We stayed here for four nights. Firstly, let's start with the positives. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel is extremely busy so you can see how hard the staff work. From the receptionist to the lady who cleaned our room and everyone in between, they were all lovely. The food is excellent, I very rarely get up for breakfast on holidays, but this week, I got up every day. Fresh fruit, great coffee, pastries, and hot food. The freshly made omelette was delicious. Dinner was great, too. My husband likes meat. I like fish and vegetables there was plenty of variety. The hotel is absolutely spotless, even the pool facilities are gleaming. As it's such a big busy hotel we'll done to the staff. Now the negatives - the walls are paper-thin, you can hear everything through the walls. The couple in the room next to us argued a lot. Neither myself nor my husband could sleep. Another night, all we could hear was someone's phone. It just kept ringing, woke me up at 2am, 3am, and 6am. We usually stay in small family run hotels, maybe this is the norm for big hotels I don't know. The only reason I didn't give the Sol Principle 5 stars is because of the noise, everything else was perfect. Thank you for looking after us so well.

“Nice rooms but not very well soundproofed”

Reasonable size rooms and bathroom however the walls were very thinand it was quite noisy ... you could hear lots of activity from the corridor and the adjoining rooms Plus the children's playground was beneath the balcony and the children stayed playing till quite late after 11:00 p.m.

On arrival to the hotel my family and i were so excited as the reception area was bright clean and very modern. On arrival to the hotel my family and i were so excited as the reception area was bright clean and very modern. That all changed when we got to our rooms which were on the 10th floor , the rooms were small and dated. My daughter who has a 2 year old was given a room that had 2 twin beds pushed together and a single bed at the bottom for the child. U could not move or get the pram into the room, their cases were in the bathroom and we had to keep the pram in our room. I went down straight away to get their room changed but said they couldnt do anything to next day. Next day again i went down and they got a room for them on the 3rd floor. Breakfast time was like a catle market as u couldnt get moving and didnt enjoy eating there. Glad we were only b +b. Wouldnt go back to this hotel .
