We stayed here for May Half Term 2026 Lovely hotel, great location and all staff very friendly and accommodating Sun beds were ok bit busy first thing in the morning, but they have a sun bed supervisor so any beds left unattended have a note placed on them.and then have the towels removed if still not being used when he comes round again. Seems to work well. Hotel Wi-Fi is good never had any issues in room using the firestick with smart TV or tablets. Air-conditioning is very good. There is a small arcade/game room near the pool and plenty of activities during the day around the pool and kids club for younger children. Hotel gym is well equipped and available 24/7. The food was good, typical all inclusive i guess some repetition of certain dishes but also plenty of variety. There is a ice cream and sweet area set up for lunch and dinner which was well used by adults and children a like. The all inclusive bar was ok local lagers, wines, spirits, slushes and soft drinks included, premium spirits were available but pricey at over €10 for my preferred choice of whiskey so I purchased a bottle in the local store 5 minutes away for €24 instead. Kids club and daytime actives were really good including pool activities. also had a kids disco and small arcade/games room. Some of the out door evening entertainment was bit hit and miss. the show nights were brilliant, The Greatest Showman and ShipRocked particularly but other nights seemed a little flat. I would suggest taking an extension cable as rooms seem to a bit pot luck, we had 5 sockets in our room (not including TV and fridge) yet the in-laws, next door only had 1 at the side of the bed. Only real issue we had was on the first evening when a set of clothes were damaged by what appeared to be bleach rubbing on them when using the bathroom near reception. although this was reported to our reps and a resolution was reached with guest services over all lovely hotel and will be looking to book again for next year

Check in was easy and fast. All staff throughout the hotel are really friendly. Family rooms are a bit dated but a nice balcony overlooking the pool are. Pool area is as good as you will get both pools plus the splash park are brilliant for a relaxing day, although you need to be up early to get a sunbed. Food isn't good we only went b&b and only went down for breakfast once and ended up having chocolate waffles for breakfast. Kids entertainment is on from morning to night there's always something happening around the pool to keep everyone entertained. The hotel in general is class for families, clean and relaxed throughout. They clean the pools every night and they clean the pool area every morning.donr bother going into the arcade as they machines just swallow your money and you get no games as most are broken.

second time staying as sea food was excellent and reception helpful as we have mobility issues. . This trip 16 nights presented us with one serving of cold mussels and one serving of frozen langoustines as they were mushy and tasteless. The dining area had been increased and it was like a canteen cafe. Hardly a venue to enjoy a quiet time together. There were queues at all times. No service apart from drinks which was bottle only not even a glass of wine and a poor selection. The dining room should be divided into sections and much quieter. We were unable to get any sun beds in the garden or near the pool where our room overlooked. we had to travel way over to the area of the hotel which was fully packed with children. I chose June believing it would be quieter. The meat lamb chops, pork, was left by many people. Generally the good was tepid. i was very disappointed as we were eating out and i tried to stop the last week of half board. All they offered was 250 euros as opposed to way over 1400 euros and i booked directly with The sol hotel €6740 Our suite was ok and mini bar replenished daily. However inexpensive uncomfortable deck chairs hard pillows and a very firm bed were just about tolerated just not like The Melia hotels i have stated previously . The room was not luxuries as described. It was refurbished and clean but housekeeping never wiped down our side tables during the entire stay. Although this is part of Melia hotels it is not The Melia level class. I would suggest that for families who enjoy extremely loud entertainment and non stop partying the hotel would be perfect. The staff are as helpful as they can and work hard to help if possible. The Manager Jorge was particularly understanding which made a difference to me . However what is offered by this hotel is very limited. Moreover booking directly with The Sol hotel was more expensive than through a holiday company offering all inclusive. Having all inclusive was generally included as the guests had bands on their wrists. Not attractive either. I hope to revisit A Melia hotel which is smaller.
