This was my first all inclusive experience with my family. I’m 21 and didn’t think i would enjoy it but i’ve had so much fun, everyone here has been so friendly and i’ve met other people staying here that are similar to my age that ive been able to have fun with. The bar staff Biel, Dani, Maria, Lazavo and Barto are excellent and will always have a chat and a joke with you, they work very hard to make sure you are having the best time and always have a drink in front of you. Overall it’s been very fun so if you are a 20 year old wondering what it’s like to go on holiday with your family, you will definitely meet people and will definitely have a laugh!

Aug 7. Bahía was first stop on bus transfer from airport. It’s a family owned hotel. Lobby cool and airy. Nicely decorated. Small book library in the lounge. We arrive late and a small buffet was left for us which was a nice touch. Went half board. Twin room Hotel spotless. Rooms cleaned daily and towels replaced if you put the dirty ones in the bath. Room a little small but manageable for two. Quiet at night for us which was great. Good location. Shops and restaurants and a pharmacy just steps away. Beach easy to walk to. Spar grocery shop for bits close by too. Its about 20min walk to the old town. There is a bus #324 that runs frequently and taxis are few we found. So we walked to and from which in the heat was a lot. Breakfast great. Evening meal had choices. I like spicy food but the food was a bit bland for me. Biggest complaint there was no free water. Had to purchase a bottle with dinner every night. But water available at breakfast. Apparently this is common around the island. Sunbeds around the pool were a premium and you had to queue starting at 7.15 (gate opened at 8). But plenty of beds further away and much quieter too. Pool a little small but clean and maintained. There is a pool bar. No lifeguard that we saw. But a few grown men were doing back flips into the pool and bombing which is inconsiderate but that’s people. Also a lot of inflatables which at peak times , filled up the pool and made the pool even smaller. But tbh it was a clean and acceptable pool with easy access with steps down into the shallow end. Staff friendly, helpful and approachable. Especially bar waitress Marta. We had cocktails which were hit or miss. But very drinkable all the same. There is some pool entertainment. I did water aerobics which was fun. In addition, a couple of events at night. Singers etc. flamenco one night. There is a person for a few hours each day where you can book trips. We did the cave and snorkel trip. You’ll need your own snorkel. We enjoyed getting in the sea and swimming. Water was turquoise and clear. To be honest, a few minor complaints but essentially excellent and a great holiday. Would go back again.

Great hotel, very clean, friendly staff, good food, although not too much variety, Overall a great stay - we were there during the world cup final - what a great evening, The entertainment team were very engaging and encouraged us to join in, location was very close to the beach and a short walk from the market - on Sundays and Tuesdays, I would recommend this hotel, my only small gripe, the hotel has a sun bed policy of not reserving, clearly displayed at the entrance and on each parasol, but nobody enforces it, so by 8.05 am all sunbeds are reserved, and often not used for hours, not fair on families with young kids who cant get a look in, please enforce your own policy. This would certainly not stop me recommending or re-booking, but worth mentioning.

A great 10 day stay in this smaller hotel. Bahía Alcudia is very well located: close to the beach (5 mins) and to local shops and restaurants. The hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy throughout- all day. Reviews are correct to say that staff are friendly and professional and are very happy to help. If you have a late flight, staff are happy for you to stay all day and use facilities after your check out. The food is as good as can be hoped for in a very busy hotel catering for families and guests of all nationalities - trying to cater for different tastes, ages and needs must be tricky. There was plenty of choice and good variety every day. Breakfast was very good. Most guests are fully inclusive. My criticisms are minor; the first is that If you are half board then you cannot get a drink of water with your evening meal for free; you will have to buy a bottle (although you are served at your table). Secondly, there is no staff member or life guard at the pool. Most people are very sensible here but I did see one adult doing back flips in to the pool and several teenagers bombing and I thought it was dangerous - others might disagree. Lastly, there are fridges in the rooms but no bottles of water are in there for your arrival al so this is something to be aware of. Just a final small point - despite signs asking guests not to - people get up early and reserve beds by the pool (queue at 7:30) and again this is as allowed. We enjoyed our stay though and will come back!
