Fabulous little hotel, staff are wonderful. The team in the bar; Juan, Maria, Xisco, Jona and Lazaro are fabulous. They are attentive, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel!

We absolutely loved this hotel so much we have booked to return next year. We visited Majorca (Palmanova) last year and knew we wanted to come back but we wanted a quieter resort this time. Bahía de Alcudia was the perfect destination for us as a family of three - we chose All Inclusive which was exactly what we needed with a growing 3 year old who says “I’m hungry” every five minutes! There were posters in reception mentioning upgrades to Premium All Inclusive but the lady checking us in never offered this to us or gave us any more information on it, but having grown very fond of the frozen strawberry daiquiris in the bar by the end of the week I think next year I would definitely go for the Premium All Inclusive option. There didn’t seem to be many people on All Inclusive - lots of cyclists who were out cycling all day - so lunch was always really quiet. The food was amazing - there was a theme every night, like sushi night, seafood night and Mexican night, and the food was always fresh and very tasty, at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar and restaurant staff were also fantastic and attentive, and were so kind with my son who they made a real fuss of every day, calling him ‘guapo’ and making him laugh. The grounds were lovely - plenty of seated areas and you didn’t feel crowded anywhere, a nice play area for children which was out of the way and in the shade which is always appreciated, and the pool area was clean and tidy - we tended to go out in the morning after breakfast so didn’t come to the pool until later in the day but there was always sunbeds available that were comfy. There was a small children’s pool that my son loved splashing around in. The only slight issue was there wasn’t always staff around at the pool area - on one day an obnoxious group of German men were sitting around the pool area and thought it was funny to play ‘adult film’ noises loudly through their speakers - it would have been good if there had been a staff member there to challenge that behaviour as it really wasn’t that kind of hotel where you’d expect uncouth behaviour. The room was lovely - not the biggest room in the world but I read a review saying someone didn’t have enough space for clothes - the curtained wardrobe was out of the way in the room and provided plenty of space for clothes for a family of 3 for the week - just take extra coat hangers! The room was clean and the balcony with a garden view was nice. It was on the second floor and it wasn’t noisy. There was a nice terrace on the other end of the corridor. Cleaning staff were lovely and did a very efficient job - the room was always spotless. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa because their ‘children’s hour’ (which is a great idea!) was for age 4 and above and our son isn’t 4 until June, but we will definitely be trying it out when we return next year. The location was great - a short walk to the beach and the shops, not far to the harbour and within easy reaching distance of the old town and Roman ruins - we took a taxi which was about 5 euros due to having a small child with us but it wouldn’t be a bad walk either.
