Have just got back from 5 nights at this hotel with my partner. Our first adults only break and we are defo converted. The hotel is beautiful, communal areas are spotless. We really rated the food- good quality meat, super tasty and we especially liked the paella and the Mexican theme night! Staff are lovely, polite and helpful. The drinks are good, only downfall for me was the fact some of my favs were missing from the AI, namely mojito, margarita and prosecco, but the gin and beer did the job. The entertainment is good, we were there for karaoke, bingo, and a reggae live singer who was superb. The entertainment guy was fab, funny guy but not forceful to get you involved. The rooms were gorgeous and really well kept by the cleaners, you could tell the floors were cleaned each day which has been a gripe in previous hotels I’ve stayed in when you’re treading sand in! The shower wasn’t great, hard to get the right temp and the water would just go all over the floor every time. The location is good, it’s walking distance to the beach and shops, however it’s not immediately lively if you wanted to nip for a quick drink at a bar across the road but no biggie , gave us a reason to get out and explore abit! The vibe around the pool area is so chilled being adults only, which I absolutely loved. There is a pool table, gym, table tennis table, jacuzzi/steam room too which was all good to have. I would defo recommend this place

Stayed at the Bordoy hotel in Alcudia bay we found the reception/bar/cleaning staff all very helpful the hotel was very clean as was the bedroom and bathroom.food was good Hotel is 10 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes walk to Alcudia port where there is good food and drink to be found if your not AI at the hotel also within walking distance in the old town if you don’t want to walk there are plenty of buses Hotel was amazing the only thing I would say is that all the drinks were not on the AI list which I was not aware maybe that was my fault for not checking maybe the hotel could do an AI plus that includes all the drinks the hotel has at the bar one other thing I would add is do not charge your AI guests for bottles of water Saying that I thought the hotel was great and we will be returning next year

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. There were plenty of positives, but a few areas that fell short of what we’d expect from a 4-star property. Pros * Modern and attractive main hotel areas, including the pool and bar. * Despite the common issue of guests reserving sunbeds, we always managed to find somewhere to sit. * Drinks were reasonably priced and could be charged to the room or paid for by card, which was convenient. * Large, comfortable bed. * Effective air conditioning in the room. * Staff were consistently friendly, helpful and polite. * Pleasant 20–30 minute walk to Alcudia Port, either along the road or the beach. * Convenient location close to bus routes for Alcudia Old Town, Pollenca and other nearby areas. * Lidl supermarket only a 5-minute walk away for affordable groceries and essentials. * Several local restaurants and bars within walking distance that we really enjoyed. * Fridge provided in the room. Cons * The food was disappointing and well below what we’d expect from a 4-star hotel. We were half-board but only ate dinner in the hotel twice due to the poor quality and limited choice. Breakfast was acceptable, with fresh pastries being a highlight, but the cooked options were average. Pancakes and waffles were often dry and cold. * Guests could upgrade for €5 per person per night for unlimited drinks at dinner, but the service made this difficult to use. Nobody came to take drink orders, and staff were usually busy clearing tables, meaning you had to actively try to get their attention. * The dining area was very small. On one evening at peak time, we couldn’t even get a table for two. I can only imagine this becomes more problematic during the height of summer. * Entertainment was run by a single staff member who was lovely and worked hard to create a good atmosphere, but there is only so much one person can do. For a 4-star hotel, we expected more variety and evening entertainment options. * The rooms, hallways and dining area felt dated and didn’t match the modern look of the main hotel spaces. Maintenance issues were noticeable, including mouldy and deteriorating grout and sealant, a bathroom door that didn’t close properly, and a rusty balcony table. * The shower pressure was excessive and the shower screen was too short, resulting in the bathroom floor flooding after every use. * Very limited counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. * Storage was lacking, with very few hangers and only one drawer in the entire room, which may be frustrating for longer stays. * Rooms were cleaned daily, but not particularly thoroughly. Bed sheets were never changed during our stay, even when visibly soiled. * Only two small lifts served the hotel, which could lead to delays during busier periods. Overall The hotel has some strong points, particularly its location, friendly staff, pool area and modern communal spaces. However, the food, room condition and lack of attention to detail in maintenance and housekeeping mean it falls short of the standard we’d expect from a 4-star hotel.
