I had a pleasant stay overall at this hotel. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. A special mention goes to Richard, who really stood out for his professionalism and kindness, making the experience even more enjoyable. ( however don't ask for a "pequeno " drink as he does not know what this means) Basel was very friendly and attentive and helpful on other places to visit! The hotel itself is very clean and well-organised, which made for a comfortable and stress-free stay. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The food options were mainly vegetarian, and while the quality was good, the variety could definitely be expanded to cater to a wider range of preferences. In terms of entertainment, the evening offerings were enjoyable and well-organised, creating a nice atmosphere for guests. However, during the day there was very little going on. I would move to have some music by the pool or introdice more daytime activities to make the experience more lively and engaging throughout the day. Overall, a good stay with some room for enhancement.

A very special place with incredible staff! We went away for 5 days as a couple as were treated like royally from the moment we walked in. We arrived a little later than planned due to transport issues and on arrival Alberto very quickly provided us with some gluten free snacks and later took us around the dinner room to show what was available. Gluten free bread and pasta was available on request as well as carefully prepared meat and fish to a very loving and high standard. Alberto later booked a very special meal for us and Ricard helped us book the right taxi for our special meal. Safe to say, we wouldn’t have been able to experience the Spanish culture at its best without their support and care. Ismael, Ricard and Alberto made our stay so special and our needs and enjoyment were always at the forefront of their daily service. Could not recommend this hotel enough with beautiful views. Excellent food, drinks and facilities and the service staff made it even more special! Thank you and we can’t wait to come again x

“Good Hotel for a quick break away”

We spent 5 days at the Bordoy Alcudia Bay, as a quick break away. We booked with Jet 2 and it was reasonably priced. The Hotel The hotel was clean and modern. The pool area was large, with plenty of sunbeds. (And 2 resident cats who were very cute). The bar area was not huge. But we always found a seat. The restaurant was a bit reminiscent of a school canteen. But there were always seats. WiFi was patchy at times. But this may have been down to the weather as it was very stormy and windy. The gym was small but had key equipment, we didn’t use the spa. Location of the hotel was good. Easy to walk to either the port or the old town. Lovey beach. Easy to get the bus to other areas. The bedroom The rooms were a good size, we had upgraded to a pool view, the bed was large with a kettle, Nespresso machine, mini fridge, safe etc. the bathroom needs updating. The shower screen doesn’t appear to fit the shower well, so water just poured out of the door. The balconies are not that private and the rooms are not that soundproof. Unfortunately guests arrived in the room next to us who didn’t quite understand the notion of respect of other guests. We unfortunately did have to complain and the staff did attempt to do something about it. Staff The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They work very hard. Food and Drink We chose to go all inclusive, but a number of the cocktails were not included in the AI menu. I sensed that those paying for drinks got a better deal. Tea and coffee were a disappointment. The coffee machine was not of good quality and sadly the UHT milk used had a very strange taste. (We managed to get fresh milk at Lidl so at least we could have a decent cup of tea). The food was plentiful and fresh. But it was pretty much the same each night. Just a different variation on a casserole, a grilled meat or fish and a roast. There were attempts at theme nights, but they never quite gelled. Vegetables were a bit disappointing frozen or tinned left stewing in their own liquid. They definitely catered for a predominantly uk and German market. It was a shame there wasn’t an option of some tapas. The deserts could have been better, no homemade options. Breakfast provided the most options. If you are vegetarian or vegan. I think you would have struggled for variety. All in all, I would recommend a stay here based on location, friendliness, cleanliness and value for money.
