We went from the 11th to the 18th April 2026 and here are my thoughts on our stay at Club Mac, Alcudia. The good: There are 8 pools of various sizes dotted around the site and given only half of the hotel was booked (only the Jupiter building seemed to have guests, the Saturn one was quiet I think), there were plenty of sunbeds every day with no fighting or arguing that I saw. There is plenty for the kids to do that is included in the price, my kids (7 and 10) were entertained for the vast majority but I think older kids might not find it as good. The access to the Hidropark water park was superb and we used it for two days, just popping back to the hotel for lunch each day (it's a 5 min walk). The water is quite cold but as the weather heats up, it will be welcome i am sure of it. The food choices were good with new options each day and the staff were fantastically professional and polite, the best I have encountered in Spain. The best beach on Majorca (in my view) is only a 20 minute walk and regular buses run so it's well-placed and we walked to old Alcudia town through the nature reserve (path not suitable for buggies) in 20 mins. The hotel was kept very clean throughout and the pools etc were clean too. The not-so-good: The bedrooms are very small and the balconies are tiny so not really useable by more than one person at a time. It is a very lively hotel and the walls are very thin so you will hear your neighbours every evening and morning. Our first room was next to a very loud family who were singing and talking loudly until 0130 (they were enjoying themselves on holiday is all) and i am a light sleeper so it disturbed me very much. In the end i asked reception if we could move and they allowed this for 20 EUROS and our new room was slightly better for sound but not ideal. There was the smell of cannabis smelt on one occasion on the balcony and some of the families allowed their kids to run wild at all hours so i found that hard to cope with on occasion. Summary It is a fantastic family hotel in many ways with lots going for it and fun to be had, but if you're a light sleeper or don't cope well with large groups then you might wish to find somewhere else to stay. I would recommend it overall.

We have just returned from a week at Club Mac, as a family of 7, with kids from age 8-15. We didn’t have high expectations but budget constraints meant it was this, or no holiday. We were actually pleasantly surprised! The rooms were basic but adequate, clean and well maintained. The food - we have stayed in various hotels in Majorca with 3* rating (and I’m very fussy!), and actually found the food ok. The kids absolutely loved it. They LOVED the burger/ chip bar by the pool. The pool areas are clean and well managed. We never struggled to find 7 sun beds either! The hiring of cups is pretty standard across hotels these days I would say and wasn’t a drama. My only criticism would be that during the days of AWFUL rain we had (not the hotels fault!), there was nothing at all to do, and with 5 children this was a challenge. The public areas were cold, with the doors open too. There are only so many games of uno you can play. Overall we had a lovely holiday at what is advertised as a 3* hotel, and I think they do it well.
