I've been coming to this resort since I was 2 years old, and now at 30, I still return year after year. Over the years I've visited with my parents, extended family, friends on girls' holidays, and now with my own family. That alone speaks volumes about how special this place is to us. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and always feels welcoming. It's become a place filled with wonderful memories, and we've even made lifelong friends here over the years. My step children absolutely love it and start asking when we're coming back again almost as soon as we've returned home! The food is good and offers plenty of choice for everyone. While it's fairly standard holiday resort food, it's always enjoyable and there's something for all tastes. Each evening has a different theme, which adds a bit of variety, alongside the usual favourites such as pasta, salads, grilled options, and desserts. During the peak summer months, the restaurant can get very busy and queues can be quite long at times, but that's to be expected given how popular the resort is. One of the things we love most is the location. There are so many fantastic restaurants and places to visit outside the complex, meaning you don't have to spend all your time on-site. While the entertainment within the resort isn't always the strongest part of the experience, it certainly doesn't take away from what an amazing place this is. Having visited for almost three decades, I've seen the resort through its ups and downs, and I can honestly say the rooms are now the best they've ever been. The refurbishment and improvements over the years have made a huge difference. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer excellent value for money, especially outside of the school holiday periods. At the end of the day, you get exactly what you pay for, and for the price, it's hard to fault. On the rare occasion there is an issue, the hotel staff are always approachable and accommodating, and any concerns regarding cleanliness or the room itself are dealt with quickly and professionally. One thing that occasionally gets mentioned in reviews is the mosquitoes during the peak summer months. As the resort has a beautiful lake running through the centre, it's only natural that there will be more mosquitoes during hotter periods. In my opinion, this isn't the fault of the resort at all, and it's something that can easily be managed by bringing insect repellent or taking a few simple precautions. After nearly 30 years of visiting, it's never been something that has put us off returning, and certainly doesn't take away from everything else the resort has to offer. For us, this resort feels like a second home. After nearly three decades of visits and countless happy memories, it's still our favourite holiday destination, and we look forward to returning for many more years to come.
