We arrived as a party of 5 around 1am on 4th April and we quickly checked in and were offered some basic snacks as it had been several hours before we had last eaten. We found our room (215) to be quite dated and despite booking for 2 adults and a 15 year old the spare bed had not been made up, something we could have done without at that time of night. Although we only stayed 3 nights we only had one instance of maid service and were disappointed to only receive 2 clean towels, again something that should have been included. The location of the hotel is adjacent to a stunning beach with very clear waters, probably our favourite feature of the hotel. The pool was large and clean so no complaints there. Sadly the biggest let down has to be the food. The choice was limited compared to other all inclusive breaks we’ve had and it was often cold, not a problem if you are wanting a continental breakfast but if like me you enjoy bacon, sausage, eggs etc you would expect them to be hot. Same goes for the evening meals, not great quality and seldom warm. All in all we enjoyed our break and would return to the area for the lovely beach but next time it’s likely to be at a different hotel.

This is our review of a hotel we once loved but now sadly poor quality and definitely not value for money its very expensive now We stayed here 1st week in sep 2025 this being our 6th visit our 1st being 1991 Room We had a double sea view room Room is small,newly renovated but still absolutely awful storage space The bathroom was again small but a nice shower all the rooms at this hotel are small apart from the suits which are a very expensive upgrade FOOD We did AI. (again quite expensive) Be warned if you cheak out after 11am you cannot use the hotel facilities no food no drinks unless you pay €50 EACH so if you arrive late evening and miss breakfast, lunch and dinner you lose a compleat day of services BUT THIS IS YOUR 1ST NIGHT so upon checkout you have lost a full day services at a cost of over €50 an absolute scandle The food was mediocre quality but lots of choice some food stations NOT labelled ( unacceptable) Breakfast In the past the hotel put on show cooking at breakfast waffles omlettes pancakes and crapes not any more obviously a cost cutting exercise Lunch Smaller choice than at dinner time but still enough choices again some food stations not labelled Dinner was of a fair standard with plenty of choices some food was not warm enough and all of the meat dishes were overly salty One thing that upset me in the past they had staff offering coffee now its your own again saving money by saving staff wages a common team now at this hotel its these little things that have spoiled this hotel Pool Ok the pool was retilled a couple of years ago and it looks awful the blue tiles before were so much Nicer completely ruined the look of this pool. It was kept very clean though Sunloungers Very close together hardly any room between them looking a little tired now. loungers on the beach were very expensive. Get up earlier if you want your choice be ready for the early morning towel run I do admit to partaking of this ritual beach towels supplied by hotel at a deposit of €10 could only change them at a certain time ridiculous again saving on staff Drinks Not the best quality to be honest If you asked for a vodka you got the cheap local product or any other cheap local spirit, be advise always look at drinks menu and choose the AI premium brand (eg smirnoff ) they have a few choices We visited the sky bar tge prices were bloody extortionate €12.00 for quite rubbish cocktails Staff Huge issue here... the staff were very miserable hardly ever engaging with visitors most extremely rude. never smiling no please no thank you or any king of polite manners mostly your drink just banged on the bar then turn their back on you just awful Entertainment This was the biggest let down of all it was nothing like on years past you have an hour of bingo costing €2/€5 to play the prizes were cheap and nasty obviously the money taken went straight in the hotel owners pocket.. a total disgrace Then an hour quiz that you played via an app it was so boring and again took up time so save on professional acts The professional act were very very poor quality in fact most were rubbish many people i spoke to agreed this hotel has really gone down hill In quality and value for money We saw the owners one day tried to talk about how the hotel had really gone down hill but we were very quickly and rudly pushed away
