We really enjoyed our stay - we think it would appeal to people who want a relaxed holiday at a competitive price. Well suited for people with small children. Probably not quite enough for teens?. Yes it’s a bit dated, but spotless and in a 10 day stay our towels were changed alternate days and bedding changed mid stay. We had a two bedroom that had air con in living room and one of the bedrooms + fans, they have clearly recently invested in lots of air con in units. We appreciated the lifeguard who kept the pool tranquil and asked people to turn their music down, which was absolutely correct (use headphones!). The pool was large, lots of comfy new sun beds and they had stacks of extras if needed. The food was excellent value, great extra thin type pizzas and plenty to choose from, including a selection of mains and tapas, bar prices also great. All the staff, without exception were very pleasant, helpful and impeccably polite. Read some rather unfair reviews as they are more about the town, which, yes is a bit run down, and Jimmy Hills dominated… and in our view not in a good way. There are quite a few good places to eat, little cove type beaches that made a pleasant change as all very natural. We used the apartment to explore Ciutadella a few times, it’s only €1.70 each way - fantastic compact city and loved it, many beautiful shops, an unbeatable food offering. We also took the bus across to Mahón - (change in Ciutadella) which we also enjoyed.

We've just returned last week from our stay at Vista picas and will definitely be returning. Myself, partner and 4 year old had a lovely stay for our second time in Menorca, first stay was at vista blanes, although we enjoyed there too we found it was a bit far to everything, so vista picas was perfect for us. We stayed in 233 and requested to be the other side of Jimmy hills and 1st floor apartment which they catered for. When entering the apartment we thought it was spacious and very clean. The towels were changed three times in the week we stayed and bed changed once although we were asked on our last day if we wanted the beds and towels changed, we asked for just towels as the bedding would be okay for one last night. Dont expect the room to be cleaned throughout the stay apart from towels and bedding as you get your own mop and sweeping brush due to it being self catering. We knew this before coming. All reception, restaurant and staff are friendly and welcoming and willing to give any recommendations or directions to places in Menorca. Theres also a small games room on site for the children with pool tables too. The entertainment noise from the surrounding bars and restaurants didnt affect us and didnt feel was that loud. The only thing we found was we brought our own lilo and a couple of other families we spoke to did too, the first lifeguard told us we were not allowed to use them, a few days later a different lifeguard was working and we returned from a day out and everyone was using lilos in the pool. There was three lifeguards working separately throughout our stay and there was only one lifeguard that didnt allow lilos. If you dont like a quiet atmosphere then this isnt the place for you. Overall we have had a brilliant stay at Vista Picas and as soon as the dates come out for next year we will be booking. Thank you Vista picas!

Our third stay at Vista Picas. The introduction of air conditioning this year was very welcome but this seems to have come at the detriment of the upkeep of the apartments. Our third stay at Vista Picas. The introduction of air conditioning this year was very welcome but this seems to have come at the detriment of the upkeep of the apartments. Some areas looking a bit tired in the apartment and reduction of the frequency of housekeeping compared to previous years. No sunbed wars, pool fantastic, bar and restaurant on site excellent and staff friendly. The town itself looking run down, lots of places not reopened this year so choice of bars and restaurants a bit more limited. Ate at L’Ancora, Los Delfines, Es Replec and the Indian restaurant- all excellent. Jimmy Hills for the England game, is what it is cheap and cheerful! Taxi to Ciutadella less than 10 euros. If you want a quiet, relaxing break it is perfect. For us we’ve exhausted the resort now.
