All the staff at Seth Isla Paraiso were so friendly and welcoming. The kids animation team were brilliant! Full of energy and so much fun - the children loved them! The waiters and staff in the restaurant worked so hard and were always so friendly and polite. And so were the staff at the pool snack bar - always smiling and creating a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was varied, high quality and delicious! We particularly enjoyed the Menorca food night. The rooms were a very good size, clean, with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchenette. We loved the 3 pools and spent hours in them! And the beach was only a short 5 min walk away - absolutely beautiful! We hired a pedalo and paddle boards - the water is so calm and clear. A great spot for snorkelling! The evening entertainment was really good fun and varied and once again the animation team did a wonderful job! This is a fantastic hotel and great value for money. We would recommend it to anyone! Thank you so much for a BRILLIANT holiday! I hope we will come back again in the future.

“2 week family holiday”

Had a fantastic 2 weeks with my family (2 adults 3 kids - 4, 6 & 9). We also went with another family and the venue accommodated us by having our apartment's side by side. Really love the place, 3 pools to choose from, enough sun loungers though you want to be up before 8:30 for the best locations… more

Had a fantastic 2 weeks with my family (2 adults 3 kids - 4, 6 & 9). We also went with another family and the venue accommodated us by having our apartment's side by side. Really love the place, 3 pools to choose from, enough sun loungers though you want to be up before 8:30 for the best locations. Was a massive fan of the entertainment, kids really enjoyed the kids club, could dip in and out as they wanted. The games during the day were fun, and not over bearing, willing cocktails or slushies for the little ones an added bonus. Shout out to Dani, Ceni & Francisco (hope I spelled those correctly) who were brilliant throughout and brought lots of energy! Location was great, 3 minutes to a small beach, 10 minutes to the nearest bigger beach. Other restaurants and bars 10-15 minutes away, so we had a nice selection across the 2 weeks. Buffet was decent, along the lines of what we expected and the reception was always helpful and engaging, late checkout (6 pm) was amazing as we had a late flight so had another full day at the pool. Would recommend Seth isla paraiso to anyone with a young family. Thanks for a great 2 weeks, was sad to be leaving.

We have just literally arrived home after a week at Seth Isla! After last year we said it was unlikely we would return as although we loved the complex, B&B board basis (and the September weather!) wasn’t for us. We spent weeks looking for the ‘perfect’ place for our boys when the light bulb moment arrived - let’s try Seth Isla again! This time we booked direct with the hotel on a room only basis and separate flights, which worked out much cheaper for us as well. So all the positives - from super lovely staff (thank you for the tote bag and cheese at check in) to the amazing sea views in a top floor apartment (we were in room 424) we could not have had a better time this last week. Our 3 boys - 2 teens and an almost 12 year old loved the pool again. It’s outstanding (and very well maintained!). Even though it was busy, it never felt over crowded. As well as the large main pool, there is also a child’s pool and a large square pool further down the complex which was in a quieter part. This year we enjoyed the day time entertainment. Staff were always cheerful and engaging and it never felt forced upon you. There were plenty of beds available as long as you were down at the pool for an earlier start (helped that we were SC). We loved the spot just at the bottom of the main pool. Again we hired towels from reception, which is a great benefit. Fully refunded at check out. Plenty of parasols available too, which was needed with 32+ degrees heat. Cleaning staff. Amazing. Every day! Plenty of clean towels, toilet roll, beds made up. Definitely a bonus. A few minor niggles but to be expected on a large complex. Bed reservation! One family in particular used 8 beds one day to simply dry their kids swim wear and towels and never actually sat on the beds. This went on for 4 days. It was infuriating to see when there were clearly people struggling to find spots after lunchtime. There really should be a policy to make it fair for everyone. Families using the pool after a certain time! The pool times are 9am until 7pm. I follow rules, it’s just my nature. When others don’t, it’s infuriates me. Respect the rules! They are there for a reason! The weather was crazy hot this last week, we all felt it but swimming after 10pm was a no go for me. Firstly it is dangerous and secondly I understand that chemicals are administered to the pool for the following day. Thankfully after several calls to reception (not just by me!), the individuals were told to get out. Other information about Seth Isla. There is a lovely supermarket over the road from reception that we used a few times a day LOL. Fresh bakery items, drinks, cold meats, fruit absolutely perfect and decently priced. They also sell fresh meat as well if like us, you can’t find a decent bolognese in the resort! Easily remedied with fresh mince, a few jars of pasta sauce, dried spaghetti and a pack of grated Parmesan! Comes in at €13 for 4 people with plenty of left overs 😁. The resort itself is a bit scattered about. The complex is situated in a beautiful elevated position and personally I would have been happy to have eaten in each night from the supermarket but my boys love to eat out. There is not a lot of difference in price or menu variation with any of them really. Average cost for 5 with a soft drink was approx €100/110 a night. A couple on the beach (La Paella and Arena) have a lovely setting but can be a bit more pricey. Good Bridge Cafe is more reasonable, as is Blue Arenal but you’ve a bit of a hike to both of them and in the heat, it was hard going! We’ll be back next year without a doubt. It’s my boys new favourite place ❤️.

We stayed here as a family of 3 (child age 9) on a half board basis. Reception staff are fantastic and always ready to help. We arrived a few hours before official check in and were able to leave our bags in reception while we used the pool etc. They called me when the room was ready (2 hours early!) which was great. The room itself (2 bed apartment) was basic and clean, however is very dated and doesn’t appear to have received any upgrades for many years. They supply washing up liquid, sponge and cloths etc. On the first night we realised the shower didn’t work. There was just a trickle of water from the tap and you couldn’t switch the valve to the shower. We informed reception before going to dinner and it was fixed by the time we got back, but did slowly revert back to not working again by the end of the holiday. Every day we had ants in the room. Mainly in the kitchen area but also in the bathroom and main bedroom. We ended up storing nearly all of our food in the fridge as a result. Breakfast is great, a good range of food, fruit juice and hot drinks. I really enjoyed it every day. Dinner is not so great. There is a range of meat, fish, salads and desserts every day but it is rarely hot. If you can get something when it has been freshly put out it’s fine. I never saw food temperatures being checked and sometimes it was outright cold. I think I ate maybe 2 actually hot meals out of 10. This resulted in food wastage as it’s well advised not to eat room temperature food from buffets - especially when travelling. Soup was always hot so I ended up sticking with that and salads/bread. Desserts were fine and there was also a good choice of ice cream every day. Drinks, including water are not included with dinner. I think a 500ml bottle of water was €2.90. Pools are good, clean and not over crowded. There’s the usual reservation of sunbeds but it’s not too bad. There’s still beds available around 10am so it’s only necessary if you want a particular spot or parasol. Evening entertainment was good. The usual mini disco plus a range of other things. Karaoke, live singers, magic show or acrobats! Beach is walking distance and lovely. I would recommend hiring a car to see the rest of the island. I actually stayed here about 6 years ago and it has unfortunately gone a little downhill - but this is mainly due to the evening dining. I believe they have a new chef this year which could have something to do with it. I would consider staying here again but I would probably go on a B&B basis. For a 3 star hotel, it has everything you need.
