Beautiful place to bring kids. Apartments are so spacious and spotless! Swimming pool with water slides is perfect for the kids and big kids🤣 Evening entertainment crew are brilliant, supermarkets very near the hotel but shop around cause prices vary. The only downside was the price of the breakfast. €19 per adult per day was a bit expensive but kids go free so hopefully the family would eat the monies worth because ours didn’t. The beach is only a small walk with very clear waters! Otherwise can’t fault the hotel! Really enjoyed our time there! Again perfect for kids!

Just returned from a week here with our two boys ages 6 and 4. We really enjoyed it. The apartment was clean and spacious. Cooking facilities were perfect. Kids loved the slides in the pool. Had hours of fun. Would like to give a special mention to entertainment manager Mike and his team. They were fantastic. The kids enjoyed activities all throughout the day, things like bracket making, face paint, bouncy castle to mention a few. Each day ended with a very energetic mini disco followed by a show. Every night was a different show- magic show, reptile show, movie night, etc. We will definitely be back. Had great time.

“Great visit”

Just returned from a great week's holiday, the hotel was clean, staff were helpful, great location and the brand new entertainment team did a great job helping keep our children entertained all week and giving our family extra support when needed.

We travelled early May with our 2 young children (2&3) & my parents. It was our first time to Cala D’or & staying at this hotel, we had a family room & my parents had a superior room. Overall our stay was fine but wouldn’t return. We arrived around 2am & requested a welcome pack for both rooms (milk, water, bread ect) but only our room received this. Not a massive issue but we had to let reception know as it still charged to the room. Our family room was a nice size, decent small kitchen area & the living area was spacious & comfortable. Bathroom was a good size although when using the shower it would flood the bathroom so we needed to request clean towels daily as we had to use them to soak up the water each night. Bedroom was fine, a good amount of storage / hanging space & dressing table. The beds were extremely uncomfortable that myself & my husband struggled to sleep the whole we were away. We ended up putting the fluffy blankets underneath us in an attempt to make it more bearable. We asked for our room to be cleaned daily by hanging the sign on our door. My parents room was fairly similar, more modern looking kitchen. Same issue with the bathroom & beds. Although their room didn’t have a dressing table area. The pool area was fine, the sunbeds were very close together with not enough parasols in my opinion. The small children’s pool & slides were great for our babies, they really enjoyed them! Although we didn’t take part in the children entertainment throughout the day or a nighttime it did look great! Our children were just a little bit too young but they did enjoy the play park. We also liked that there was a lifeguard every day around the pool that actually took notice. Pool towels are available for €5 which you get back once handed back, they can also be changed for clean ones for €2. One thing to be mindful of is we actually had one taken off our sun bed, thinking maybe someone had lost one themselves & taken ours as not to get their €5 back. We didn’t really eat at the hotel other than the odd sandwich / chicken nuggets / chips at lunch time so can’t comment on the food. We found some staff to be unfriendly & rude but not sure if this is due to us being used to super friendly Greek workers. We found parts of Cala D’or to be quite dirty, often having to step over dog mess on the pavements. The hotel itself is in good location, out the back gates in a 10 minute walk down to Cala Gran beach which is beautiful but I can imagine in high season it to be very crowded. Out the front of the hotel & a 5 minute walk is a super market & a small area for children with inflatables / trampolines & cars on a track. Our little ones enjoyed this on a nighttime.
