Beautiful location right on the marina, had our meals outside overlooking million pound yachts! Clean around buildings and pools, but housekeeping left a lot to be desired! Didnt have my sheets changed for 4 days, so I stripped the bed and left the sheets outside! Also had to ask for toilet roll! They did give us towels daily. My daughter and bf had the room next door and never had their sheets changed for the duration of the stay. The food was nice, lots of choice, good show cooking, lots of gluten free options, food had little signs to show allergens. Wasn't very warm but there was a microwave! Drinks were the usual, lager, wine, spirits. Pools are great, kids area and adult only area. Friendly staff. 10 minute walk either way to cala gran or cala egos where there are restaurants, bars and shops. Free minibus to beach was a nice extra. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We love cala d'or 💓 Ps do the boat, tram, train excursion, well worth the money!

“Minor issues that didn’t spoil the trip, just inconvenient”

We will start with the good, and end with the not so good… Firstly, the location is great, food is good, better than expected for a 3 star! Pool areas are nice, but they definitely need a place to put used cups (just a tub), closer to the child pool, empties are just left blowing in the wind. Drink options are good! Moving on to the not so good, Air con didn’t work on our first day, multiple tries to fix, and told us it was fixed when our room remained sauna like, The reception staff did acknowledge this after the second complaint and moved our room on day 2. Beds squeeky, not talking funny business, purely moving an inch is hideous (same for both rooms), not ideal with a young toddler. We ended up sleeping on the sofas! Room cleanliness, mould on the walls, sand on the floor before we even moved in. Overall, I would go back as we had a great trip, just some of the basics could be better.

We first stayed here 3 years ago, and knew we would return again one day. This time, we were allocated a room further away from the main complex on ground floor. As others have mentioned, there are quite a few steps to navigate throughout, so this may be something to consider. Our room was spacious with balcony, walk in shower and bedroom. Also mini fridge, kettle, safe which comes with additional charge. Meals and drinks in the buffet restaurant is pretty much on par to our last visit. Plenty of choice, and you will never go hungry or thirsty. The one thing that spoilt our stay is the smoking at the adult "chill bar" where the entertainment is on in the evening. I did mention this on my previous review 3 years ago, but this time it was so much worse. I do not think that smoking should be allowed in the covered bar area, and it seemed that a lot of the guests during my stay were smoking. Most evenings we had to move several times to try and avoid the smoke, made worse as the weather was very warm with little or no breeze to blow it away. I really do think the hotel should look into this, especially as during the evening, it's opened for adults and children. Cannot comment on animation team during the day, but the evening entertainment wasn't to our taste. Bingo and karaoke I wouldn't class as entertainment, though know lots of people do. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and the location is second to none. Also the shuttle bus to take you to Cala Gran beach and you're steps away from the town. As mentioned, my biggest negative is the smoking situation which may influence whether I would return.
