I first stayed at this beautiful hotel 2 year ago with my daughter and this time I returned with my husband. Every member of staff gives first class service, from the reception team to restaurant staff and cleaners. The room was immaculate and very spacious with a large balcony and Balinese bed. The pool area is also very well kept with fresh beach towels and we were able to find a sun lounger any time of the day. The breakfast and evening meals were superb with plenty choice to suit every taste. The service from the dining staff was first class. I really can’t fault this hotel for a relaxing stay. Unfortunately for us, my husband became unwell during our visit. We informed Aline during our stay and she was so incredibly helpful. We had a late flight home and she arranged for us to be moved to another room so my husband could rest until the bus came to pick us up. She went above and beyond for us and we were so thankful for this. We will definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others who are seeking a relaxing stay.

This was our fourth stay at the Ferrera Blanca hotel, and won’t be our last. We loved everything about the hotel and staff and will be booking next years holiday there soon. We queried about their booking procedure. When booking online previously you could only book the room location after you had paid. This, we are told, has been changed. If you wanted to book a specific room that you liked form before, you can now see if it available before you pay, and if it’s not then you can adjust your dates if you wanted to ensure you get a specific room. This is so much better. There would be some rooms that might not suite for various reasons, such as noise from the pool (although it’s actually not an issue, it’s quiet), or for the view, or access to shade from the sun. Now you can make your selection. We enjoyed the food, but don’t expect the breakfast to be your full Irish/English just like home. The sausages and bacon, etc is different, but that’s what I like about the place. There’s plenty of choice and plenty of local food on the menu. We were there in mid May and the place was busy but not chaotic like it can be in Majorca. Also, because it’s Adults Only, that keeps it calmer and more relaxed. Thanks to all the staff there, those in the background as well as the people in reception and in the restaurant and bar. Everyone was friendly and efficient.

The hotel itself is gorgeous and exactly like the photos. Most of the staff are very friendly, the reception staff are amazing. The reason I’ve put 4 stars is because of the restaurant staff, when we arrived we were told we could put anything we paid for on the bill or pay directly which we decided to do for every payment so we didn’t rack up a bill. One male member of staff had an issue with this and even told receptionist we didn’t pay for 2 drinks when we did. Then the next morning we were ignored by another male member of staff and not offered any specials. When the specials did arrive they were undercooked and I had a hair in mine. Other than the restaurant staff the hotel is lovely and in a great location very close to town.

This hotel has some excellent reviews. In fact they played a part in my booking choice. I have given in my opinion a generous 3 stars because the room and most if the staff at this hotel were what we expected. The restaurant and some of the staff were not. The food was never more than warm, plates were cold. As an adults only establishment I would have expected less bulky cheap food such as pizza (with virtually no topping) chips, tasteless pasta and cous cous. There was always a meat and fish option but these were sometimes inedible being dry and tough or luke warm and under cooked. The waiters in the restaurant did not seem to care the so much food was left on plates. We had been at the hotel 3 days before we were told there were breakfast specials, I asked for avocado with a poached egg, when it arrived the egg had a white skin on it but was otherwise raw and liquid. I left it. The same thing happened the day after and the day after that. I mentioned it at the table of course, and was asked if i wanted another one but I just got some food from the buffet instead. The waiters were always very busy and I didn't want to spend my holiday complaining. I could go on with further examples but suffice to say this hotel did not live upto previous reviews and our expectations sadly.
