We spent 10 nights here, home 2 days ago. The staff are brilliant, helpful and chatty. The communal areas are spotless as is the pool area. We had a studio and it was roomy enough with a pool facing triangular balcony, ample room. We kept some clothes in the cases as the wardrobe was a bit tight (we do take lots of clothes). The beds are very comfy memory matresses and the air con quiet and efficient. The kitchen area a little dated but we didn't cook anyway. Rooms were cleaned and sheets changed regulary. The food and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced with cocktails cheaper than local bars. Snacks the same and very tasty. The location is fabulous, five mins from Cala Gran and Esmerelda. And ten mins walk to the busy restaurant area. Eden Paradise and Tropical gardens have live tribute acts every night with great interaction and both only a five minute walk. There is no entertainment at the complex not even music around the pool, only at the snack bar, but very close if preferred. Sumbeds were being claimed very early morning and the lifeguards are told to remove towels if not used for an hour. The only thing I would recommend to the managers: the microwave stands on top of the fridge, they need a worktop over the fridge as you only have room on the hob to put plates on for preparing meals and nowhere that the kettle can reach in that area. They gave us an extension lead on request. Thanks go out to all the staff who helped us with a few requests, chatted and smiled all day, and a special thank you to Paula on reception and Sergio the manager who went above and beyond with a request for my disabled husband. We loved our time here!

“Great hotel, central & close to beach!”

Just finishing up a two week stay at this hotel & we are very pleased. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the centre with all the restaurants and bars. Just finishing up a two week stay at this hotel & we are very pleased. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the centre with all the restaurants and bars. A two minute walk down to Cala Gran which was our favourite beach. The pool opens at 10 and on our first week there was very little towels left out up until about 9:30 and there was no issue getting beds. On the second week however people were leaving towels down as early as 7:30 and all the beds in the sun early in the day were gone before 10. We didn’t ever struggle to get a bed, even when we went away in the mornings on trips when we returned after lunch we could always find two beds. There’s the typical people who leave towels unattended for hours upon end but you will get those people wherever you go. People smoking around the pool on the first week was an issue for us as we are non smokers and it clearly says no smoking around the pool. We even overheard these people say they knew they couldn’t but would pretend they didn’t if anyone said anything! Ignorance. A lot of young couples and older couples staying in the hotel, a few families but very little kids. The room is standard and has everything you need, I had emailed the hotel ahead of time to ask for a top floor with a pool view and they kindly accommodated us! We had no issue with noise. The only thing we struggled with here was the beds, our backs were very stiff every morning. For the price we paid we are very happy! Would recommend!

“Great hotel but breakfast is rubbish go room only”

The hotel is spotless and well maintained and the staff very helpful and courteous. The facilities especially the pool and bar are great. The only issue here is signs stating no reserved sun beds are not policed at all so by 09.00 o'clock most mornings all the prime spots and brollies are taken yet… more

The hotel is spotless and well maintained and the staff very helpful and courteous. The facilities especially the pool and bar are great. The only issue here is signs stating no reserved sun beds are not policed at all so by 09.00 o'clock most mornings all the prime spots and brollies are taken yet the beds are not occupied until the afternoon. The only really bad point is the breakfasts, after speaking to both the reception and hotel manager that the hot food is cold. I was informed that this would be dealt with. Well that is a joke this morning I went to breakfast as it opened at 08.30 the food was in the hot trays and we were the first to take some, the usual selection of fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, onion rings and a potato flan. What can I say the baked beans were stone cold as the bacon and sausage was the only thing that was slightly warm was the fried eggs. A very poor breakfast indeed. They do not employ a chef/cook as they would not serve hot food cold. They need to employ people that can cook. We will spend the rest of our holiday buying breakfast elsewhere. Next year we will go room only as the breakfast is not worth buying for

good experience at this hotel. we booked breakfast included and the breakfast was good with variety. there was a bar and a lunch menu with lots of good options and good prices. location of the hotel was central to everything. the pool is a good size and never too busy, never had to fight for a sub bed. when we got into our room we saw our bathroom door was broken, we went to reception about it and got builders in almost immediately to fix it. my only issues was that the house keeping wasn’t the best as all they did was empty the bins and give us new towels (we got 2 when there was 3 of us) apart from that it was a great experience.

Great value hotel in a brilliant location…5min & your ties are in Cala Gran! 10min to central restaurants & 5/10 the other way. In May, no sunbed issues :-) Pool closes @ 6pm. Great housekeeping & reception staff. Nice pool bar for drinks/snacks. Ground floor apartment is a must for us & there’s plenty, plus unusually you can book GF. Rooms have been refurbished to a decent standard, but no re-wiring so sockets in bizarre places. Proper bed with additional pull-out a boon. Cala D’Or great for all ages - loads of pool tables, table tennis, putting, music & of course snorkelling in beautiful calas with the fishies! So it’s not an overly fancy hotel, but location & value of this hotel will bring us back for sure!
