So I was abit worried about this hotel due to the reviews, but we had a great time! The food was of plenty, yes it could be samey but there was steak some night, chicken breast, tuna steaks ( my partner loved) a chef cooking pasta dishes for you and plenty of options at breakfast, lunch and for desserts! The snack bar was also fab with crisps and sweets and you could get tubs of ice cream from behind the bar. Token system is a brilliant idea for drink meaning less mess around the pool and staff weren’t having to run around at the evening collecting glasses! Myself, my partner and 8 year old daughter went and never had a problem getting 3 sun beds (we went down about 8:30 each morning to put towels on beds). Yes the pools are deep my daughter can swim but not confidently and was absolutely fine with arm bands or a pool noodle! Little shop on site is great for bottled water, pool inflatables and nicnakky bits. Walk to the marina is about 10mins and beautiful we ate out there a few times - Sa Parrilla, Ciao Belli and the Chinese on the corner are a must they were all beautiful! Plenty of supermarkets around the hotel. There is two beaches close by on at the back of the hotel and one on the way to the marina both gorgeous beaches! Staff were all fabulous and the entertainment staff WOW they did not rest and were always doing something and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves! We stayed in the cortijo block facing the splash pad, the room and perfect with great aircon and walk in shower. We had a great holiday and were so glad we didn’t go by the reviews that are people expecting a 5* resort in the Bahamas!!

Spent 11 nights at the end of July into August as a family of 3 with a 6 year old and I was worried as our first peak time holiday it would be busy, crowded and loud however I am happy to report I would do it all over. Was skeptical about the drink policy at first but it was fine- my daughter would occasionally take herself to the bar and ask for another cup herself without a token or anything to return and was given a new one so it didn’t actually seem to be a problem. Also despite there only being one bar (sodas and water were self serve) never had to wait longer than 2 minutes and the wait under the air con and fans was a welcome reprieve to the heat anyway. Bar closes at 11pm and entertainment ends at 10.30pm so there is no loud rowdy crowds at silly o clock waking you up. Definitely family forward. Entertainment staff were absolute stars, from pool side to kids club and in the evenings they really were putting in the hours and effort. Yes the pools are deep, the main next to the splash park 2m30 and even the smaller ones around the resort around 1m30-70. We were lucky and acquired some floats from leaving families. Even as an adult wanting a dip in the water to cool off a pool noodle is definitely recommended. Note that balls are not allowed in the main pool. Poolside lifeguards active and actually paying attention too which was refreshing to see and hear from the whistle noises. Now sun loungers, there is very little shade available around the main pool area. There are a few fixed umbrellas but most people ended up buying their own umbrella from the shop. If you want a bed in the shade under trees do be prepared to get up and get it early DESPITE there being a sign saying no reserving beds this is not enforced and is ignored. I would be out around 8.30am and found the best beds taken though there were still plenty available in the sun up until around 10.30am. All rooms are dotted around in 3 story complexes. There are no elevators so keep this in mind with strollers and young ones. The grounds are floral, green and well kept. Food wise, I found fish options lacking though there was nothing wrong largely there was nothing to really to rave about either. You’ll find something to eat whatever you’re into. Rooms basic but comfortable and clean. We had an uninvited guest in ours which our daughter thought was the best thing having not seen a ‘real’ (wild) lizard before. Main town but around 10minute walk and beach a 2 minute stroll directly from the hotel. In all would recommend

We have just returned from a 10-night family holiday, and while we had a lovely time overall, our experience was very much a mix of outstanding positives and some disappointing aspects. The absolute highlight of our holiday was the entertainment team and, in particular, the Kids Club. Our daughter couldn't wait to go every day, and it genuinely made the holiday for her—and for us. Julia, Syria and Antonio were absolutely fantastic. They were warm, energetic, caring and made every child feel included. They are a real credit to the hotel and deserve recognition for the effort they put in from morning until night. The evening entertainment was also brilliant, with plenty going on for both children and adults. Before travelling, we were a little concerned after reading reviews about the depth of the main swimming pool. It is indeed around 2.3 metres deep throughout, which could be daunting for less confident swimmers. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there are several other pools around the hotel where adults can comfortably stand, so this wasn't an issue in the end. It's worth knowing before you travel, especially if you have younger children, but there are plenty of alternatives. Unfortunately, the accommodation didn't meet our expectations for a four-star hotel. The room was extremely small, and the balcony was also very compact, making it feel cramped for a family of three. On the positive side, the bathroom was modern, and the shower was excellent. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Although there were three of us staying in the room, only two blankets were provided on arrival. We also had to request additional pillows five separate times over four days before they were finally delivered, which was frustrating for what should have been a simple request. The biggest disappointment for us was the food. We expected much more variety and quality from a four-star hotel. There was often a limited selection available to make a complete meal, and after a few days the choices became very repetitive. Breakfast was particularly frustrating, as basic items such as coffee and orange juice regularly ran out and weren't replenished quickly. In all honesty, if it hadn't been for the freshly cooked pasta station at dinner, I think I would have struggled to find something to eat for much of the holiday. The chefs at the live cooking stations did a fantastic job, but the rest of the buffet really let the dining experience down. Overall, we had a lovely holiday thanks to the incredible entertainment team and Kids Club, who went above and beyond to make every day special. If the hotel could improve the room sizes, housekeeping standards and, most importantly, the food and drink offering, it would be a fantastic place to stay. We made some wonderful family memories, but there are definitely areas that need attention for the hotel to truly meet its four-star rating.
