Stayed here in June 2026 for 7 days and was slightly nervous due to some poor reviews. our expereience is, however, entirely positive. We checked in around midnight and there were cold cuts and drinks available in the restaurant. I found the food to be excellent with a fantastic choice of meat, fish, vegetables, pasta, rice etc which was a great relief after some of the negative reviews. The hotel complex is well laid out with 7 pools (of various sizes) set in beautiful landscaped gardens. Beds were made daily but towel changes depended whether or not you wanted them done, we didn't as we prefer to save our planet. The hotel is beautifully clean and fresh. There's only one bar but with plenty of staff the waiting times were short. There's a token system in use ( you get one token each on arrival and exchange it for a drink at the bar, when you return your cup you get either another drink or your token back) which is a great idea as it stops people getting multiple drinks, A good choice of branded spirits and the beer is San Miguel The main splash pool is quite busy and won't suit everyone but there are other options. We are in our 70's and had our 4 year old grandaughter with, she loved the main pool but was also happy to use the others. Our experience of the entertainment was limited mainly to the mini disco but we did also see a couple of good shows. Overall a great experience and would definitely return

Pepe, Jose, Gabriel and Angel were amazing bar staff and extremely friendly and helpful. They are an credit to the hotel.

Sol falco is amazing place , perfect for family . Great food , comfy rooms , beautiful swimming pool(7) and staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Starting positively, all the staff were brilliant and did their best to create a nice environment for the families. Starting positively, all the staff were brilliant and did their best to create a nice environment for the families. The pools are lovely albeit very deep (1.9m) which is what the kids water slides go into. The kids splash pad is brilliant and we were especially grateful for the smaller baby pool which was warmer. The resort is quite big with a number of pools dotted around but there is only one bar which can get quite busy. The food was honestly abysmal. Repetitive, tasteless & boring. Always some sort of pork dish, chewy beef, dry chicken, some sort of meat content in a sauce. Pigs head!? Dried out tasteless pizza every lunch and dinner. If you want to lose a few pounds, eat here for a week. I was beyond hungry every day. The only thing that was enjoyable was breakfast but you can’t go wrong with pastries, cereal & yoghurts. If you do venture out for an edible meal, I’d recommend “La Fontana” 10 minute walk away on the Harbour. The token system they have works well in my opinion, it prevents people leaving their cups everywhere in the pool area and it wasn’t time consuming or anything. Our room was ground floor and was infested with red biting ants. Multiple times we had to ask for our floor to be cleaned. The balcony wasn’t cleaned once during the week we were there. One of the days the ants were eating a cockroach alive under my 2 year olds bed. Dead ants stuck to our feet meaning we had to wear shoes 24/7. Buses to the local city come every 1 hour so time it right and don’t wait in the scorching heat for 40 mins like us. The beaches nearby are lovely but get very busy so you ought to get there early. There’s not much opportunity to do excursions unless you hire a car. Nothing to do in the area for my busy body toddler. The kids “”playroom”” near the restaurant is an empty room with a few bean bags, 2 small baby toys and a chalkboard with no chalk. Completely desolate. Not one book, not one other toy. There wasn’t enough floor staff in the restaurant clearing tables for the volume of people in & out. Boiling hot metal slides in the play area. Toilets aren’t restocked enough. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
