The hotel was in an ideal location for our cycling trip. Very good location, clean, comfortable and amazingly friendly and helpful staff.

“Return visit”

Following our first visit last September we couldn't wait to return even though this time it was only for 6 nights. The hotel is spotlessly clean with spacious well equipped rooms with modern bathrooms although storage is limited. We managed by keeping things in our suitcases on the sofa in the lounge area but this would be more of an issue if there were more than two people staying. All staff are friendly and helpful. There is occasional entertainment, usually a singer three times a week but it is difficult to get a seat in the bar area which is on the small side for a hotel of this size. On our last evening the entertainment was outside but it was just too cold. It works better a bit later in the season when the weather is warmer. Great pool area and we never struggled to find sunbeds but the pool temperature is cold. Now for a couple of negatives. The charge to hire the safe is the highest I have encountered anywhere with the exception of another Globales hotel in Menorca so this is obviously a Globales directive but approx €10 a night is extortionate. The other downside for us this year was the noticeable reduction in the quality of the food. Last year we thought it was exceptional but this time although the choice at breakfast was excellent the main meal choices were poor and often the same at both lunch and dinner. Pork was served every single day and other meat choices were low quality such as chicken wings. One evening there were cod bites which contained no fish whatsoever just a sponge like batter. The tapas style choices and salads were lovely but this year there was a limited choice of bread, no fresh bakery bread just the same 3 choices all of which was the bake your own variety. Every single day there were only half a dozen servings of butter, just huge bowls of margarine. I don't expect a 4* hotel to be replacing butter with cheap margarine. Gone were the lovely cakes just vast amounts of different coloured mousse and portions of jelly. This hotel is very much geared to adults, in fact we only saw 3 children in 6 days so why serve jelly? Opted for cheese most evenings as the desserts were poor but every single night we were offered a bowl of broken crackers. You were lucky to find more than a couple that weren't smashed to pieces. This hotel could be excellent but to maintain repeat bookings the standard of food needs to be looked at. It feels like Globales have cut the food budget by a substantial amount. If you are a big drinker it probably still offers value for money but if like us the food element is a big part of your holiday then I'm not sure it will be top of my list unless it came up as a late deal

Firstly if you are looking for great food, DON'T come here food was absolutely terrible same choice every meal everyday and same with the puddings just mouse and cold rice pudding. Firstly if you are looking for great food, DON'T come here food was absolutely terrible same choice every meal everyday and same with the puddings just mouse and cold rice pudding. We ate out most days which added to the cost on top of the all inclusive price. Suite nice but bathroom smells of sewage so brought some air freshener to exhaust the smell, no sugar replaced anytime during our stay. Not 4* would say 3*
