“Amazing holiday”

We had an amazing holiday in this hotel. We went for a week. There was 7 of us in 2 rooms. They gave us rooms right beside each other with pool/sea views which was beautiful. We booked bed and breakfast as ate out alot. The breakfast had a great selection. Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day except a thursday as was cleaners day off. Carolina had our room spotless and room smell amazing. On second day we couldnt get sunbeds together so we did have to put our towels out early on the third day but we got some later on in the day rest of week as its busier in morning so waited til after lunch to use the pool. The reception team are amazing and helped us book tickets for the safari on our last day. The entertainment is more for little ones. Our children are teenagers so would have preferred some games nights or tribute acts and maybe some arcade games in the hotel. The entertainment finishes at 10pm also which is good if you want an early night. We went across the road to minigolf after it finished. Beach towels are also provided. The holiday was amazing though and all the staff are so kind and always happy to help with a smile on their faces. Will definitely be back.

“Much needed family break”

We have returned after a week with our family the second time we have visited it meets all our expectations. We have returned after a week with our family the second time we have visited it meets all our expectations. The hotel is spotlessly clean all the staff are so pleasant and work hard to make our holiday so enjoyable. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of sun beds no sunbed wars here always beds available. We upgraded to having breakfast for us having three demanding children it worked plenty of choice etc etc. The drinks in the bar area are for a hotel very compatably priced wich ovboulsy means clients will stay and enjoy. The only criticism I would say if am been honest is as you enter the hotel guests sit and smoke you have no choice but to go through the smell of smoke. We will be returning next year most definitely and thank you for all the team that made our holiday so enjoyable.

It's been a couple of months since we stayed at the Hipotel Dunas and I just get my review done. I'll try to summarise it briefly. We are a family of five with children aged 10, 7 and 3. We stayed for 10 nights early May and we are very happy with our stay overall. The location is excellent, a really short distance from shops and restaurants, almost on your doorstep really. We stayed on the top floor in a two bed apartment self catering. The room was immaculate, and the housekeeping is excellent. The upgraded kitchen appliances and equipment are very clean and all working order. All areas around the hotel are very clean and presentable, including the games room, reception and bar etc. The Pool area was also very clean as was the pool itself. While we had sunny days, they were a little cooler and so the indoor pool was available and was excellent. It really made the holiday better when my eldest son, who can't cope with cold temperature well, so the indoor pool really made it great for him. The staff seem Happy, friendly and welcoming. The reason I have given four star and not five are just a couple of things. One the hotel cannot avoid is the hotel's position. We hadn't stayed in Cala Millor before, and enjoy some evening sunshine on the balcony, this isn't possible at the Dunas hotel unfortunately. No fault of the hotel at all, a completely unavoidable situation. But, that said, the balcony views of the pool and the sea are fantastic! We didn't eat in the buffet Restaurant, we felt the information on pricing a little confusing, probably just us. Also a little disappointed to learn on our last day, after seeing a message on the lift information screen, that we could have ordered pizza between 12 and 8 pm. We were not aware of this, and would have had takeaway pizza of we knew. We didn't use the daytime Childrens entertainment program, it didn't seem there was much happening, also some music during the day by the Pool would be beneficial to create an atmosphere, as there isn't really one. Evening entertainment for the children they enjoyed, the other entertainment was hit and miss. The service from the bar did feel slow and under-active, even though it was quiet, the staff were pleasant and friendly, but it could take 15 minutes to get a drink or ice cream in the middle of the afternoon when there's not many other people around. I would recommend this hotel for families or couples. It's right on the beach, great access into the main eating, entertainment area of Cala Millor, but just enough away for a peaceful evening. Overall, a really pleasant stay, thank you.

Just returned from a lovely week long holiday at this super hotel. We were a couple travelling with our daughter and family and had previously requested high floor rooms next to each other which was exactly what we got. We were on a self catering basis and found the rooms although a little dated extremely well equipped ( although we didn't do any cooking whilst there). There was plenty of storage and an abundance of coat hangers.The beds were very comfortable, air conditioning great and the bathroom had ample area for storing toiletries.Free safe a bonus . The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the drinks and snacks at the bar very competitively priced to bars and restaurants in the area. Pool area had lots of sunbeds and umbrellas, you got the usual reserving of beds however we only used the pool early morning and late afternoon preferring to to walk and explore the resort and we never had a problem at either time getting a bed. Although I didn't use the indoor pool and sauna my daughter and family did and said it was superb. Ideally located to walk to neighbouring resorts of Cala Bona, Sa Coma and S'Illott. All of the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend.
