It was our first visit to this hotel. On arrival greeted by the lovely Victoria and Jessica on reception. These girls were the most loveliest, helpful girls. We had an adapted sea view room on the third floor. In spite it being adapted it was not suitable for a mobility scooter. We left the scooter at the reception every evening. This was no problem at all and could charge it there. The room had a walk in shower with a folding seat and handrails next to the toilet. The view from the room was stunning. The pool areas are kept really clean and the lifeguard made a point of coming over to see us, my husband has limited mobility and she wanted us to know that there is a hoist that could be used to help him into the pool. Every member of staff were so friendly and helpful. I am a fussy vegetarian but always found something different to eat every evening. The presentation of the food and choice was great. We enjoyed where the hotel is situated, right between Cala Bona and Call Millor. Great bars, shops and promenade. Due to my husband’s limited mobility he cannot get in and out of the sea via the beach. But we found a walkway/jetty into the sea with steps he could climb down straight into the sea. This is behind the harbour, in front of LaLuna Hotel. The only negative we found with the hotel was having to choose a sitting for food in the evening. You could change it but ideally had to give 24 hour notice. Would I stay again. 100% yes. We loved it.

We are just about to leave from a lovely week at the very end of the season at the Bonamar. The staff from arrival to leaving were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Big shout outs to Victoria on reception and Mariano with his efficient running of the dining room 👍🏼 The food was lovely - the breakfasts had a great selection of hot and cold, and the buffet style evening meals were themed every night eg Majorcan, Asian, Indian, Mexican, but with still a good selection outside the themes. The service staff in the dining rooms were efficient and polite, keeping everything topped up and plates cleared. The rooms were lovely - we had 2 twin rooms with sea view and balcony and were right on the front of the hotel overlooking the pool with stunning views out to sea and the mountains to the left. Beautifully clean and well kept, the cleaning staff efficient. The only thing to mention would be that the bathroom is a glass cube within the room, but was surprisingly private and fine for couples! The lights and fan in the bathroom however work on a motion sensor which we couldn’t seem to switch off, so if you need the loo in the night you are likely to wake your room mate! We got used to it though! The bed was comfy and there were plenty of comfy pillows. Air con was good and the balcony has 2 chairs and a little table and there is a small fridge in the room, useful for keeping bottles of water in as it is not advised to drink the tap water. A hairdryer, hand wash and shower gel in the bathroom were useful extras. The pool area is a good size and always had sunbeds available. The rooftop terrace with infinity pool was a favourite spot of ours but there isn’t much shade up there if it’s hot. The entertainment was fun - we did the quiz one night and won a jug of Sangria! The hotel is perfectly located about half way between Cala Bona and Cala Millor, about 10 minutes stroll in either direction. The promenade is perfect for cycling, with lots of bike and scooter hire places around. A massive choice of restaurants and bars all along the front gave lots of eating options, but be aware if you come in October half term like we did a lot of them have already closed for the winter but as we were happy to eat in the hotel every night this wasn’t a problem for us. All in all a brilliant week in a lovely hotel, would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we were to come back here 🙂

This was our first time staying here, we had a premium twin room with private whirlpool with a stunning sea view. The whirlpool could be filled to a temperature that suits you, it takes about 30 minutes to fill up each time. Balcony was spacious with comfortable double day bed and two chairs and pool towels were provided. The room was of good size with comfy beds for sleeping, the bathroom is all glass with a privacy screen on the glass. The room was very clean and kept that way each day as cleaners worked very hard and always with a cheerful manner. All staff were very friendly and wanted to make your stay at this hotel enjoyable and relaxing. The location is perfect overlooking the sea views with both Cala Bona and Cala Millor within walking distance. Food was excellent with lots to choose from, each evening had a theme, like Italian, Majorcan and Mexican etc. Even though it was the last week before they closed down for the winter, the standards were very high and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you all for an excellent stay! Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday at a great location.

Another wonderful stay at Protur Bonamar Hotel. A cheeky five nights at the end of the season did not disappoint. We have been here four times now and had a great time every holiday. The location is perfect, between Cala Bona and Cala Millor, and the weather has been lovely, this week, with the exception of a rainy Sunday! But it wasn’t cold. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb as always, and even it is at the end of the season there was fresh salad and fruit on offer every day. The standard of food was fabulous as we have come to expect. The hotel staff are wonderful, and very friendly. I must also mention the bar staff, Manu in particular, he was always so happy, he makes everyone feel so welcome. It was like seeing an old friend again when we arrived on the weekend. Even though there were fewer residents at this time of year, Natalie did a great job of keeping us all entertained and engaged. It has been a really relaxing and enjoyable experience at the end of the season. Looking forward to coming again in the summer next year. Thank you to everyone at Bonamar, see you next year!
