Overall, this was a good hotel with a friendly atmosphere, excellent cleanliness and a good range of facilities. The entertainment duo, Moses and Miguel, were a real highlight, particularly their interaction with the younger children, and were a real asset to the hotel. The visiting entertainment was more mixed, although the Jacksons tribute was excellent. Needs more entertainment aimed at young adults to middle-aged guests. The hotel is in a good, quieter location, with a pleasant small beach just a short walk away and a beautiful seafront promenade. The bus stop is around a 10-minute walk, and the buses were very useful for getting around. There was a good variety of food, although some dishes were not hot enough, which was disappointing. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms were adequate but looked in need of redecorating if the hotel is to fully justify its four-star rating. The Turkish bath and spa were excellent. The main pool was a good size, particularly for keen swimmers, although getting a sunbed was difficult due to guests reserving them with towels and then being away for long periods. Overall, a good hotel in a pleasant location with excellent staff but the rooms would benefit from refurbishment. For me, this made it feel slightly below a true four-star standard

Rudy at reception is the absolute saving grace of this hotel and the sole reason my wife and I are rating our recent stay in Spain 4 stars instead of 3. From the very moment we arrived, he was incredibly polite, welcoming us with a genuine smile that set a great tone for the trip. His attentiveness and professionalism consistently stood out. When room service forgot to supply us with towels, Rudy sorted it out quickly and without any fuss. Even more impressively, he handled a genuine safety hazard that another staff member completely brushed off. There was a dangerous, detached pool light floating in the water. When I pointed it out to a rather moody technician who was walking around the pool area, his response was a dismissive, "I don't have time - maybe I'll do it tomorrow." I immediately raised the issue with Rudy, who took it seriously and had it sorted out right away. He genuinely cares about the guests and the safety of the resort. As for the rest of the hotel, the food in the restaurant was decent at best for the majority of our stay. Interestingly, the culinary and service standards drastically improved on just two specific days—which coincidentally were the exact days we noticed managers walking around the dining area actively assessing the restaurant. Also there is a bingo night, 12 euros to play and 1 euro for a pen to use so you can actually fill in the bingo card (you heard me right) - and there are lots of petty little things like this which makes you feel that the management aren't overlooking important aspects at this place properly. Our party of 12 booked this hotel 9 months prior based on excellent reviews and a fair price point. We had opted for the gold package as we like premium drinks. In the interim, it changed brand to a Globales Hotel. While we were not overly concerned at the time, we probably should have been. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a receptionist whose attitude was surprisingly rude and unwelcoming. There was no warm welcome, no smile, and no sense that she was pleased to receive guests. Instead, she came across as abrupt and uninterested, as though she simply wanted to finish her shift and go home. To make matters worse, after checking in one family from our group, she left the reception desk entirely, leaving the night porter to complete the check-in for the remaining families. Considering there were only three families to check in, this felt unprofessional and gave a very poor first impression of the hotel. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated incident. Her dismissive attitude and lack of customer service continued throughout our stay, making several interactions unpleasant and falling well below what we would expect from a four-star hotel. Our room allocation was very confusing. We had specified rooms to be close together especially as there were younger teens sharing. I thought because we had booked directly with the hotel 9 months previously this request would have been honoured. It wasn’t and I was placed in a room over looking shanty town. Please see picture attached. The only saving grace was that it was a quiet part of the hotel and we were not disturbed by any noise. Beds and pillows were comfy although our room wasn’t serviced everyday and even though we had hung the request on the door . So annoying to come back from the beach to shower and no clean towels. The towel situation was also a bone of contention. We received towels that in my opinion were utterly disgusting. Stained with makeup etc. The hotel operates a pool towel policy. €10 deposit per towel and €1 to change it. We weren’t expecting this from a four star resort but we had no choice but to go along with it. I made two attempts to change our towels only to be told they had no towels. Again this is completely unacceptable in my opinion. You are also charged to hire a safe in the room. We paid €45 for 10 days. All these extra add ons after paying thousands to stay n a resort was just very annoying. The food situation is average. Breakfast was very good. I always found options and it was tasty. I never had to wait for a table. Food is definitely not the worst point in this hotel. However, the quality of meat is poor. Obviously using cheaper cuts but it was somewhat grisly. The snack bar is also very poor. As are the daily treats for the kids compared with other four star all inclusive I’ve stayed in. The bar is located outside at the pool. It was normally maned by 1 member of staff. As we were on the gold package we had access to premium drinks. It wasn’t really worth it in my opinion as the offering isn’t extensive. Gold packages normally gives you complete access to all the hotel offerings but not this one. Cocktails are from pre-made jugs. If you are a wine lover, don’t come here. Wine is on tap except for the cava which is drinkable. A special shout out to Amber, Abel, Elaina. Super staff who work very hard. We had a bad situation one evening occur when I tried to get a drink from the bar on the lounge side. An older male member of staff refused to serve me in the most abrupt and rude manner. Told me to go and queue up from the pool side. It was a very upsetting incident to be spoken to so rudely. When I said I’d complain to reception, he reneged and served me . This particular member of staff ran us out of the Lounge at 12.05 one night. I understand that the bar closes at 12 but we were quietly finishing our drinks. I felt like a child being told to go to bed. It was just wild. The entertainment for adults is good. There were some good shows during our stay. Michael Jackson and Tina turner tribute. However, charging people €12 to play bingo was excessive. There are two pools. One smaller one by the spa and a large pool that you can swim lengths. This pool is like a sauna. So hot. The hotel offers a spa. Guests can use it as often as you like. We loved it as did the younger members of our group. All in all, the hotel is in an enviable location from the beach. We took full advantage of this daily with swims and snorkelling expeditions. It’s in a nice quiet area of Can picafort. All in all it’s a very average hotel that can’t even get the basics right.

This hotel was the worst out of the 8 4 stars hotel we have stayed in, in Mallorca. It was not all negative but the negatives outweighed the positives and we will not be back. Positives: our room was clean, food was good and varied, some staff were lovely, bike hire was just across the road, found loungers easily, spa was refreshing from the heat. Negatives: Large outside pool was extremely hot (far hotter than small pool) which meant not many people used it. Found out it was heated by one member of staff but the rest of Staff kept saying it was the sun which is nonsense as small pool was colder. Reported it to reception which said they would call maintenance… but not sure what will be done… no signs of anything being wrong around the pool. The 2 bingo nights were not included in the all inclusive package!! 12 euros to participate and 1 euro for a pen!! I have never seen this ever. Very disappointed. Walked away. Choice of ice cream was bad (ran out of chocolate on first day and vanilla on 4th day, so only choice was lemon). Staff told us there was a continental breakfast offered between 4 am and 6:30am if flight early: we went but it was just bread, butter and pre made plates of tuna/sweetcorn/onions etc.. no cereals, no milk, no fruit. Older member of staff at bar was extremely unfriendly, queue at bar was stretching far (not enough staff). Spa: kids were hogging some parts of the spa, not giving access to adults, reported to reception.
