A great location on the outskirts of Can Picafort, there's plenty going on but then it quietens right down for your nights sleep. The walk into Can Picafort centre is 20-25 minutes along the coast, a lovely walk indeed! We found everything about the hotel to be excellent, the staff and the facilities were excellent & I really have to emphasise that the service provided was perfect. We were half-board and found the food to be of a good quality however the hotels separate restuarant was of a much higher quality reflected in the price. There are several other restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel as well. The hotel is right on the beach so we never used the pool! The beach is perfect, lovely smooth sand underfoot whilst swimming! My only negative point would be that noise from adjoining rooms made the walls seem thin however we had no problems later on trying to sleep as the other guests were very respectful. We met lots of lovely people during our week long stay and the recurring topic was how it wasn't their first time staying at the hotel, one couple we drank with said they had been eight times! Whilst another family said they come every year as well. There's plenty of amenities next to the hotel with lots of shops right on the doorstep and the centre of Can Picafort isn't far if you want to go shopping for more. The highlight of our trip would be visiting Alcudia, we highly recommend it! An hour on the bus to Port D'Alcudia with a luscious beach then a half an hour walk up into the old fortified town of Alcudia, truly stunning. We will definitely be coming back at some point in the future!

“Very happy with the San Baulo”

We were very happy with our few days at the San Baulo. The room was spacious with a veranda and the bed was very comfortable. We found all the staff helpful and very much enjoyed the choice of food in the restaurant.

Stayed here for 11 nights Rooms good size , comfy beds , good air conditioning . Rooms were cleaned daily with clean fresh towels , we were half board and found the food of an excellent standard and choice . Stayed here for 11 nights Rooms good size , comfy beds , good air conditioning . Rooms were cleaned daily with clean fresh towels , we were half board and found the food of an excellent standard and choice . The entertainment was good , especially the U2 and friends - phenomenal . All staff were friendly and eager to help , we spent most days on the beach right next to the hotel , sun beds and shade 26 euros for x 2 all day ! I highly recommend this hotel , such a great happy place .

Let’s starts with positives as there’s far more negatives. Positives: Can walk from hotel right onto the beach Rooms have a bath and shower opposed to just a walk in shower Majority of bar staff friendly & hospitable Negatives: Ants in the room A cockroach in the room - told reception who apologised but also brushed it off. This was on day 8 of our trip n our room floor hadn’t been cleaned the entire time. I assumed after telling reception we had a cockroach in our room our room would be thoroughly cleaned. Our beds were made n bin emptied but floor left dirty. I felt uncomfortable sleeping in that room the last 2 nights. Very basic hotel; food at breakfast buffet extremely limited , rooms had kettle but no tea bags, games room consisted of 2 pool tables n a few claw machines. No play area for kids Found sharp plastic in my food - ordered spaghetti bolognese at the Baulina restaurant. Found a piece of small sharp plastic - possible from the container the bolognese was in ? Waitress apologised n offered fresh dish but I obviously refused as was put off. I was not charged for that dish. I’m just glad I found it before it went in my mouth Staff seem to be lacking in hospitality - after 2 negative expenses with the plastic & cockroach it would have been nice to receive some sort of goodwill gesture but no. Location: there’s a few bars n tourist shops around the hotel but not much else. If ur looking for things to do u will have to travel from the hotel. After paying just over 2k to stay here I would not say it was worth the money at all. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of the plastic I found in my meal but I did take a photo of the cockroach in our room. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this hotel.
