Visited for one week with husband and 10 year old boy. First time at this hotel, however we have stayed in Majorca before. The hotel rooms are okay… need a little bit of TLC but the beds were really comfy and the air con was amazing. The only downside was the noise in the early morning of the dining room chairs scraping across the floors above you. It’s so loud! The maids were great and changed towels when you needed them to. Beach/pool towels changed every other day. The pools weren’t freezing cold which was a bonus. The main pool had a swim up bar which was great. We went in peak season so the pools got very busy. Sunbeds were reserved by people very early in the morning, sometimes from 6am we noticed… it is extremely hot in August so the sun can get quite intense by the pool. The poolside kids activities were great. Lots of pool games like volleyball etc. and lots of music is played during the day. The evening entertainment was really good. A show everyday in closing magic shows, acrobats, dancing. Also bingo and family/kids quizzes. The buffet food was lovely with a really good selection. Drinks are self serve at the buffet and also an option to book other restaurants but ideally you need to do this 2 days in advance. There is a bar you can goto afterwards and they do table service when the entertainment is on. Can Picafort is a great place for the family. It has lots of shops and a lovely sandy beach. However, we prefer alcudia beach which is about 20 mins drive is much bigger and just generally a nicer beach. We visited can picafort market which was between 9-1pm. Lots of replica bags and hand made stuff, souvenirs etc. We hired a car to get around and visit slightly further beaches, but I assume local transport is easy if you want to get into town. Overall, it was a lovely family holiday and the staff work really hard there for you.

Just got back from lovely 2 week stay. We were room only so cannot comment on the food. We had a jacuzzi rooftop terrace room and it was lovely, so many comments about being too hot to enjoy them but we used ours a fair few times, when the water got too hot I asked at reception if cold water could be added, this was done that day and was then lovely to enjoy again. The room size is fabulous, no plates, bowls or cutlery if planning on self catering. I tool some plastic bowls, plates etc and was able to do breakfast and lunch on balcony with fresh bread and fruit from Aldi. We thought the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general was a small let down, room floors were very dusty/gritty (I know you walk in to rooms in flip flops generating some dust but would literally clean feet with wet wipe before leaving room putting shoes on) bathroom was not cleaned during stay, only seemed to make beds most days. Around pol area (down to guests) dropped drinks, left cups half drank, dropped ice cream not cleaned up, I know the guests should clean up themselves but some people have no respect and expect the staff to clean up for them! Pools very clean, warm water, spent hrs in them at a time with the kids. The kids loved the bouncy pillow just got to be cautious of people not using it correctly and safely (seen a few accidents on there). Sunloungers around the pool with umbrellas were being reserved from 6am onwards daily but usually beds available until about 11am without shades. Entertainment staff worked hard, park areas great for kids with trampolines, football pitch etc.. Small onsite shop has lots of essentials but as expected price of products a lot higher than in town. Overall a lovely stay, we enjoyed it and we would return just think some very small improvement in cleanliness required compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Also word of advice ensure you take mosquito repellent as all 4 of us were bitten numerous times even when wearing repellent (although reduced when wearing it)

We have had a truly lovely time at Zafiro can picafort. With all inclusive resorts I feel like most are not perfect so it's about deciding what is important for your holiday enjoyment and what things you can live with. For us the pros have been: - Food has been really good. I usually like a la carte restaurants but at Zafiro we have spent most meals at the buffet as we have found the food to be really nice and varied. There is a different nightly theme ie. Mexican, Asian, Mallorcan etc. - Animation team are really lovely people and work hard to include all kids. My daughter is an avid crafter and I felt the daily crafts could have been better but actually she loved getting stuck in with card, scissors and glue. - Rooms worked well for us. We had a 2 year old which needed naps etc so the separate sleeping are was a big bonus. We have missed having a bath tub. - the beach is lovely and warm and shallow for little ones to enjoy. - love the room key and all inclusive wrist bands - the pools are amazing for our 7 year old. - the grounds are pretty - evening entertainment is very family friendly. Cons: - Our balcony faces the road which I didn't realise when I booked. Next time I would upgrade to the swim up/ground floor rooms they looked fun. - House keeping in our room has been pretty poor. Mostly they make the beds and take the rubbish. The floors aren't cleaned, our towels are often removed and not replaced and yet they don't give you the tools to fix these things yourself (ie a dustpan and brush etc for when you inevitably pull in sand from the beach). - We have come during peak August time and there has been some queuing for drinks and food. Usually been fairly short lived but sometimes has been a little long (ie pool bar) which can be frustrating if you just want a quick soft drink. Feels like this could be reduced with a self service drinks machine (like at the buffet) and better layout of the buffet counters (one long line at the moment). That might seem like a long cons list but really we have had a lovely holidays as the cons aren't particularly important factors to us.

Hotel Review We stayed at this hotel and had both positive and negative experiences. Positive points: The room was very beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The quality of the food was also definitely a plus. For families with children, there are plenty of facilities and activities available, and the location of the hotel is very good. Negative points: Unfortunately, there were also several things that disappointed us. We regularly noticed that plates and glasses were not clean, which is an important issue. There was little to no shade around the swimming pools, making it difficult to find a comfortable spot on hot days. The hotel was also often very crowded, resulting in long queues. We also found the entertainment options quite limited, both for children and adults. For a hotel of this standard, we expected more in this area. Value for money: In our opinion, the price-quality ratio is not good. The hotel certainly has its strengths, but considering the price, we expected better service, less overcrowding, better cleanliness and more entertainment. For what you pay, we simply expected more.
