We stayed here over half term as a large group tanging in ages, including 4 Children. We all absolutely loved it here and has such a fantastic time, Kids splash pool is great, lots of slides and things to do and water shallow so kids can move around it with ease, main pool with bubble also great, not deep for adults i think around 0.7m but perfect for most children, they all loved the bubble to play on as well, floats are available in the shop and welcomed into the pool. Adults only area great also although we only explored this briefly due to travelling with children, Food selection very good and pool bar is brilliant for lunch and makes a nice change when you can get fed up of buffet. Drinks selection very fast, the “Mickey” was a favourite in our party as was the milkshakes. Kids entertainment was fantastic, ours loved the disco and the medal games and was so happy to get their medals at the end, We also loved being able to have a morning greeting with Yzzy at the stage area. All the animation team were wonderful, my daughter took a particular liking to Maria, but we also had great interactions with Lise and Alexandra, and others we missed the name of. This is not a huge resort, but i think thats what made it better, there was no rush for sunbeds, no overcrowding around the buffet, it was always very easy to find seats for dinner and the shows. Beach is around 10 minute walk with some little shops too, lovely! Would strongly recommend.

“Great family holiday location”

Excellent family hotel, we went as a three generation party at half term which was crowded and noisy but the staff cope with a smile. Reception unremittingly helpful. Excellent family hotel, we went as a three generation party at half term which was crowded and noisy but the staff cope with a smile. Reception unremittingly helpful. Rooms are large, very well equipped and kept spotless. Restaurant can be a scrum but choices are normally large and tasty. The a la carte makes a quieter change, you are allowed one alc meal per week of all inclusive. Drink selection large and ice creams available throughout the day. They remove pool towels if you are not occupying the lounger by ten. Not really enough loungers or parasols for peak times. Adult pool much more peaceful but shaped annoyingly for length swimming and all the loungers there are shaded so you cant really sunbathe. Great for a peaceful read. Beach ok at about 15 minutes away, very gently shelving. Some fish in the rocky outcrops towards the port if you are into snorkelling.

Originally booked self catering in zafiro can picafort, but had our hotel changed to zafiro mallorca by easy jet due to the first hotel not accommodating self catering (although you can still that board 🤷‍♂️). The hotel is around a 90 min transfer from the airport, and on arrival we had a huge ordeal of a check-in where the receptionist took so long to give our party of 7 (5 adults, 2 children) our wristbands and accommodation. Seemed to take a day especially after the long travel we had from home to airport, flight and transfer. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a huge bed and a double pull out bed. As we went self catering we found a local aldi for our groceries, along with the help of Google translate we managed to stock up, but ate out almost every day as no oven in kitchen, only hob, microwave, kettle toaster. We did struggle with allergens on this holiday due to our girl having a severe milk allergy (epi-pen) and shes a very fussy eater, so managed to find the burger king and some nice places to eat along the main seafront area. Cleaners come around every day to change bedding, towels and take any rubbish from kitchen areas. The resort itself isn't a huge place, quite cosy, which we liked. We did spend alot of time in the pool areas, how i dont know as it was freezing. Took a while to get used to it but you kind of just do. The pool has a toddler section 0.4m with various size slides and a bigger pool which depths are separated by the 2 bridges. There is an inflatable climb wall in the deeper end which we all loved sliding down, so much fun (be careful it does get very slippery and hurts if you fall on the climbing part). Pool is open 10-6 (with staff) but we did go in after hours, only us in there just for some extra fun. Seb the general manager is very polite and friendly and chatted to my wife when we were at the pool, and even got an ice pack for our son who bumped his eye. Lovely man. Resort does have an indoor pool, used once, lovely warm temperature compared to the outdoor and few features in there to use too (jacuzzi buttons etc). We didnt eat on site due to my daughters allergy so cant comment on the food apart from being totally put off by the male waiters in the pool bar who didnt like us being self catering, snatched an ice lolly out of my wife's hand when we were checking allergens saying he would check. No no, thats not how it works. We check. We decide. So put us off having anything from there then. The entertainment team is very good. Sports, dancing pool side which we got involved in but missing music throughout the day we thought. There are activities on 10am - 2pm for the little ones then evening starts at 8pm. Valentina was superb. Can tell she really loves her job. There is a shop on site, shuts for a few hours mid afternoon and doesn't open monday or Fridays. Can be pricey but good for onsite Necessities. Resort also has a small arcade (2 pool tables, 2 table tennis and a couple of games), a playground which the kids loved, bouncy castle and then a football/basketball court. We did really enjoy the holiday, being our children's first time abroad, but even though our daughters allergy was the main focus of our eating we would definitely look to book all inclusive on our next break so we didnt have to be out of resort as much. Check out is pretty easy but the man on check out turned his back after we paid our bill, no well wishes for our forward journey which I felt as bizarre. It seemed like we interrupted his nap at 6am. Anyway, A lovely resort overall. Would recommend .

Wonderful holiday for families! We’ve just got back from a week all-inclusive at Zafiro and had a brilliant time. The pools are brilliant - plenty to keep the kids playing all day. My two especially loved the bouncy mountain which they climbed up and slid/bounced down for hours. There’s also a pirate ship with slides and deeper sections too. Food-wise there’s the buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner and also the pool bar for lunch. The buffet was usually labelled up with allergens which was useful as one of us is coeliac and needs to eat gluten free. The pool bar menu wasn’t marked with allergens so just have to speak to the serving staff. We ate one night at the à la carte restaurant which was Italian. They catered for gluten free brilliantly and the atmosphere and food was wonderful. There is plenty of entertainment with games and activities for the children throughout the day, a mini disco every evening and a family quiz. There was entertainment daily at 9pm which was good - our particular highlight was the magic show. Rooms were comfortable with enough space for a family of 4. Beds were ok - but all push together so if you end up in the middle you may find yourself falling down a gap. The sofa bed was less comfy but we were all tired out from days of fun in the sun, we all slept fine. The beach is a 10min walk and is lovely. Overall - the kids had the best time - made lots of friends and played in the pool all day, so we had a really relaxing week. Food was a bit repetitive - would have been good to have another restaurant to mix up the options at breakfast or dinner. But overall we loved it and would return!
