A fantastic family hotel in which we felt like extended family. A la carte menu was the best we have had whilst on holiday ANYWHERE. You must go half board if you can, it's absolutely worth the extra. No fuss, no frills just excellent service throughout. Close to the beach which is 100 metres away. Most clients are returning holidaymakers. We will definitely be in that bracket. Couldn't find fault anywhere. Just book and enjoy.

“Better is not possible”

A fantastic hotel with outstanding service in a wonderful environment. No matter where you eat (from the rooftop bar to the pool bar to the lunch area) it's always great. One of the best vacations we had so far.

My girlfriend and I spent 10 days in Boutique Hotel El Coto in early May 2023. From the first minute of our stay we were met with friendly, attentive, efficient and organised staff who has answers to every question, covered every detail and for whom nothing was too much trouble. My initial impression on entry was how bright, clean and welcoming the reception area was. We were quickly provided with all we needed and were in our room within 5 minutes. We had a double room overlooking the pool and could enjoy the sounds of wind through the palm trees which has a very relaxing, lullaby effect! The pool area is like a tropical garden with a freshwater pool with plenty of comfortable seating all of which is surrounded by colourful flowers decorating the outer areas. There was never any shortage of seating by the pool which is unlike other venues we have stayed at. The bar area is easily accessible, the service was polite, welcoming and attentive. The bar and restaurant staff are an absolute credit to El Coto, they could not have been any more welcoming and made us feel completely at home. Breakfast at El Coto was a real treat with a large selection of cheeses, meats and breads with options of yoghurt, muesli and omelettes. We looked forward to this every morning. We had dinner two nights in the hotel restaurant. Again the service was top quality, we were accommodated in every possible way. We were especially impressed with the extensive wine list. The food was delicious with differing selections every night. El Coto is fastidiously cleaned every day. My ongoing impression throughout was how cleanliness was total throughout the premises. Again the staff and management have to take immense credit for their consistently high standards here. The hotel is located right next to Es Trenc beach which will make you believe that you are in the Caribbean - it has to be seen to be believed with azur waters and picture perfect sunsets.

“Superb Hotel but Room with No View”

The hotel overlooks an expanse of salt lakes and is in close proximity to the famous Es Trenc expanse of beach. The hotel overlooks an expanse of salt lakes and is in close proximity to the famous Es Trenc expanse of beach. The check-in process was highly efficient and we were provided with a car parking space in close proximity. Our superior double room was disappointing, given its outlook on to a tiny garden, containing two chairs, a small table, seven thirty-foot palm trees and surrounded by artificial-grass boards, separating us from the next room and the hotel restaurant. This was in stark contrast to the interior facilities which were impressive, as was the hotel in general, with first class food and excellent service, but the room with no view was a let down. We made a few attempts to be moved but were told, apologetically, that the hotel was full and 'we had a pleasant garden!' We would highly recommend the hotel - its staff, food, attention to detail were faultless - but beware of the room with no view.
