First time that we have stayed here and really loved it. Firstly the staff were fantastic and so friendly , on the first day we mentioned that our fridge wasn’t very cold and within 30 mins we had a brand new one. The location is just perfect , right on the beautiful beach. Our room was very clean and spacious (we had a superior room with sea view). Breakfast was lovely and evening meal was nice especially the paella however we did eat out at restaurants 50% of the time as it’s nice to be served. The evening entertainment was actually really good especially the singers. We booked a boat trip which leaves next to the hotel and was good fun and worth the money. The only thing I would mention is the sunbeds on the beach are quite expensive (€30 for two beds per day) thank you universal hotel Marqués for a lovely holiday and we will be back for sure.

Superb location and unforgettable sunset views! Pros: Location: The location is superb, with the beach right at the hotel's exit. To the left as you leave the hotel, there is Platja dels Estanys, which continues for miles of pristine beaches. To the right, there is a smaller beach, Platja D'Es Coto, which is extremely convenient if you want to jump into the sea as quickly as possible. Both beaches have fine sand and a smooth, gradual entry into the water. The Room: We stayed in a room on the top floor (6th floor) with a terrace. The room was large and spacious (34 m²), featuring a huge terrace equipped with sun loungers. The terrace was worth every single penny! Sitting there and watching the sunset was amazing, and the sea view was absolutely spectacular. I was a bit worried about the air conditioning since we were on the top floor, but it worked flawlessly and kept the room perfectly cool. Staff & Hotel: While the hotel isn't overly fancy and doesn't have a massive lobby, the staff is incredibly nice, especially the reception team. Food: We opted for half board, and the food was good. A special shout-out goes to the fresh fruit—particularly the watermelon and pineapple, which were delicious—and the evening desserts, which were well above expectations. Great Amenities: A unique and very thoughtful touch that I haven't seen anywhere else: there are drinking water stations on every floor where you can get cold filtered water. Post-Check-Out Services: Another major plus was the flexibility after check-out. We were able to store our luggage in a dedicated room and continue using the hotel facilities (the pool and sun loungers) for a few more hours. Afterward, they provided a courtesy room complete with toiletries and towels, allowing us to shower, get changed, and get ready for our trip back home. Cons: None. Highly recommended!

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff is truely the key to this hotel. From reception to Santi the repairman, everyone is super friendly and helpful. We had a lot of small issues with our room, they all got sorted in a timely manner. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable, and then the hotel was without air conditioning for nearly 24 hours. Zero compensation, unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The pool area needs more cleaning as we had small trash near us multiple days and the children running wild without adult supervision can ruin the day. Breakfast is amazing.
