Rooms Suite with sea view was a little small as the sofa was left as a bed all week which Limited the space. However, the beds in the bedroom and the sofa bed were very comfortable, as were the pillows. Lovely large bathroom with double sinks and big walk in shower. The sea view was amazing and and the balcony was a sun trap/sheltered from the wind. Lots if wardrobe space and drawers for storage. Cleaned daily and towels changed on request. Small fridge but no ice box. Nespresso coffee machine and kettle provided. Safe was free to use. Nearby activities The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the main Street. You pass the salt flats which are interesting. Hardly anything open as very early season but we knew this before we booked. The port is about a 20 minute walk away. You can walk along the sea coast for miles. Safety We felt safe during our stay. Walkability Mainly flat surroundings. A good coastal path stretches for miles. Food and drinks Quite a small selection of food on All Inclusive but good quality and usually hot. Good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic on All Inclusive. Waiter service at lunch and dinner and for the bar in the evening. Noteworthy details Lovely hotel, great views, very friendly staff. Bruno made us feel very welcome when we arrived late in the evening and took us through to the dining room where there were wrapped plates of cheese, meat, salad and fruit waiting for us - a lovely touch. We arrived around 1pm and were greeted with a friendly smile and efficiency. We arrived around 1pm and were greeted with a friendly smile and efficiency. Although we were early the rooms were ready - I got a room with a sea view second floor my daughter and her family a family room on the first floor. My room was clean, modern, smaller than usual but with every amenity. A hairdryer in a bag under the sink, fridge, safe, large tv with a very large offering of British tv channels, plenty of coat hangers, comfy beds - but with very firm pillows. No bath just a very large shower. Food was good- all five of us found something to eat at every meal. Again, as previous reviewers have commented, there’s absolutely no bringing in juice/bottles into the dining room for the little ones, as they like to sell you a carafe of water for them. I felt v castigated by a lady called Andrea (who to be fair at other times was v helpful ) who was v clear about the matter. Food was fresh, hot and varied, and the puddings a real treat! The pool area was clean, plenty of sunbeds at this time of year, and none of that daft laying out of towels to reserve beds! The pool surprisingly warmed up during the day and really wasn’t too cold. Beware the children’s pool - situated by the small playground- has a plethora of mosquitoes! The blighters are persistent and plentiful so make sure you take good strong mosquito repellent! There’s a shop 5 minutes away which sells I think most things you might need. I didn’t venture to the town, but by all accounts it was a nice place to be. The hotel was indeed full of swim teams ranging in age from around 10 to 18 at a guess. Could be noisy at the pool and certainly added to the volumes of customers at meal times, but not overly bothersome. Overall my family and I liked this hotel and would recommend to families. This is a modern 4 star hotel on the sea front. The food and service were both good. However the hotel is frequented by youths from all over the World training for international triathlon events. This is a modern 4 star hotel on the sea front. The food and service were both good. However the hotel is frequented by youths from all over the World training for international triathlon events. A kettle is provided in the room but there is nothing else, not even a cup so bring your own. Also there is no hair dryer unless I just could not find it. On the whole it is worth what we paid.
