Based on what we paid as a package with Tui then the hotel was a bargain. The room was clean if a little tired. We were B&B and there was a great selection. It got busy around 9. I recommend the omelettes, the chef was very friendly. The location is perfect for restaurants and the beach, we recommend the Piano bar which is a 2 minute walk away, great drinks and tunes, the staff were great. Don’t hesitate for a cheap week in the sun.

four friends and I visited Sol guadalupe in June 2026 for a girls party holiday and we had high expectations after hearing great things about this hotel, however im many ways we felt as though it didn’t hit the mark. First of all there were plenty of good things about this hotel- the location is very close to the strip and other shops and food places and also only a quick walk to the beach. The lobby and pool area is very nice with lots of seating inside and out, with extra sun beds up on a terrace. The room was nice- it wasn’t super modern but worked for us with a comfy bed and nice shower. The drinks are also fairly priced at the bar and things like air con and a safe aren’t charged for. In terms of what we were disappointed by- the food was terrible, we ended up skipping the buffet most nights as even the bits we liked were cold. The pool was a little cold in June as well but that’s due to the weather I think. The WiFi also didn’t work in our rooms and when we asked about it they said they would sort it out (they did not). Also on our last day we knew checkout was at 12pm, however before 10am a staff member entered our room whilst we were asleep loudly telling us to check out even though she also then confirmed it was at 12. She did not knock. Overall the staff didn’t feel very welcoming although the bar tenders were lovely. If you come to this hotel do not get half board and sleep in pyjamas because you don’t know who could be waking you up in the morning!

“Disappointed by the Lack of Flexibility in an Exceptional Situation”

I had booked a stay at Sol Guadalupe through an eDreams flight and hotel package for a trip with my son, a holiday that we had both been looking forward to tremendously. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances entirely beyond my control, I was unable to travel and therefore could not make use of the reservation. As soon as I became aware of the situation, I contacted the hotel directly to explore possible alternatives and to avoid losing the full value of the booking. I enquired about the possibility of changing the dates or receiving some form of future travel credit. While the hotel staff were polite and professional in their email responses, I was disappointed that no goodwill solution could be offered. I was informed that, because the reservation had been made through third-party intermediaries, the hotel was unable to amend the booking, issue a voucher, or provide any alternative arrangement. At the same time, I was referred back to the booking provider, leaving me in a situation where no practical assistance was available. I fully understand that cancellation policies exist and must be respected. However, considering that the reservation had been made only one day before the scheduled travel date and that the circumstances preventing my travel arose unexpectedly immediately afterwards, I had hoped for a greater degree of flexibility or, at the very least, the possibility of applying part of the amount paid towards a future stay. My comments are not directed at the hotel facilities themselves, which unfortunately I never had the opportunity to experience, but rather at the absence of a customer-focused solution in what was clearly an exceptional and unforeseen situation.
