This was my first trip to Mallorca and it was a fabulous experience. The hotel just opened in 2025 so everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. I am an interior designer and the uniqueness of the spaces, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The pool, surrounding seating areas and the dining room were all gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful with local suggestions. The location was walkable into town and the local beach. I would recommend a stay at the beautiful Aethos Mallorca.

This hotel opened during summer 2025, so almost brand new. The entrance/lobby area does not give a 5* impression, however, if you look passed that you will get the 5* feeling very soon. The room, we chose one with sea view and large terrace, was nicely decorated with a cozy feeling. View is really nice. Mini bar with a good selection is always appreciated. Hairdryer from Dyson is also a pluss. Bed linen very nice. And also the amenities in the bathroom. Fitness room with all the equipment and machines you need. Gym is fresh and spacious. Staff is very friendly and service minded. Outside area is really nice. Pool area very fresh with majestic views over the bay. There is also a roof top area. The restaurant Onda on site was great for dinner. Breakfast served on the same place. Great views and a nice a la carte menu. Great hiking possibilities nearby and the coast line is really beautiful. Been visiting Mallorca a lot, and this is one of the nicest places I have been to. Would come back for sure.

From the moment we arrived, Ari brought a level of care, calm, and genuine hospitality that completely elevated the experience. She was friendly, attentive, and completely in tune with what we needed — without ever being intrusive. That rare mix of professionalism and warmth is something you just don’t find every day. The food and drinks were fresh and enjoyable, the poolside vibe was chic yet laid-back, but it was Ari who made the entire experience feel effortless and personal. Her thoughtful recommendations and intuitive service turned a casual lunch into something unexpectedly memorable. If you’re heading to IKAT Pool Club, ask for Ari. We stayed at Aethos Mallorca to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and while many aspects of the hotel were truly wonderful, some areas fell short of expectations for a five-star property. What stood out positively: The design of the property is stunning – created in a Contemporary Mediterranean style, embodying “quiet luxury” where modern design meets natural materials and authentic Mediterranean charm. The overall atmosphere is calm, refined, and elegant. The infinity pool deserves a special mention – absolutely breathtaking with unbeatable views over the sea and mountains. It is one of the most memorable highlights of the entire stay. The service from the Guest Relations team was exceptional – especially Martina and Keyth, who I had been in contact with before our stay. They went above and beyond to fulfill all my wishes and came up with their own thoughtful ideas to make my partner’s birthday truly special and unforgettable. I would also like to thank Estefania, who assisted me with the booking and room arrangements before our arrival. She was extremely kind, attentive, and service-minded, making sure our stay started perfectly. Breakfast was outstanding, offering both a buffet and à la carte menu – honestly one of the best we have ever had at a hotel in the Mediterranean. I also want to give special praise to Valeria, a pool bar waitress who stood out with her natural sense of service, genuine warmth, and hospitality. She not only took great care of us but also gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit nearby. A true gem of the team! The reception could definitely take note and share more of this kind of useful local information proactively. Where improvements are needed: Breakfast service was very slow. Waiting 15 minutes for a coffee should not happen at this level. Pool bar service overall was inconsistent. The cocktail menu is very limited, and drinks were prepared differently depending on who made them – more like a cheap all-inclusive than a luxury boutique hotel. Presentation and consistency need serious improvement, as does the outdated drink list. Only one playlist played on repeat at the pool. Pleasant music, but too monotonous for a hotel of this category. In the room, there were no hooks by the entrance and only one in the bathroom. Small details, but important for guest comfort. At check-in, we were told the rooftop bar was open, only to discover the next day that it was closed for the season. Better communication is needed. Restaurant ONDA was unfortunately the biggest disappointment. The idea of using local, high-quality ingredients is excellent, but execution in both the kitchen and service falls far short of a five-star standard. The menu is short and should be easy for the staff to master, yet the service team seemed unprepared. On our first night, one main course was served complete while the other (fish) came with nothing at all – no sides, no explanation. We had to order additional side dishes afterward, which should never happen at this level. The lack of sauces or accompaniments left dishes dry and uninspiring. For our special birthday dinner the following evening, expectations were high – but sadly not met. The waiter rushed us by immediately trying to take the main course order before we had even chosen starters or wine. The grilled meat (ordered medium-rare) arrived undercooked and was presented identically to the chicken dish from the previous night – sprinkled with coarse salt and chili flakes. The sauce we had specifically requested was forgotten at first, but after reminding the staff we did receive it. Still, it should never have been overlooked in the first place. The “Greek salad” was shocking – half a head of lettuce with tomatoes and feta drowning in excessive oil. Service was painfully slow. Even when we were the last guests, it took ages to bring the bill and the “surprise” birthday cake, which unfortunately tasted like nothing more than a prop. The result was a disappointing and stressful dinner – something that should never happen when paying €50+ per main course in a luxury setting. Conclusion: Aethos Mallorca is a stunning hotel with incredible potential. The design, infinity pool, Guest Relations team, and breakfast were truly outstanding. Martina, Keyth, Estefania, and Valeria deserve special recognition for their warmth and professionalism. However, the inconsistency in service, poor pool bar experience, and the serious shortcomings of Restaurant ONDA made our stay bittersweet. With significant improvements, this could easily become one of the very best hotels in Mallorca – but at present, it does not live up to its promise. We would love to return in the future and sincerely hope that our next visit will be a truly exceptional experience.
