“Great hotel”

Lovely hotel great breakfast buffet..comfy rooms..good showers and air-conditioning in rooms..reception staff were fantastic. Pools and everywhere in hotel well looked after and cleaned all the time...looking forward to coming back next year

Having read the reviews I was a little nervous about what we’d find but the hotel was absolutely great and superb value. Our triple room with a balcony in block 4 was big and spacious, spotlessly clean and very pleasant for the week! The staff were friendly and the location was excellent. We appreciated the free municipal parking next to the hotel but it may well be full in busier months. We ate several times at the buffet..it was good value, the food was excellent and the gentleman was really kind and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again, don’t let the bad reviews put you off!

“PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING - VERY DISAPPOINTED !”

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the man in the dining room who checks guests when they enter for breakfast and dinner. He wore a black shirt and no name badge, which seemed unprofessional. His attitude towards guests was rude and disrespectful. On one occasion, he followed me into the corridor and took away a raisin bun that I had not finished. He was shouting that's not allowed. This was embarrassing. I had planned to send my mother and grandmother to this hotel for a birthday celebration in August, but because of the shameful and unprofessional behavior of the man in the dining room, I changed my mind. Housekeeping was also below expectations. After five days, I asked reception to change our bed linen. I would also like to point out that we were not expecting exceptional service. During our 9-day stay, we had breakfast at 7:30 every morning and then left the hotel to explore different parts of the island and visit various beaches, returning only for dinner. We spent very little time at the hotel. However, even a simple request to have our bed linen changed was ignored. After asking again, the bed was simply made up, but the sheets were not changed. During our stay, the room was barely cleaned, and twice we had to go to reception ourselves to ask for toilet paper because it had not been replaced. The reception staff and some dining room staff were often unfriendly and lacked basic customer service skills. On the positive side, I would like to thank the gardening team for keeping the hotel grounds beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen team also deserves appreciation for their hard work and the quality of the food. Huge shout out for Laura Marin. She was kind, professional, and excellent at her job. ( this person had a badge ) We would also like to recognize the tall handsome young gentleman in the white shirt (without a badge), who sometimes helps to take plates he was so polite, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. We travel frequently and almost all of our previous hotel reviews have been positive. Unfortunately, this hotel left a very negative impression. Before booking, future guests should be aware that the service quality does not match the standards we expected.

We have just returned from a week in this hotel. We’ve stayed twice previously and I agree with other comments that things are starting to look tired and dated now. Paintwork, furniture and carpets all need updating . Should be a 3 not 4 star. On our first morning to our total disbelief we were told there are only 10 Cereal bowls available and we had to have our muesli in a cofffee cup and on a plate . In the evening people were eating ice cream on plates . What on earth was this about???? Never seen anything so ridiculous in all my years of travelling. I asked the manager and they said bowls were ordered in march and they were still waiting. But it beggars belief why nothing at all has been done to remedy this in the mean time . I went to a supermarket and bought my own bowl to eat breakfast in a four star hotel . Ludicrous.!!!!!!!!
