We spent the Easter weekend at this hotel on an all inclusive package booked via Jet2. We had a really good experience. Check in was super welcoming and friendly. All staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel was clean and well kept and we were happy with our room - a little on the small side but clean, modern and comfortable. A super view from the ninth floor was a bonus. The bathroom had a good shower. The area the hotel was in was a little run down in places but we knew this from our research - we wanted to be in easy reach of Palma - the bus right outside the hotel took us into Palma for 2 euros and ran frequently even over the bank holiday. The all inclusive food was very good - the only slight issue was no labelling for allergens or sensitivities. Also no obviously available alternative milks and most dessert contained cream. I assume if I’d asked they could have sorted this but I think they could cater for gluten free and lactose sensitive customers better. Otherwise a really good few days here, we would return.

“Excellent stay, clean hotel with wonderful staff.”

Booked a last minute 4 night stay. On turning up at 22.30 we enquired if there was anywhere to eat. Booked a last minute 4 night stay. On turning up at 22.30 we enquired if there was anywhere to eat. Immediately the reception staff took our suitcases and told us to go to the restaurant quickly as they had snacks on till 11. The reception staff were wonderful, helpful and polite. Explained where everything was within the hotel. We were all inclusive, drinks were lovely and the food was too. Every member of staff that we met were lovely. We took the shuttle bus from the hotel (which was free) into Palma Nova for a few hours. Nice touch by the hotel. Taxis were plentiful too and from the hotel. Pool was cold, however the weather was lovely ...plenty of sunbeds. A relaxed hotel.

My daughter and I stayed in this Hotel for a week recently. The staff were very nice, food lovely, bedroom comfortable and the Hotel was very clean. I will definitely return.

Just had a lovely two weeks at the BQ Belvedere hotel. Couldn’t really fault anything about it. The hotel is very clean and the rooms have everything you need including a nice spacious shower with doors that actually close properly and don’t leak! The restaurant is quite civilised for such a large hotel and most people were fairly well mannered when choosing their food at the buffet stations. We enjoyed our meals as quite a bit of thought has gone into the menus instead of just opting for the blandest cheapest dishes. They offer a varied choice with nice little extra touches that you don’t always get. The fruit is always peeled and sliced making it easy to put into a bowl with yoghurt at the buffet station instead of having to faff about peeling and slicing at your table, and lots of nice seeds and nuts to choose from. There was always a proper roast meat every night and even the pasta dishes were very tasty and varied compared to just the usual tomato sauce slopped onto a dry looking pasta offering that is quite often the norm. No cheap little squares of sugary cake here either - it’s proper tasty carrot cake, apple strudel and pastries, or several options of nicely layered mousse and sorbets with fruit pieces. Even the ice creams were different flavours such as almond, mango and pistachio. For the price we paid we were very impressed with the catering. Also the bar prices were very reasonable for a 4* hotel. Although we weren’t impressed with Palma Nova itself we did appreciate the hotel’s free courtesy bus to get us there that gave us a change of scenery on a couple of days. The local urban buses are brilliant too… efficient, cheap and just across the road! We walked up to Genova and visited the caves, walked down to the port at Palma, walked over to some of the prettier coves at Illetas, did the touristy, but must do, vintage train to Sóller and took advantage of the free entry on a Sunday to Bellver Castle as well as the free gardens at the Marivent Palace… both would have cost a fortune for entry in the U.K. Yes, the steps are a bit of a ‘killer' but we’re 69 and 73 of only average fitness and we managed ok - it got us into training for the 450 steps from the road to the castle that seemed easy peasy in comparison! Now your challenge is to see if you can find the pond in the pine forest that’s filled with lots of wild turtles swimming that we came across on a walk only about 15 minutes away - we suspected that not many of our fellow guests would have had a clue they were there. We have had brilliant weather throughout for April and if you don’t mind walking, catching public transport or hiring a car then you can’t go far wrong at the Belvedere. The staff were always efficient and obliging throughout all departments, and all seemed happy in their roles.
