The apartment which I occupied at the end of January 2019 is very nice and comfortable. Albeit it's on the first floor it's very peaceful since it's rather adequately isolated, in such a way that it can be deemed soundproof. There is in the apartment everything needed in order to have an excellent stay. As already pointed out, the comfort is one of its outstanding features, particularly in the bedroom. The bed is conveniently arranged thus having a mattress whose toughness is the most adequate one to allow one to have the best possible sleep. The rest of the furniture is also very good. Everything in the kitchen works properly as well as in the bathroom. The manageress, responsible for all housekeeping duties, is very kind and helpful as well as the maid. It's a pleasure dealing with them. Besides, the apartment is decorated with much taste thus making the atmosphere inside cosy and pleasant. The pictures are very aesthetic as well as the other decor elements, especially a little niche embedded in the wall over the television set, a very peculiar one containing a vase and two cardboard boxes. It's really something extremely agreeable at sight. As far as the location is concerned, the apartment building is in the very city center, at two minutes walking from Plaza de Cort, the square where the town hall lies, and at eight minutes from the cathedral; very close to the historical center of Palma. The views one can enjoy from the apartment are beautiful and interesting. Most of them are art nouveau building façades at the point where carrer Colom, carrer Jaume II, carrer de les Monges, Plaça del Marquès de Palma and carrer de la Bosseria istelf – that where the apartment building is situated – meet, and also in the last mentioned street on the side opposite to that of the apartment concerned. They are wonderful façades in which the balconies and bay windows are outstanding. In the apartment which was allocated to me there is a closed gallery where one can sit down for a while, maybe at breakfast time, and contemplate such remarkable architectural marvels from the beginning of the twentieth century in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. On the basis of the foregoing, therefore, it's a place by all means recommendable, which may no doubt contribute to make anyone's stay in the capital city of the Balearic Islands pleasant and memorable.
