We had an amazing trip, filled with many laughs and lots of sunshine. ☀️ The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful during our stay and the pool, rooms and food were at an incredible standard. It is also very close to the beach , so created the perfect blend between a beach holiday and pool holiday. Shoutout to some of the staff that made our trip extra special,( Yolanda, Santiago and all the Bar Staff)

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 11 month old. Overall the hotel has some lovely areas and is well maintained. The bar has some spectacular views over the beach, and staff were all friendly and attentive. We upgraded to a family room for the extra space and the sea view. A travel cot was provided and this was great for us. Although the room size was great and the view breathtaking, the room itself fell short. In need of some TLC, plugs & lamps not working, fridge not cold enough, and the bathroom had no ventilation which made everything damp and mouldy. We also had an issue with our shower and the shower tray which wasn’t fixed even though staff were informed multiple times. We stayed all inclusive, although I wish we just went bed and breakfast, as breakfast was the best meal of the day, and lunch and dinner fell short in our eyes. Dinner service started at 18.30, which was late for us with a small child. It was also a shame that the restaurant had no view whatsoever, despite the hotels excellent location. Beer, wine, and soft drinks were all included and self serve in the restaurant which was good. I was a bit wary of the pool area being on a public path, but this didnt actually bother us that much. The pool area itself needs some repairs, there were broken steps, some pool ladders seemed unsafe and a lot of the sunbeds were damaged. The sunbeds are all crammed in and the parasols fixed to the floor, so unless you were queuing for the pool Guys to open the pool, it was difficult to get sunbeds with a parasol. With a baby, we needed the parasol, and although signs state no reserving beds, we found around half of the beds that were reserved didn’t even have anyone on them. We asked the lifeguard if it was possible for a parasol and he just said no, they cannot be moved. The pool itself was lovely, the entertainment team were friendly and the view is excellent. The bar area often got busy (as to be expected). I don’t mind queuing at all, however the bar was often understaffed and even when a long when was forming, sometimes one staff member would just be drying cups rather than serving drinks. Soft drinks and spirits were included along with cocktails, however these are out of a machine and taste watered down which is very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Other reviews did mention the hill at the front of the hotel, and although steep, we found ourself using the pool exit direct to the beach path on most occasions. The location of the hotel is brilliant, everything is walkable and we didnt struggle with a pram at all in the resort. Overall, despite the great location and beautiful views, we don’t feel like it was value for money, nor a 4 star hotel in our eyes. Maybe if we stayed self catering or bed and breakfast, it may have been more value for money. With bathroom improvements and a few repairs, the rooms would be excellent, but as it stands we were disappointed with our stay. Staff lovely (even if our shower wasn’t fixed), location perfect, facilities lacking.
