From the second we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends rather than guests. Every single member of staff was incredible, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were actually told, “Once you’ve stayed at Pikes, you’re family.” We laughed… then realised they were absolutely right. A huge thank you to Nick, who took us on a little tour of Freddie’s while those disco lights were being set up for the season. Seeing such an iconic room come to life before the party starts was one of those magical little moments you just don’t get anywhere else. I’m in my forties, so I remember the Club Tropicana video first time around. Pikes has always had mythical in my mind, so before visiting I read Tony Pike’s autobiography. It made wandering around the hotel even more special. My husband is a stonemason who loves historic buildings, so between Tony’s stories and the incredible character of the place, he was in his absolute element (inspecting stonework while everyone else was eyeing up the cocktails!). What makes Pikes so different isn’t just the history—it’s the people. The warmth, the humour, the complete lack of pretence… it’s like staying at the world’s coolest friend’s house, if your friend happened to have legendary parties and decades of Ibiza history tucked into every corner. We loved it so much that we’re already coming back next week. Bushwacka was meant to be playing during our April stay, but he cancelled at the last minute. We took it as the universe giving us an excuse to return, plus this time we get to go to 528! Be warned… Pikes sets the bar ridiculously high. Ordinary hotels just don’t stand a chance after this place. See you all next week… save us a cocktail! 🍸

“Fabulous Sunday roast into fun evening. Great food, wonderful staff and fabulous location”

We had a wonderful Sunday roast at pikes restaurant at the weekend. The food was lovely, and fabulous roast potatoes and beef. Could do with a bit more veg and parsnips but everything else was fabulous! The atmosphere is always awesome and a must book for dinner when you're here. We love coming h… more

We had a wonderful Sunday roast at pikes restaurant at the weekend. The food was lovely, and fabulous roast potatoes and beef. Could do with a bit more veg and parsnips but everything else was fabulous! The atmosphere is always awesome and a must book for dinner when you're here. We love coming here. The staff are always great and really fun! We also had a good chat with the chef and he was lovely, even given how hot it was and they were working so hard in the weather. It led on to us staying and having a wonderful night in the evening. Thanks as always Pikes. We will be back soon

“Nice place BUT - Limited security staff in the outside areas”

Went to Pikes with some friends, we were having a great time. However I think they bank on the over 27s crowd behaving as adults - and this isn’t the case - I had an incident (a guy took my chair from under me as a “joke” and I fell and hurt myself, it totally ruined my night for some idiots idea … more

Went to Pikes with some friends, we were having a great time. However I think they bank on the over 27s crowd behaving as adults - and this isn’t the case - I had an incident (a guy took my chair from under me as a “joke” and I fell and hurt myself, it totally ruined my night for some idiots idea of a laugh) it was an older guy who was with a big group - and we left after that as it wasn’t so fun anymore. A small incident - yes it was. I told the staff and they took it seriously and were really nice at the entrance (as I was waiting for my friends to leave). But if they had more security present in the outdoor spaces, this may not have happened. Also that group should have been asked to leave. I feel like the whole place is an accident waiting to happen - and usually I don’t care about these things. But I do wonder if they have enough properly trained staff to manage this place.
