We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our family holiday in Mallorca. We traveled with my husband and our two children and we were very impressed with the accommodation. Our family suite consisted of two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms which gave us plenty of comfort and privacy. The food was excellent with a great variety of dishes every day. Everything was fresh, delicious and of a very high standard. We would also like to especially thank our housekeeper, Alejandra. She cleaned our rooms thoroughly every day and paid great attention to every detail. Her work was outstanding and made our stay even more enjoyable. The entire hotel was maintained at a very high level, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Everything exceeded our expectations. These were the best holidays we have ever had, and we will always remember our wonderful time here. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect family vacation in Mallorca. A Lovely, clean hotel with spacious rooms and a nice variety of food that changed regularly throughout our stay. It’s close to the beach, not far from local shops and restaurants and the evening entertainment team were fun and had various activities on each night. The thing that stood out for us the most however was the staff, who couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived they were kind, accommodating, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Hotels Playa de Muro Suites, We thoroughly enjoyed our recent four-night stay at your hotel. The property is excellent, and its proximity to the local shops and bars was very convenient. The hotel was clean and welcoming throughout our visit. Our children loved the swimming pools, and our rooms were amazing and maintained to a high standard by the daily cleaning service. We especially want to thank your staff, who were always professional, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you for providing my family with such a wonderful stay. We stayed at Mar Hotels Playa de Muro Suites for 4 nights as a family of 8, ranging in age from 11 to 72. We booked 2 double suites and 1 single suite on an all-inclusive basis. The double suites worked really well for our families of 3, with a separate bedroom, sofa bed in the living area and 2 bathrooms, which made getting ready much easier. Rooms were cleaned daily and were always kept to a good standard. There was also a fridge in the room and water refill machines on each floor, which was really useful. We arrived late on the Thursday night and the hotel had left sandwiches and fruit in the rooms for us, which was appreciated after travelling. Unfortunately, they seemed to have been left out for quite a while as the sandwiches were stale and warm, so we didn’t end up eating much of them. The restaurant food was one of the highlights of the stay. There was plenty of choice every night and we always found something to suit everyone in the group despite the wide age range and different tastes. Drinks were more mixed. Beer and wine were perfectly fine, but the spirits tasted extremely watered down and weren’t really worth ordering. The hotel itself is split into two sections. One side has the reception, rooms and main pool, while the other side of the road has the kids’ pool, another bar and the entertainment building (which we believe is also where the kids’ club takes place). This layout was a little frustrating at times as some of our group wanted to use the kids’ pool, meaning we often ended up sitting separately and crossing the road frequently throughout the day. We travelled during a quieter period and still found there weren’t enough sunbeds around the main pool, so I imagine this could be difficult during peak season. There were more sunbeds around the kids’ pool, but obviously that area is much busier and louder with younger children. The staff overall were good and helpful, although a handful came across a little grumpy at times. One thing that several guests seemed frustrated by was the bar opening times. Each bar had different hours - the main pool bar was open roughly 10am-6pm, the reception/lobby bar closed around 10pm and the bar across the road stayed open later. Some evenings we wanted to sit in the quieter lobby area playing cards and chatting away from the evening entertainment, but once the lobby bar closed you had to keep going across the road for drinks. We noticed quite a few guests commenting on this, especially as 10pm feels fairly early for an all-inclusive hotel. The location is good, with plenty of shops and bars nearby and the beach is only a very short walk away. Check-out being at 12pm was also a big positive for us as our transfer wasn’t until 1pm, so we were still able to enjoy the morning by the pool and freshen up before heading to the airport. One final thing worth noting is that the sea view rooms get the sun in the morning, but by lunchtime the sun moves to the opposite side of the hotel. If you like sitting on your balcony in the later afternoon/evening sunshine, it’s probably worth requesting a room on the other side. Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel has some strong positives, particularly the food, location and family room setup, but there are also a few practical issues worth being aware of before booking.
