We had a wonderful week’s stay at Valentin in Playa De Muro. The hotels grounds are beautiful, with two of the biggest olive trees I’ve ever seen. Everything is well kept and the pool was always really clean. Sunbeds were never an issue, plenty for everyone to use. Rooms are lovely, a little bit on the smaller side but still wouldn’t put me off staying again. The only thing I think would make the rooms even better is a full length mirror in the bedroom (definitely room for this on the wall!) & then some drawers in the wardrobe and bedside tables. Just for some extra storage to put your stuff! Travel cot for our 1 year old was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. We were all inclusive and wow it was so worth it! Our mini fridge was stocked up and refilled everyday with waters, beers, juices, Fanta, Coca-Cola. We even had a complimentary small bottle of cava with some champagne flutes delivered to the room - such a lovely touch! The food was incredible, so many amazing options at the buffet morning and evening. I have a nut allergy but the chefs were so friendly and helpful (particularly Yolanda!). They talked me through what I could and couldn’t have which I could eat pretty much all of it every night! Then the lunches were amazing, on the terrace by the pool and you could choose whatever you liked from the menu. The burgers were amazing! Our daughter particularly enjoyed a spaghetti bolognaise which they were happy to make a child size portion for her. Lovely cocktails and alcoholic beverages too! Reception were super helpful and there was a doctor which they could call for you who came to your room, this was so reassuring as a parent. A special mention to all the amazing staff in the restaurant, pool terrace, bar and around the hotel. They were all so amazing, so helpful, kind, lovely and were amazing with our daughter. They made our stay feel so homely and brightened our day everyday. We were so sad to say goodbye to them! Overall for our first family holiday, we couldn’t have chosen a better place. If you’re considering staying here then absolutely do it!! You won’t regret it! Just remember to take some mosquito repellent as there are quite a lot around with it being in a nature reserve. “Perfect Place to stay for a lovely relax near the Beach”

Beautiful place with everything you need. The Bungalow is nice and big everything is very clean. The staff all around is amazing. The food is really nice and you have a lots of choice (Buffet). When we are in Mallorca we always stay at Valentin for few days.

We’ve just returned from a weeks holiday at Valentin De Muro and had a fantastic stay, we would highly recommend this hotel and struggle to think of any negatives! We stayed in a golden bungalow which was modern, clean and comfortable. The rain shower was amazing! We had a nice terrace area and although it was in the shade it was nice to relax there after a day in the sun, it also had a drying rack which was handy for hanging beach towels and swimwear. Housekeeping visited every day and they were always very friendly and helpful. We had considered a golden superior bungalow at time of booking but decided against paying an additional £400 for what the only difference appeared to be was a hot tub, we weren’t sure if it was a correct choice but during our stay we had a look at what we were potentially missing and found the extra money just for a hot tub probably wasn’t worth it in our opinion. The location is excellent. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel making it easy to explore the island. We took the bus from the airport which was approximately £8 each way and took around 1 hour and 10 minutes, quite a nice way to see other parts of the island on an air conditioned bus, saving a small fortune on taxi fees. There is a large Eroski supermarket 10 minutes walk along the main road (we found a pathway through the trees beside the road). The beach is an easy 10-minute stroll away (see aerial photo), along a wooden walkway through pine trees once you’ve crossed the road. A lovely clean beach with crystal clear water and stunning views. There are sun beds and umbrellas available for hire, and some beach bars around a 10 minute walk along the beach towards C’an Picafort. There are two swimming pools, one for relaxing and kids, and the other for lane swimmers. The lane pool is advertised as 25m long but it certainly isn’t, we worked it out to be around 15 meters. There are Bali beds around the lane pool and it was much quieter there so we mostly used this pool and relaxed around it too. We booked half board (breakfast and dinner) and the food was incredible, fresh and well stocked up no matter what time you visited. There was a different theme each night (Mexican, sushi, etc), but also a wide selection of other food if you didn’t like the themed option. A chef was cooking fish and meat every evening, and in the morning they would be cooking omelettes, pancakes etc to order. For breakfast there were many hot and cold options. The dessert table was delicious with a wide selection every night. You have to pay for a drink each night, we thought water could be included at least. Another niggly thing was that the coffee pods aren’t replaced in the daily room service, we had to ask reception each time we wanted more pods and these were charged to the room at 50 cents per pod. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and efficient. Special mention to Gareth who was very entertaining, especially when the entertainment was on in the evenings! If we had to find a downside, it would be that some of the entertainers in the evenings were a little too pushy, trying to make guests sing or dance when many of us just wanted to sit back and enjoy the show. On one occasion it felt uncomfortable enough that we left earlier than planned, as did several others. Overall, our stay was wonderful. The hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday—great location, comfortable rooms, excellent food, and welcoming staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Valentin De Muro and would happily return.
