This hotel has an excellent location, beach/shops/restaurants within a few minutes walk. Mini Train to Marina and Town which are both fantastic and worth a visit, especially the lovely beach bar at La Petita beach. The hotel is a quick 5 min walk to the Fort for fabulous views. 1 bedroom apt was better than expected, clean and did the 4 of us perfectly. Ok its not new & modern but was adequate for our needs. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day was a bonus. We were worried about reviews prior but needn't have as the food was lovely for a 3 star and what we paid, with something for everyone, breakfast and the cakes were my favourite. Clean tables for all meals, empty plates cleared quickly and a snack bar if you didnt want to go into the restaurant that had nuggets/burgers/hotdog sausages. The availability of drinks on tap was wonderful. Cruz Campo beer, Sangria, Red, White & Rose Wine, Fanta Orange & Lemon, Coke, 7Up, sparkling & still water, spirits from the bars with a Coffee machine anytime for latte, Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate. It's 1 Euro plastic beaker system worked well meaning no mess anywhere. Great service on reception for check in and helpful when needing help with any problems. The animation team and daytime entertainment programme was amazing. The evening magician, parrot show and flamenco dancers were fantastic. My only gripe would be that as the poolside is used of an evening it could do with more regular cleaning as was a bit dirty which made the main pool also a bit dirty at times which also needed more regular cleaning. However the smaller pool was spotless and a great depth of 1.10 metre perfect for my 7yr old grandson who spent all day doing backflips and handstands. He also loved the bigger pool that was varied in depth from 1.20 to 1.75 metre. This is a hotel i would definitely return to, I haven't said that about most hotels I've visited over the years, so thank you La Mirada you've got it all and thank you for a fabulous week xx

We booked this hotel for a family holiday for my daughters 21st and it did not disappoint. Just a short walk into Cala d'Or centre, plenty of bar, restaurants shops, also only a 15 minute walk to the Marina or 5 euros in a taxi. The majority of the staff are fab, helpful and polite (couple bit miserable at the poor bar). I emailed the hotel before we arrived as we wanted to order a cake big shout out to Damian (restaurant) and Xicso (Reception -hope i got name right!) they were fantastic sorted it all and brought out to the pool bar at the right time! Cant thank them enough. Kevlin is a stand out lady always smiling wether in the restaurant or behind the bar - top girl! Rooms were good, clean and air conditioned. My only grip was I dont agree with people being able to eat by the pool - chips on the floor and someone had had popcorn which was all over the floor with the empty boxes - clearly some guests dont know how to use a bin! Overall would recommend and this would not put me off going back - top marks to the hotel!

We have just got back from a week’s stay at this hotel. Prior to booking I had read the reviews so I was a little worried. Let’s start with the good bits. We have just got back from a week’s stay at this hotel. Prior to booking I had read the reviews so I was a little worried. Let’s start with the good bits. Great location situated near some great bars and restaurants. 8 minute walk to the marina or could take the road train. Also close to the beach. Plenty of sun-beds and pool not overly busy. Staff were helpful and hotel clean. The animation team worked hard and I cannot comment on the evening entertainment as we went out most nights. Things to note. We were on the ground floor and ants were a problem. Luckily I had read a review about this so went armed with ant spray. You need to pay one euro to get a plastic cup for your drink which is refunded when returned. The same for plates needed for the snack bar. The food in the restaurant was ok but not for fussy eaters. Overall we had a lovely holiday. Would we go back….possibly.

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel,some of the reviews were a little worrying but it was fine.You get what you pay for and this was value for money.Rooms were not modern but you had everything you needed and very clean.The food was what you expect for the price of all inclusive.Plenty of sun beds ava… more

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel,some of the reviews were a little worrying but it was fine.You get what you pay for and this was value for money.Rooms were not modern but you had everything you needed and very clean.The food was what you expect for the price of all inclusive.Plenty of sun beds available very close to beach and shops and bars ,easy access to other areas with a road train and buses.You have to pay 1 euro deposit for plasic beakers which is a good idea as then people dont leave them scartered around for the staff to clear up and you get your money back at the end.Staff are helpful if you have any problems,all in all a great stay.
