Ignore the 1 star reviews, even with the ants and food choice, that is way too harsh..Over all we had a lovely stay, the location is really good, literally 2 minutes walk to calo de es pou a stunning little beach, and there are others near by too, there are loads of lovely shops and restaurants just up the road. Transfer to the hotel was very long, well over 2 hrs, as we were the last drop off, we would definitely get a private Transfer if we go again.. we got to the hotel after 11pm and they had some cold food options available for late check ins.. checking in is a bit of a faff, you do it yourself via a QR code, you'll need your holiday confirmation at hand, your room key is on your wrist band too which is handy, Our room was clean and fresh on arrival and the air conditioning was good in our room. We were on the first floor and had a garden with table, chairs and sun loungers. We did get some ants in, but they were manageable, some on the kitchen counter near the hobs and sink, and a few in the wardrobe in the bedroom but we just wiped them away with insect repellent wipes, just dont leave any food or drink about and it should be fine, Tiles across the hotel could do with a good re-grouting, in rooms and by the pool. It is a very chilled out hotel, you will always get a sun lounger, if not by the pool there is a solarium with loads of beds.. entertainment team work hard and are great fun, staff in the bars and restaurants work their socks off, it seems like they could do with a few more staff. Breakfast is fine, lots of choice, the snack bar does things like burgers, hotdogs, chips, nuggets, spring rolls. Onion rings, cheese slices, salad and bread rolls... lunch was a bit hit and miss, but you'll find something to put together, everything was clean and the food looked like it was cooked with care, no raw or undercooked food like ive seen at a lot of 4 star all inclusive that I have been to. Can't comment much on evening meal, We ate out every evening because there are so many lovely restaurants to try. We would definitely go back, don’t worry if you have booked and are worried about the reviews, we were pleasantly surprised.
