We had a very enjoyable holiday as a family of two adults and three kids. The kids really enjoyed the entertainment around the pool during the day, the foam party was a big hit. The entertainment team do a great job and really interact with the kids. We went out and about for the evening so I can't comment on the night time entertainment. We had breakfast included in our booking, there was a good selection of pastries, fruit and hot food to choose from, the kids loved the pancakes. They could do with having a better selection of breakfast cereals. We stayed in block 5 the room was very basic and could definitely do with updating but it was clean. The cleaning staff were always friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is brilliant so close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We would definitely return again.

Starting with the positives: the entertainment team is absolutely fantastic with both adults and children. There are plenty of fun activities for all ages, including aqua aerobics, football, cocktail-making classes, dancing, running across a floating mat in the pool, and much more. There is also a kids’ club, which my daughter really enjoyed, while my son preferred spending most of his time swimming. The hotel has three swimming pools. Two are perfect for children, while the third is a deeper pool with a beach-style sloping entrance that gradually goes from shallow to deep. This was ideal for our family, as even those who could not swim confidently could still enjoy the pool together with everyone else. The water temperature was also lovely, so we never felt freezing cold when getting in. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis. There was always something we liked at the buffet, and the same was true for lunch, which was often our favourite meal. The snack bar was also good, I loved the nuggets , the children loved the burger . The slush drinks were delicious, and there was a decent selection of included drinks and cocktails. The staff were very friendly. Some joked with us, some smiled, and others always made an effort to say hello. We felt well treated by everyone. At one point, my son needed medical assistance for an illness that was not related to the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful in arranging a doctor and booking a taxi to the hospital. The children’s disco was also a big success. We did not see much of the adult evening entertainment, as we usually put the children to bed around that time. Another major advantage is the beautiful little beach located just across the road from the hotel. We also noticed that the hotel seemed cleaner this year than during our previous stay. The communal areas and the pool areas were cleaner, and the housekeeping appeared to be more thorough. The washing machines and tumble dryers had also been upgraded since our last visit. We also really appreciated that, when we left during the night, the hotel provided us with drinks and snacks for the bus journey. It was a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end our stay. Unfortunately, there were also a few negative aspects. The first apartment we were given was on the lowest level. It was dark, smelled strongly of damp and mould, and had visible mould in several places. It was completely unacceptable to expect a family with young children to sleep there, particularly as my son has sensitive airways and my mother-in-law has asthma. We asked to change rooms and, after some back and forth, we were eventually moved. Initially, it was suggested that a cleaner could be sent to the room, but this was clearly not a cleaning issue. The apartment needs proper renovation and treatment for damp and mould. The replacement apartment was excellent. It was bright, smelled fresh and was much more comfortable. However, there were still two lamps with visible mould on them, which should simply be removed and replaced. There were also many dining tables placed directly in the sun, with too few shaded tables available. This could become very uncomfortable during the hottest parts of the day. Another issue was the usual sunbed reservation problem. People were placing towels on the sunbeds before the sun had even risen, making it difficult for other guests to find available loungers later in the morning. The hotel should consider enforcing a clearer policy against reserving unused sunbeds for long periods. There is free ice cream too, but I did not like that, but most of my family did. The breakfast is ok , a bit boring but ok. Overall, despite these issues, we had a fantastic holiday. The children had an amazing time, and so did all of the adults. We really enjoyed the pools, activities, food, staff and location. However, the condition of the first apartment is a serious concern and is the main reason we would hesitate to book again ( we had two bedroom apartment , not delux). We would be worried about being assigned another damp or mouldy apartment and not being able to move.

The pros The reception staff are lovely and always smiling. The air on in the rooms are very good probably the best we’ve had in a hotel. Good pool area, fun for kids and entertainment good by pool area. Cons Firstly when arriving you can not help but notice the whole cleanliness of the hotel which is quite poor even for a 3 star. Not enough attention to detail in the presentation of the whole hotel. Some things look run down, cleaners leave bags of towels outside rooms and just looks tatty overall. The cup situation is frustrating and just feels like they can’t be bothered to clean the cups. Cups are just rinsed with water from the beer pump rather than exchanged for clean ones. If you want to grab a drink before heading out you have to take your cup with you or return to the room. The biggest downfall to this place is by far the food!!!! I can’t stress enough how poor the food choices and quality is. It’s the worst we have ever had in a 3* not enough choices, no air con in restaurants, no curtesy by staff, no greeting when arriving and it’s manic. Same at breakfast, no choices, no cutlery on tables, no salt and pepper on tables it is just lacking everything a restaurant should be and feels like there’s no pride in the service by the staff. Plates are way too hot to pick up as they come straight out after been washed. Rooms are somewhat dated but can over look that as the air con was great. More attention to detail is needed to bring this hotel standard up to other 3 star hotels.
