What a lovely place! The resort is perfect for families in particular, but we were 2 adults and a 16 year-old, and we loved every minute. Everything you need is on hand, and the staff are so friendly. We were there in early July, and there were plenty of sunbeds, including ones in the shade, and lots of space in the pools. The activities- including pilates, water aerobics, football - were well organised, and there were plenty of things to choose from. There is music every evening, including a disco for little children, but things wind down at 10.30/11, after which time it's peaceful. The refreshing breeze coming off the near-by Med meant that the temperatures never felt too hot. The beautiful Pollensa Bay is about a 35/40 minute walk away, and the beaches are lovely, with a variety of water sports. The bus runs from Pollensa to Alcudia fairly regularly, and is not expensive (a tap card gives the best rates), so it's an option if the flat walk, which is partially along a cycle way/road, is too much. Alcudia, and its Sunday Market and 13th century walls, is also well worth a visit, as are the beaches, and a trip to Formentor, with ferries leaving from Pollensa Bay. The Pollensa Bay area felt very safe, even late at night, and there were many restaurants to choose from. You do not need to leave the resort though, especially as the longish walk to Pollensa Bay could prove too much in the heat of the day. The food/drinks options on site are excellent. The buffet breakfast is extensive to say the least, and we were glad we'd added it when booking. We used the gym every day, and also had relaxing massages in the spa. Staff at reception were always very helpful. The big pool is spacious, and there are also smaller pools for little ones. The resort is well laid out with a mini-mart, smoothie bar, a choice of restaurants, and amazing cocktails! The room and amenities were just as advertised in the photos on the website. We booked with Easyjet - the transfers could not have been smoother. A truly relaxing stay - we'd definitely go again.

Fantastic hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely, comfortable beds and the cleaners were amazing and such clean facilities. We didn’t use the restaurant every night, but when we did there was plenty of choice and good quality. Ideal location and you can catch the bus easily to Puerto Pollensa or Alcudia. Will definitely return!

We have just returned from the most amazing week in Majorca and can honestly say this was one of the best holidays we've ever had. We've visited the island before, but this time decided to try a different area and booked Club del Sol through Jet2 on a room-only basis. From the start, everything ran smoothly. We had a couple of minor hiccups at the airport, but these were not Jet2-related and certainly didn't spoil the holiday. The coach transfer was excellent as always, with friendly and helpful Jet2 staff throughout and an efficient, welcoming driver. As soon as we arrived at Club del Sol, we knew we had made the right choice. Walking into the beautifully air-conditioned reception was a welcome relief from the heat, and we were greeted by some of the nicest hotel staff we've ever encountered. Even the staff uniforms reflected the hotel's classy and professional feel. I hadn't fully appreciated that we had booked a 4-star plus property, but you can tell from the moment you walk through the doors. Our room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was a real treat during the hot weather. We were also pleasantly surprised by the excellent facilities, including the gym and spa, all of which were free to use and maintained to a very high standard. What really made this holiday special, however, was the entertainment team—particularly Maurice. He is genuinely one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He works tirelessly to ensure there is something for everyone and has an incredible ability to engage guests of all ages. He seemed to form a real connection with our teenagers, who for the first time ever fully embraced the entertainment programme. They had an absolute blast taking part in aqua gym, water polo, table tennis, football, volleyball and many other activities throughout the week. I also joined the daily Pilates sessions, which were so much fun and a great way to start the day. We even brought my parents, who are in their 70s, and they absolutely loved the holiday too. While the teenagers were busy with activities, my parents were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect holiday for three generations. Although the pool officially opens at 10am, I am very fair-skinned and like to get some sun before the heat becomes too intense. I was able to sit around the pool area from 8am without any issues and then retreat to the shade later in the morning when temperatures were at their highest. As we stayed room only, getting around was incredibly easy. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road, and just three stops away is the port, which offers a huge variety of restaurants and bars. Our favourite discovery was The Hideaway, located behind the apartments. It offers fantastic value for money and an extensive menu. Colin, who runs it, is incredibly welcoming, and Carmen is exceptionally knowledgeable about food allergies, making dining there a stress-free experience. The only area where the hotel could improve is its catering for guests with coeliac disease. We looked at both the breakfast and evening buffets and found that there were very limited gluten-free options available. For anyone without dietary restrictions, however, the food looked plentiful and varied. Even on a room-only basis, guests can purchase buffet access, which was €16 for all-you-can-eat breakfast and €26 for the evening buffet. A special mention must also go to the bar staff, who were fantastic throughout our stay and played a huge part in making our holiday so memorable. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having a great time. Overall, Club del Sol exceeded our expectations in every way. Immaculate facilities, wonderful staff, fantastic entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere made this the perfect holiday for our family. We left with amazing memories and are already looking at dates to return. We will 100% be back! Special Thanks to Maurice, you truly are the nicest person I ever met. A great second stay at Club Del Sol after our visit last July. This review is from the perspective of peak holiday season when kids have finished school and the hotel is busy. The hotel is spacious and modern and just has a great relaxed vibe to it. The bedrooms are very good with efficient air conditioning which was needed as was very hot and humid. The onsite shop is great for water, drinks, snacks and pastries as well as swim floats, footballs, pool toys etc. If you went full self catering you would definitely need to visit an Eroski or Lidl for full range of foods. We went bed and breakfast and I really rate what is an offer at breakfast. Lots of options and all very tasty. We also paid for dinner in there a few nights - again choice plentiful. Some nights I think are better than others - the Spanish night with meats and pate was lovely as were the sushi nights. But never failed to have an enjoyable three course meal at the buffet. The staff are very efficient and friendly in there and the poolside cafe. My husband had the El Cubans wrap every day he loved it that much whereas I loved the cheese and ham toastie. The entertainment staff once again are top notch-Maurice in particular has endless energy and enthusiasm and was friendly with all the guests. The boys loved the football and water polo in particular. Useful to have onsite washing machine which was 4 euro for a cycle. Great cocktails in the bar at much more reasonable prices compared to the UK with more alcohol in them! Downsides-at peak holiday season, sadly getting a sun bed is a challenge around the main pool. Each sun bed says ‘do not reserve’. When we left to come home this morning our coach was an early pick up and there were many towels out at 640am! In the latter half of the holiday I would say there was nothing left after 8am. At first we had tried putting down towels after breakfast about 930am when we were going to then be sitting by the pool. By day 3 that was impossible. I did raise it with reception due to a specific family health reason as ideally we needed to place hotels down as a family to avoid confusion for one guest. Unfortunately they weren’t interested. Fair enough if they don’t want to do anything but my suggestion would be that on check in they advise guests that if a bed is reserved for more than an hour without being used first thing in the morning then they will support other guests moving those towels. The bar was great but air conditioning wasn’t great in there so was quite uncomfortable when lots of people watching the World Cup. However I would return again as it provides a great family holiday. There are just areas where they have room to continue to improve and take it up a notch. Ps using mallorcacab at peak times didn’t work, with a 6 seater taxi taking an hour to arrive. Bus is better and generally run on time.
