Another amazing holiday at the TUI blue sensatori biomar! Having also been to 3 Ikos resorts in the last year, I can honestly say our holidays here at half the price have been just as lovely and - in some aspects - even better. Firstly wanted to call out the incredible kids’ club and crèche staff. Travelling with my 2 and 5 year old children I am so grateful for such an amazing facility with such wonderful staff. My son and daughter happily went in to kids club and crèche for 2 hours every day, and my toddler - who still cries at home at nursery drop off - would even go up to the creche door when it was shut asking to go! This stay I would like to particularly call out Nereah, Gloria, Lovisa and Anna who went above and beyond in every way and every day. It was so lovely to see how they interacted with the children and I felt so so comfortable knowing they were so happy and well looked after. We actually came here last year too and Nereah remembered our son which I thought was really lovely. This gave us a couple of hours a day to relax in the adults’ only section (which is impeccably presented) and also to eat in the adults’ only buffer on the couple of nights a week where the kids can go to a kids club party (which they loved!) The entertainment team do a great job every night putting on great performances despite the heat! The tbots show is adored by all the children in the resort and something we went to every night. There are also activities on most days including magic training, dance workshops, the running mat in the pool to keep all the children occupied. There is even a really cute dedicated children’s’ area in the spa. Again in terms of staff, the service all round is generally excellent. Javier in the family buffet was a breath of fresh air always so happy and kind natured and so good with all the children. The maitre-de and hotel manager are also always around and extremely friendly and approachable. We are frequent holiday-makers but Biomar is the only hotel we have ever returned to (now 5 times in the last 3 years). We just always have a really great balanced holiday here for good value for money. The only thing we found disappointing this stay was that we always get a swim up suite so our daughter can swim and sunbathe while our toddler naps. We came last month in June and we were appointed a well located room which was spacious and sunny. However when we booked to return again this July just one month later our request for a sunny terrace was sadly not fulfilled. I made it clear we would be very happy to move room at any point in our 11 day holiday if a sunny room became available but heard no further on this at all which was disappointing - we simply would not have booked a swim up room if we’d known it would be in the shade all day and we therefore did not use it at all. We were also put in building block B and our room seemed to be more dated than we have experienced previously. If we were to return - which I hope to - I would really like to ensure we would get a sunny terrace. Despite this gripe, we had a really excellent holiday. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Biomar to friends and family - in fact I regularly do and several of our friends have also visited and had great experiences. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and we hope to see you again.

My stay I spent 2 weeks at the biomar, the first 10 days were lovely. Rather quiet considering it was the school holidays, still busy but not heaving compared to neighbouring protur hotels. We came as a family of 6 never struggled to get a table, or beds together. There wasnt really any sunbed saving always beds available. Towels for the pool are included within your stay and can be changed daily. Staff extremely helpful & willing to help whenever needed. They work extremely hard!! Food was absolutely exceptional, lots on offer & quality was lovely. My child has allergies & they went above & beyond for him. All round it was very “inclusive” for someone who has to avoid alot. Drinks are all named brand drinks. With loads to choose from. Rooms are clean/nice. They do need a little revamp in places but nothing that makes your stay uncomfortable or unpleasant. The bike hire from the main hotel is a lovely added touch. (Free) The entertainment for adults & children in the day is really good. something different everyday. Having to book everything through the app is rather annoying. Evening entertainment is rather low quality, the childrens “disco” could be abit more involving for the children. Instead of just bit of dancing around the stage. The adult shows are really low quality. You can use the adult only pool and facilities which is a nice touch but it is very boring over there, with no music unless fhe dj is playing. Roll forward to the last 4 days, alot of entitled parents & children. Children arent allowed up to the buffet if they are under 10 without an adult. This was ignored by alot of parents. Around the pool im sure alot didnt have a clue were their children were. Taking other childrens pool floats, then when asking for them back greeted with “no, my child likes it”. Overall my stay was lovely, id definitely return. Never in august though. As its just to busy.

Just returned from a stay in the adults section so my review is based on adults only. Rooms- we stayed in a swim up double room which was lovely and peaceful. The room was spacious and very clean! Food- WOW. What can I say! The adult buffet was superb, the food was beautiful. There was a different theme each night so there was always variety. The lamb melted in my mouth. Absolute credit to the chefs! We enjoyed our lunches at the Carina bar - chicken sandwiches, fajitas, nachos, etc - great! The cocktails were also excellent on an evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

“Disappointing compared to other TUI Sensatori resorts”

We stayed here with high expectations after previously visiting TUI Sensatori Sorgun in Turkey, which was exceptional. Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t deliver the same premium experience we had come to expect from the Sensatori brand. Our original room had several maintenance issues, including a corroded and wobbly spiral staircase leading to the rooftop, chipped finishes around the pool and other signs of poor upkeep. We reported these immediately and, to be fair, both the hotel and the TUI representative, Jeff, responded quickly. We were moved to another room, which we appreciated, although it also had maintenance issues including holes in the curtains, a damaged patio door and the same style of spiral staircase. We also found the beds disappointing. Although advertised as a double bed, they were actually two small single beds pushed together, which continually separated during the night. Individually they were too narrow for either of us to sleep comfortably on, and together they created a gap that made getting a good night’s sleep difficult. For a premium resort, we expected a proper double or king-size bed rather than two small beds pushed together. One of our biggest disappointments was that the overall experience didn’t match what we felt had been presented during the booking process. In our opinion, the majority of the photographs on the TUI booking page appeared to showcase the adults-only section of the resort, creating an expectation of a more premium experience than the accommodation we received. We also discovered that room service is only available in the adults-only building, despite this being one of the features that had influenced our booking. Even the minibar in our room contained only complimentary soft drinks. The rooftop area was also less enjoyable than expected. There was no nearby bar or drinks service, so every time we wanted a drink we had to use the spiral staircase, take the lift down four floors, walk to the main bar and carry drinks back by hand. It made using the rooftop much less relaxing than we had anticipated. The food was another disappointment. The buffet was repetitive, with much of the offering consisting of pizzas, burgers and other standard buffet items. The paella was often dry, the carvery wasn’t replenished promptly, sandwiches had dried out and curled at the edges, and many desserts appeared to be frozen, pre-made products rather than freshly prepared. The cocktails also lacked consistency, with many appearing to come from pre-mixed bottles and varying considerably in taste and presentation depending on which bar or bartender served them. You also cannot get a coffee outside the restaurant before 1030 am. That’s when the coffee shop opens. The coffee facilities in the room had decaf only. That said, there were positives. The staff were friendly, hardworking and always polite. The grounds were attractive and well maintained, and Jeff, the TUI representative, was outstanding throughout. He listened, escalated our concerns immediately, kept us informed and genuinely did everything he could to improve our holiday. He is a real credit to TUI and deserves recognition for the way he handled our complaint. Overall, we still enjoyed our holiday, but for the price we paid, we expected a significantly higher standard of accommodation, food and overall experience. Sadly, this simply wasn’t the premium Sensatori holiday we had experienced before.
