We had read a lot of good reports on this hotel, so our expectations were high. First impressions as the coach rolled up to the hotel were good, check-in was quick and easy and we were offered a glass of wine ( or juice ) as soon as we set foot in reception. Our room was a short step from reception, in the family area, block A. Fortunately, we were on the first floor. The reason I say fortunately is because the lift is an open plan glass lift. We hadn’t noticed that when we were checking out the hotel, and my wife is petrified of heights and cannot use a glass lift. Luckily the first floor was not too many steps. Our room/suite (118 ) was a good size, which should sleep up to 4 people. the main two beds were two double beds pushed together and reasonably comfortable. In my opinion they could have used two extra wide single beds and made a bit more free space in the room. The two beds in the second room were fold up single chair/beds and not nice at all, either as chairs or beds. They were very firm, uncomfortable, and creaked loudly with every movement. Possibly Ok for small kids but painful for adults. There was a TV in each room and you can get the main Uk channels if you want to. It takes a little bit of fiddling with the remote, but I got there in the end. A mini bar was stocked with water and a few soft drinks which were replaced daily. There was also a kettle plus a few sachets of tea / coffee Bathroom was very nice with a shower and separate bath, but there was no door ! So, no privacy. Air con and heating worked well. We had two balconies overlooking the main family pool which was usually very noisy all day and well into the night. If you like it a little bit quieter don’t ask for a pool view. Food was excellent and there were lots of places to eat or drink all day. Quite often an all-inclusive hotel will serve up rubbish quality to cut costs, but not here. it’s very very good. There is also an adult only area which is very nice. There are adult only pools and restaurants. all extremely nice and a lot quieter. Entertainment was very good for kids but mostly pretty rubbish for adults. We were on this trip with our Daughter and grandchildren, and the little ones loved it, they couldn’t believe they could have all the ice cream they wanted and didn’t have to pay 😊 And our 6 year old felt very grown up swimming to the pool bar and ordering an apple juice. All in all, we very much liked the place and would happily return. If we came without the kids, we would definitely go for the adults only area, it’s a different experience altogether. All staff were pleasant and friendly There were a few negative points but these were mostly relatively minor and would not stop us returning. 1. No one here can make a decent cup of coffee, but to be fair I have never been to any Spanish hotel and had good coffee. I suppose everyone has different tastes when it comes to coffee, but we found nearby coffee shops were much better. Even though the hotel has a nice coffee shop, the coffee is lousy and they serve it in paper cups ! That’s ok for poolside but not for guests sitting inside the coffee shop oddly enough the bar next to the coffee shops sells coffee in proper cups ( but it’s still naff old coffee ) 2. The hotel does not appear to have a policy about reserving sun beds. You can see people marking their territory at the crack of dawn. This was not a bother to me as I don’t spend the day lying by a pool, but I bet it causes some problems in the busy season ( it’s Mid-April as I write ). 3. The pool areas are really nice but the poolside tiles are glossy and as slippery as an ice rink when wet. I saw several people go down. 4. All information within the hotel is “App” based. If you are not good with ‘smart’ technology, you are slightly stuffed. I would prefer to see written info on a board or screen in reception or in the room. 5. The balcony rails on the room are, in my opinion, not safe for small children. Both my granddaughters ( age 2 and 6 ) found them easy to climb on and tried to cross over to grandad’s balcony. 6. Our room ( 118 ) had no door on the bathroom, which may be fine for a married couple but not good for a couple of friends sharing the room who might like to take a bath or shower in private .

“October in Mallorca”

The staff were all lovely, the grounds and hotel were clean. Food was fantastic, pools amazing, loved the swim up adult only one and roof one. Good selection of drinks, room was a large size with 2 big balconies, plenty of storage. The beach was walkable aling with shops.

I treated my husband to a week here as a 'last hoorah', as I have terminal cancer and treated this as my last foreign holiday. We had a junior suite, which is on the 'family' side, but spent most of our pool time in the adults area. The variety of pools and bars is wonderful and you can 'have a day out' flitting between them. The food was excellent, as was the service. The rooms are cleaned impeccably. We visited three of the a la carte restaurants; all of which were excellent. The ladies replenishing the mini bar were very accommodating, changing the cokes for coke zero (due to being diabetes). The entertainment on the big stage wasn't always for us, but there is the alternative of a live singer in the adults only bar or in the piano bar. It was lovely to have branded spirits on the all inclusive. I enjoyed a Johnny walker or three, while my husband made a decent dent in the sticks of Cointreau. As for my expected demise, my latest scans have been good (enough for us to disappear to Tenerife for a week in January) and, if my latest results are half decent, we'll be coming back here for 11 nights in April. 😀 Can't wait!

“Massive difference between the only and adults and family side.”

We stayed at the Biomar in May 2025, the food was really nice and lots of different options, the rooms for a family of 4 were nice but not the biggest. We went with family who ranged from 2years to 68years. Me and my husband went to the adults only part which honestly feels like a different hotel it is really nice, the family side is also nice but when you see the adults you do feel like you have been allocated 2nd best. My children are 11 and 15, very well behaved and also look far older we wondered over to the adult part with them and my husband we seen 2 boys who looked there age playing volleyball in the pool so we went in as there was a pool table for my eldest no one was playing on it, he played pool with my husband and after 10 mins was told to leave as he was not the required age we left which was fine as it is for over 16s, but they failed to tell the 2 other boys in the adults only pool playing volleyball, who were splashing and making lots of noise in the 'only adults area', we felt discriminated against as we were told to leave. If there's no under 16s allowed then it should apply to all under 16s not who the staff choose. This did leave a sour taste in our mouths. Saying this the family side is kept cleanish but no were near as good as the adults. The sunbeds really do need replacing and some have umbrellas that do not work which means if you are unlucky to get a sunbed with a broken umbrella you will bake in the heat. There's the usual towels on beds at 6am and as the week went on this got worse. My parents have stayed here before in the adults hotel before this time and did say it is a completely different holiday they wouldn't have thought it was the same hotel so please bare in mind when booking and looking at reviews. Beach is about 20 min walk and there are shops on the front we didnt need to eat out as I have said the food for an all inclusive was nice, the white wine was also really good. The evening entertainment for under 10s is good but for children older I would say there is not much for them.
