“Great hotel”

Staff are so lovely, place is clean. They gave me a little birthday gift set which was really sweet of them. Would definitely recommend

The hotel is located near a busy road, though this does not disturb the stay; there are many shops selling souvenirs and essentials in the immediate vicinity. The rooms lack good soundproofing—separated only by boxed-in utility shafts—so it depends on how noisy your neighbors are. The staff is mostly cordial, English could be a little better. The hotel shows its age, but it is clean. The food is good and the selection is varied, but they have a sort of "Gold All Inclusive" option that you only find out about once you're there. The main downside is the nearest "beach," which is more of a bay or a parking area for boats and skiffs; essentially, there is no beautiful sandy beach facing the open sea in the immediate vicinity.

This hotel is fine but I am surprised it has so many great reviews (Which is what made us book here). The communal areas are pleasant enough and it’s an ok location. This hotel is fine but I am surprised it has so many great reviews (Which is what made us book here). The communal areas are pleasant enough and it’s an ok location. Our first room was basic ie. no kettle/fridge and dated/tired. Although beds were ok, shower was great and all appeared mostly clean. The issue is the noise….. it felt like the walls were made of paper and you can hear every word spoken by those in neighbouring rooms, those walking past or those in the room above you. I was awoken at 8am one morning by a young lad calling his mum to tell her he’d been charged €28 in a club for a drink - I could’ve sworn he was stood at the end of my bed it was so loud and clear. Although the final straw was hearing our upstairs neighbour ‘straining’ in the loo whilst I was doing my make up in the bathroom ….. The person on reception didn’t seem surprised when asked to move but said we’d have to wait until the next day as all rooms were taken. We were told we’d be given a room on the top floor which was quieter. The next day (today) we had to be out of our first room by 11am and couldn’t get into our new room until 1pm which was frustrating but not the end of the world. However, we’ve been given a room on the second floor, not the top floor, which at first glance doesn’t appear much different other than a nicer view from the balcony. Maybe it’s a little quieter as it’s not opposite the entrance stairway like our first room but the first thing I heard when I went in the bathroom was yet another neighbouring guest taking a poop. As clear as day…. I feel traumatised and think they need to do some soundproofing if only in the bathrooms for basic privacy! (There’s a Louvre door cupboard in both bathrooms that appear to be the root of the noise issue!). On the whole it’s fine, food ok, wine could be better but I guess you can’t ask for much on all inclusive. The soft drinks are branded Coca Cola drinks which is nice. Overall it’s a fine hotel if you are just looking for a basic place to stay whilst you explore the nightlife maybe but I wouldn’t recommend to families or those looking for luxury…..
