“Lovely hotel with a great atmosphere”

We were a little bit wary having read some of the reviews prior to our visit, particularly with regard to the noise. There was a bit of noise from a couple of stag and hen parties but it was generally short lived and I can’t say it was enough to spoil our holiday. The hotel is a the far end of San Antonio Bay, you can walk along the rocky beach a short distance to the end of the promenade, and then into the main area in about 30 minutes. Cafe Mambo is about 15 minutes walk as are other bars and restaurants. You can access the small public beach via steps near the quiet pool. It’s worth having a wander down as the sea is beautifully clear and cooling. The view from the hotel is fantastic, it’s well worth the extra for the sea view but I’d have been disappointed with a swim up room. They looked lovely but the footpath goes past the pool and they don’t have a view of the sunset. The place to watch the sunset is the rooftop bar where they have an infinity pool and music. The bar service here is also excellent. It was a favourite evening haunt as the view is exceptional as the sun drops over the horizon. Our room was very clean with a large balcony that overlooked the pool and the sea. Having two beds was not great but seems quite common now. The mini bar was stocked with soft drinks, chocolate and nuts. Cold water is available from a dispenser in the corridor. The shower had a big rainfall head and a smaller spray attachment. The toiletries provided were good quality and they had an even had a magnifying make up mirror which was appreciated. When we were there it wasn’t crowded. There was no rushing for a sunbed, there were plenty available around the main pool and the quiet pool. The only issue we encountered was the bar service. Both pools had plenty of bar staff around, and it was fairly easy to get their attention, but then no drinks. In the end we largely gave up and went to the bar to get them ourselves. Finally, the food. The main restaurant is buffet style and honestly serves an amazing variety on beautiful food. Breakfast is served until 11am so no need to rush and get up. There are little plates with eggs Benedict, sourdough toast and avocado, or freshly prepared omelettes. The usual continental options, pastries and salad, and top quality bacon and sausages. Everything is kept topped up. Lunch and dinner was also full of variety and couldn’t be faulted. There are two speciality restaurants our favourite being Helios. The food was beautifully presented and equally tasty. The only issue was that we felt a bit rushed. Finally, there is a snack bar near the quiet pool. This operates from lunchtime through the afternoon. They serve a lovely Caesar salad, burgers and tacos. I would like to say a massive thank you to the restaurant staff. In all three restaurants the service was exceptional and the food was a joy. The reception team and butler service were also fantastic! This one is definitely on our “would visit again” list.

We came to Ibiza and stayed at TRS last year and enjoyed it so much that we simply had to come back again this year. Once again, everything has been absolutely fantastic – the hotel, the food, the atmosphere, and the service have all been exceptional. A special mention has to go to Marcela in the restaurant, who is quite simply one of the best waitresses we have ever come across. Her kindness, warmth, and attention to detail are second to none. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. What touched us most was the way she looked after our disabled son. She took the time to play with him, make him smile, and genuinely made him feel included and welcome. Those little moments meant the world to us as a family and are something we will never forget. Marcela is an absolute credit to TRS and one of the reasons we will continue to return. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable. 5 stars – highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
