We have just returned from this wonderful hotel. We were a party of 11, family and friends, and my friend's parents who are over 80. It is an adults-only hotel and we went all-inclusive. Flew with EasyJet on a package holiday with transfers included. Location: 30 mins from airport. Hotel very close to the beach - small but sandy areas, accessible, very quiet. We did not venture out of the hotel apart from to visit the local Hippie Market, but there were not many shops etc in the direct vicinity. We did not plan to do this as we were A.I so we did not mind. Entertainment: things were put on over the day - we did an Aquafit session and aqua Zumba, played Bingo (bottles of prosecco as prizes - excellent!), there was a pool party session on one of the days with DJ - one of the highlights of the week, a fantastic set. Also offered was a sangria making class. A different singer was on every night in the upstairs (outdoor) bar, only for an hour but I think this was because it is right next door to the hotel rooms and there's no escaping the noise if you are in your room on that side of the hotel! All the acts were good and finished by 10.30pm. Service/food etc: even though we were A.I, we were blown away by the amount of food and drink on offer, even the mini-bar in the room was included. SO much food to choose from! We didn't pay an extra penny for anything, and we all had what we wanted. The food was amazing, so much choice with 3-4 stations where you can choose to have some dishes prepared for you there and then - meat, sea food, pasta, stir-fry, omelettes at breakfast, crepes, it goes on and on! Salads, sauces, rice, etc. Loads of deserts to choose from, and a bread station. Restaurant light and airy, with sea view if you wanted it, spacious, tables not too close together, and a lovely outdoor area as well. Staff: I MUST give an extra shout out to the servers Pollito, Viktor, Jordi and Martin who were exceptional in their attention to service. (Jordi remembered we had iced coffee as soon as we got to the poolside in the morning, and Viktor just brought prosecco rose all day long!!) AI and child-free is the only way to do things now! Petra seemed to do everything else - all the fitness classes, the evening shift in the entertainment bar, the other daily activities - she even walked with us to the Hippie Market to make sure we didn't get lost! Even the staff whose names I don't know - nothing was too much trouble, they all worked so hard, running around all day looking after everyone, always with a smile and very polite. There was a lady in the restaurant - the manager I think - who remembered every day that one of our party needed a cushion for their back - we didn't need to ask again after the first time. Lots of little details which added up to a really memorable stay. It really felt like the staff cared about their job and making sure everyone was happy. We got a visit on the first day to check everything was ok, and a phone call the next morning also checking we were happy with everything. We were able to (luckily and unexpectedly) check in early - we arrived around 10am I think so that was a real bonus. We were also able to get 3 of our 6 rooms on a late checkout of 2pm - just luck as the rooms weren't needed. This was perfect for us as we could check out at 2pm, have a late lunch, and be ready for 3.30 pickup. It meant we got almost a full first day, and an extended last day. Definitely worth asking for this, but not till the evening before checkout, as they need to be sure your room isn't needed. The only teeny disappointment here was that we had sorted out one of the rooms to extend the check-out time, but this didn't get logged properly so we could only have it till 1pm instead of 2pm, but this is really minor in the scheme of things, and doesn't take away at all from the overall experience. I think you can tell it was an amazing experience for us all! We all want to go back again, for longer next time! THANKYOU to all the staff at the hotel, we will be back!
