“Amazing hotel”

Where to start. Amazing from start to finish, unable to fault this hotel. The location is perfect, literally 2 minutes and you are at the beach, bars and restaurants. Where to start. Amazing from start to finish, unable to fault this hotel. The location is perfect, literally 2 minutes and you are at the beach, bars and restaurants. We were all inclusive, the food was amazing -paella every lunch was so delicious, we looked forward to it. Plenty of options for everyone, they even had a kids corner of food. The drinks from the pool bar were great including the snacks and ice creams on offer included in the all inclusive. The staff are the most friendly staff I have ever come across. We had our brand new 6 week old baby and they couldn’t have been more accommodating for us. Sunbeds - we never managed to get a sunbed around the actual pool with an umbrella but there was always spare beds you could place anywhere. We liked to have shade for my newborn so we put the beds near the bar seating area which was shaded. Again, nobody moved us from here. Everyone was just so kind. The pool was like getting into a warm bath, amazing for young children. Entertainment team are amazing. They did a musicals night- defo worth a watch Only downfall and it’s not a complaint. We had no bath to bathe my 6 week old, so we had to get in the shower with him. This was a little bit unsafe once he had soap on, it became slippery to hold him safely. I think if the hotel does have baths they should give them to families with young children Don’t hesitate to book this hotel, you won’t be disappointed

2ad 2ch 13 and 11 stayed August for 3 nights. I would take all reviews and just decode for yourselves. On arrival around 1pm, we checked in quickly, purchased safe for €3 per night, and also paid tourist tax. All checked in within 15 mins and straight to the room. ROOM Large room with accessible shower room (1 traveler had assistance booked) all towels and bedding in room with shampoo and bodywash available in shower, also handwash by sink. Had a movable trolley in the bathroom for washbags. Also a hairdryer and phone in the bathroom also. Bedroom had 4 single beds (2 pushed together but made separately), all made up and clean. Had desk with drawers, 2 bedside tables a fridge and a TV. Wardrobe has lots of hanging rooms and 3 drawers and location of the safe. Air-conditioned, and it was needed with 33*c heat. (Felt like 38*c) Balcony had a pull out rail for drying and also a table and 2 chairs. View was over main road but could see the sea in distance. (Room wasn't noisy with road noise). Also reports previously of paper thin walls. We didn't experience this, just the usual noise within a hotel. RESTAURANT/BARS We had all inclusive, and were not disappointed with the amount of food available and the variety over 3 nights. Can't comment on staying longer than that. All staff friendly and helpful in restaurants especially Manuel. Breakfast opened for continental food around half 6 am for those leaving early. Drinks on All Inclusive clearly marked on menu but all local no named brands. This didn't bother us. we just enjoyed what was available within our package. A choice Ice Creams and great for a quick cool down by the pool. Pool bar you need €1 for 2 glasses that you swap for fresh drinks or tokens. I loved this as it meant no cups dotted around everywhere by the pool. You could get food at the snack bar, but we didn't order anything, so I can't comment. Indoor bar opens 9pm, and the same rule applies for the cups, so you can use your tokens there too. POOLS We stayed at the bottom pool and got sunbeds at 3 pm, 10 am, and 4 pm on the 3 days, but we didn't struggle. There was a queue before 8 am for when it opened to get prime spots, not unlike other resorts across the world. Showers available by both pools, there were plenty of brollys and also a shaded area on grass. Team of staff cleaning pool areas AM and EVE. ENTERTAINMENT 11-year-old joined in water polo and enjoyed it. we also watched the evening entertainment 2 nights. It was great fun, and the staff worked very hard. Boys played pool and didn't get opportunity to play table tennis but it was available. Overall, our stay was great and ideal for our 3 nights. It had lots of features to suit all with ramps, hoist to pool etc. Would 100% stay again.

Just returned from this hotel with my wife and 11 year old. Firstly the hotel is spotless, possibly the cleanest hotel ive ever been too. The pool area is a great size with no sunbed wars which is a massive plus. The food was hot, fresh and great quality. Big shout out to manuel, the smiling face of every meal. There is a large selection and caters for even fussy eaters. Estrella on tap and the AI drinks were good. The bar staff are fabulous and very friendly. I really didnt want to write this because now everyone will want to go, booked on a whim and found an absolute jem of a hotel. The central location is a massive plus too.

I wanted to give my balanced view based on a family of 4 with a new adult (just 18) and a 13 year old The staff are all excellent from reception to cleaners and restaurant staff. The entertainment team were super engaging and generally the quality of the entertainment was of a good standard. A little note however is that my 13 year old is 5ft 10 yet you had to be 16 to play waterpolo which I don’t understand. Food was ok. A bit repetitive but kinda what you expect at a buffet style all inclusive. Rooms were basic but had all we needed albeit a little small. We found noise to be a thing though as we could hear next door a lot and not coz they were noisy, just because the room we in had an adjoining door (not being used) and so seemed to make the noise worse. This may seem odd to say but the pool was too warm! We often walked down to the beach which is just down the road to cool off. At first I found the whole 1euro for 2 cups and taking them back and forth a bit odd but soon realised that it helps to keep the place clean for sure. The hotel was lovely and clean to be fair! The reception was so lush and cool which was lovely if you needed respite from the sun and didn’t want to go back to your room. The snack bar didn’t open till late (3 I think) and the snacks were very limited which needs to be looked at. Overall summary of the hotel is that it is a good, clean, family friendly budget hotel in a great location- Es Cana is lush.
