This was the fourth time we stayed at the Tropic Garden Hotel in Santa Eularia on Ibiza. As usual a very nice stay, mainly thanks to the people of the hotel. The hotel facilities, rooms, views, swimming pool, restaurant,… are all great and clean but the main difference for us comes from the people of the hotel, from the reception to the cleaning team and the people in the restaurant and bars, always welcoming you with a smile. And the wonderful entertainment team who brought a daily smile to our children’s faces. The teams also remain stable over the years which is always a good sign. For families with young children this is a great location, also Santa Eularia and its surroundings with a nice beach, little shops, a boardwalk great for a running, a nice little harbor…and the closeby Hippie Market and even an Alpaca Farm great to visit with children. We will surely be back next year

We’ve just returned from a 4-day stay at Tropic Garden Hotel and overall had a really lovely time. It’s a great option for families and definitely good value for money. The hotel is around 30 minutes from the airport. Our taxi cost €33 on arrival and €42 on the return, which was a bit odd for the same journey. We arrived at 11am and our room wasn’t ready until 2pm, which wasn’t ideal after travelling with children. However, we were able to store our luggage and use all the hotel facilities straight away, which made things much easier. On check-in, you’re given waterproof wristbands that act as your room key—really convenient, especially around the pool. Rooms The apartment was bright, clean, and well-equipped. We had a separate bedroom, living area with sofa bed, microwave and fridge, a clean bathroom, and a nice-sized balcony with table and chairs. There’s also a safe in the room. The whole hotel was spotless and clearly very well maintained. Facilities & Activities There’s plenty to do for both adults and children. I took part in a cocktail-making class and morning stretch, both enjoyable. The kids loved the chocolate fountain activity! There’s also regular entertainment for children, which looked very popular. The outdoor pool is large and clean with lots of space, although it was quite cold when we visited (April). The indoor pool was also clean but cold. The gym was decent, and while the sauna didn’t seem to be in use, the area was tidy. Food The buffet had a really good variety at all meals—breakfast included pancakes, cooked options, fruit, pastries, meats, cheeses and more. Lunch and dinner were just as varied. We stayed half board and were able to swap one dinner for lunch, which was a great option and gave us the chance to eat out one evening. Location The hotel is about a 15–20 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants. It was fairly quiet in April, and most places closed around 11pm. There’s a small shop right outside the hotel for essentials, and a much larger supermarket just behind it if you walk around the building. Extras • Beach towels: €10 deposit (refunded in cash) • Pool bar example: €21 for 2 small cokes, 1 apple juice, and 3 ice creams Overall A clean, family-friendly hotel with plenty to do and good food options. A few minor downsides, but nothing that impacted our stay too much. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as a family with both teenagers and younger children, and overall had a really lovely holiday. The Entertainment Team were absolutely fantastic — the Lion King show was a highlight for all of us! The Chefs and Housekeeping also deserve a big mention for their great work. There was a wide variety of food options, and the location is ideal — just a 10-minute walk to the marina. Our room was clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a large terrace featuring a jacuzzi and stunning sea view. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi leaked water across the balcony, which meant we could either enjoy the jacuzzi or use the terrace, but not both. We reported this to reception, and while we were told it had been fixed, the issue remained throughout our stay. The staff overall were very friendly, with the exception of one lady with blonde hair at the pool bar who was consistently rude, which was disappointing. We also found long queues at the bar in the evenings, with only two staff serving during peak show times. It would have been nice to have more snack options at the pool bar for all-inclusive guests, especially with little ones needing something before the main restaurant opened at 1pm — which felt a bit late for lunch. The hotel is listed as 4-star, but we’d personally rate it as a 3-star Superior. Toward the end of our stay was that staff started scanning wristbands to check all-inclusive status — and a surprising number of people were turned away. Clearly, some were trying their luck! Despite some small issues, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to other families looking for an affordable, fun, and family-friendly holiday in Ibiza.
