Tui magic life cala pada was one of my best holidays as a family it includes every age with family games, my mo club and especially the teens club. Lennox who runs the teens club was so inclusive and made sure everyone was capable of doing the activities. There was a teens dinner which was a great time to get to know people and especially Lennox. He was like a big brother to me and was very understanding but also with a cheeky side to him. I recommend anyone from ages 12-16 to go to the teens club and give it a go.

Overall a nice holiday which I got on a good deal, but glad I didn’t pay more for! Positives - staff very responsive and helpful, our safe didn’t work and a maintenance guy was back replacing batteries before we could walk back from reception ourselves - short journey from the airport - grounds were beautifully kept - drink stations easily accessible throughout hotel and meant no long queues for soft drinks - lots and lots of activities for adults or children 5+ - no sunbed races, we stayed by the toddler pool and were usually the first towels there at 9:30/10am most days - room was cleaned and towels replaced daily (except our first day for some reason, and drinks weren’t added until then so I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication on when we arrived) Negatives - the hotel is massive which you don’t get from initial impressions of the tiny entrance (we were told by another guest this hotel is actually an apartment complex turned into a hotel which makes sense as nothing was designed with hotel in mind). We were fortunately in the middle of the complex so only had one long walk everyday from the pool to the restaurant which were opposite ends, I’d say around 10 mins each way whilst encouraging a moaning toddler. We heard of multiple older guests struggling to get around. There are also no lifts so you need to request a ground floor room if you have a pram or wheelchair. - whilst the food was nice every single day by the time we’d returned to our table it was no longer hot - the rooms are dated with air con that did not cool the room at all, fortunately the bedroom has a ceiling fan which was good but not good for my family sleeping in the living room and I’m not sure how you’d cope in the height of summer! - whilst we were there it was the week before half term in England so as the week went on the number of older children and teens increased. Unfortunately a lot of them would race into the baby pool shooting water guns with no parental supervision and the lifeguards rarely came to this pool, let alone tell them to move on. We were also told children had been getting into the sport pool with floats and messing around. This did put a dampener on our last day or two and would probably mean we stayed at hotels aimed at younger children in future (and maybe our fault for booking this anyway!) - evening entertainment is all over the place, half by the main bar/restaurant and at other times the auditorium which is a fair walk away Overall we had a nice time but probably won’t be returning for a few years at least!

Visited for 5 nights in May 26 and generally had a great experience. The whole place was very clean, tidy and well kept. The staff were lovely and helpful. Restaurant had a great range of food, some of it not always warm, but there were chefs cooking certain foods in the serving area daily. Lots of choice for gluten free and vegan. The chef even made some things for us, for example a gluten free pizza. Soft drinks, water, tea, coffee, wine and beers available all day. Short walk down to a small beach. Pool towels available and can be changed whenever you want to, so no need to take your own. Room was very functional with a sink, microwave, kettle (but no cups!) and a safe that you can use (no charge). The fridge had some cans of soft drinks and a bottle of water on arrival, which was a nice touch. Only issues for us were the pillows were terrible (very flat and lumpy) and the two single beds that were pushed together were different types of mattresses - one way sprung and one was foam and was awful! The curtains were a light grey with no black outs so during the night and early morning the room was very light. We had a great time and really enjoyed the break, but also happy to return home to our comfy beds.

We booked with Tui for May half term, family of 4, two adults and two children aged 3 and 5. The kids loved it! They loved the pools. Every day they woke up asking to go to the pool with the slides. They loved swimming with us in the bigger pools and they loved the foam party in the pool. We had fresh towels every day from the towel hut. No trouble getting a sunbed before 10am which with two young children we are always up by then. Food- one child lived on chips and ice cream for the week and the other tried abit of everything and was happy with the food. I thought there was a good variety, always had pasta available, always had chips, plenty of salads and fruits and desserts. At lunchtime we could have burger and hot dogs in the snack bar to mix things up abit. The snack bar also had pots of ice cream. Only down side is the kids were hungry waiting from breakfast until lunchtime so I used spare snacks I had for that time. I think the snack bar could open at 11am. I also found the food could be cold at times when it had been a while since it had last been cooked, maybe the heat lamps need to be hotter? An amazing choice of pastries for breakfast. I loved having croissant and fruit in a morning. Drinks- I enjoyed a cava and a rose in an evening and it was self serve water and pop through the day for us as I am not a day drinker. The restaurant had self serve taps for water, wine, pop, beer which is great and easy to use. It had a machine for hot drinks. Plenty of different teas and coffees. We only went to the beach for a couple of hours so can't really say much about it but its a lovely little beach, not to busy. Photos- we had the photo shoot done as a family. When we went to purchase they wanted to charge us €200 for the photos that we liked. They would make much better profit being upfront and saying €50 for a package or just do a walk through where you take one photo with a back scene and then being upfront about the charge for one photo. I bet so many families would pay for one photo but dont want the hassle of taking 200+ photos around the hotel. The room- it was ok but could do with better storage in the bathrooms and bedroom drawers. They were floating shelves etc so no where to put a make up bag and multiple toiletries etc aswell as all of the clothes for 4 of us. I also found that the rooms could do with being cleaner as there was bits of other people's crisps in the patio door sliders and bodily fluids in a glass. Transfer- this is on tui not the hotel but I chose this hotel over a different hotel because the transfer time was supposed to be around 40 odd minutes but we were stuck on a coach for an hour and 40 minutes. This would have completely put me off booking if id have known. I think a taxi straight there would be better. We also had a sickness bug whilst there so lost 2 days of the holiday dealing with that. When I told reception that my daughter had been ill and sick on the bedding they sent the cleaners to clean and put new bedding on and they dealt with any issues that we went to them about such as ants and getting locked out of the room.
