We booked this three night break for our 30th anniversary after looking at places in the uk, this came out as a much better option price wise, and we certainly was glad as the weather was awful at home. We stayed bed and breakfast, and although rather noisy in the dining room, the food was really good, lots of fresh fruit, cereal, breads and cooked breakfast. We had a lovely double room, it was basic, but very clean and the maids came everyday. We also had a nice bottle of bubbles and chocolate and note from the hotel for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. The position of the hotel is something else, right on the beach with access to it, nicely located for restaurants. Animation and bar staff worked hard, most of the entertainment was geared to the Spanish, but everyone seemed to really enjoy it Overall I would return, but would love to see some more of the island

“Pleasantly surprised.”

For a 3 star, it was pleasantly surprising. Rooms were small, but cleaned daily, beds were comfortable, however only a sheet provided on top of beds instead of quilt. For a 3 star, it was pleasantly surprising. Rooms were small, but cleaned daily, beds were comfortable, however only a sheet provided on top of beds instead of quilt. There was an old, dated blanket in the wardrobe, we had to use it as it got cold in the night. If they provided a thin duvet on every bed would be so much better. They had about 5/6 Lifts & was never a long wait. All staff were friendly. Sunbeds were available, but imagine in peak season it'd be hard work. Food was what you'd expect on AI. Very samey, not very warm and not a big choice. Snack bar food very limited also. Could always get fruit and yogurt which was lovely, and pastries. But hot food was a tad disappointing. Daughter loved the strawberry and vanilla flavour milk available at breakfast and snack bar and waffles and nuttella were a hit. Token system, we were given a token each on checking to get a drink, even water. Every time you took ur cup back ud get another token. It does keep it very clean and tidy, but was a hassle with ques at the bar and a lot of time made us not bother. No self service drinks at all and also AI ice creams weren't advertised you had to que and ask at the bar. Also had to que for a drink from the bar in restaurant, even for soft drinks, which was very time consuming. However, we probably would return and thought standards were good for a 3 star. The town was very quiet, a few restaurants and shops. The Indian restaurant is highly recommended just across the road! The beach is lovely, clear water & lots of fish but €15 for 2 sunbeds & unmbrella. For a day out get a taxi or bus to Menorca Zoo. Not too expensive. How to improve - get self service soft drinks and ice creams. And quilts for beds!

Ok , great location without a question . Small rooms we can live with that. Food was flavourless in the main and often barely warm. Of course there were some better evenings. We came just before the season started the pool area was lovely but the pool was freezing. I would imagine if the hotel is full there will also be a lot of waiting for lifts . It was a pleasant stay but we will not be returning.
