We had a lovely week here, Our apartment was on the 3rd floor and was clean, bright and very spacious with a beautiful view. We found the food to be of a high standard and plentiful with different themes each night. The pool area can get quite crowded and there are many rows of sunbeds. We are not ones to stay at the hotel all day though so we got out most days and returned late afternoon to spend the last few hours around the pool when it got quieter. The hotel is ideally situated on the seafront so easy to get around and we walked to Anfi del mar 3 times during our stay as it's an absolutely beautiful beach. We took the water taxi to Mogan which I highly recommend doing as it's stunning. One thing we regret is only using the spa on our final day as it is wonderful. All in all this is a good hotel, very clean, great all inclusive offering and a good base to explore the island from via bus, foot and water taxi . We feel we got value for the money we paid.

Good, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful We arrived late at night and the hotel had set up some light snacks, sandwiches etc in the restaurant for us and we were warmly greeted by the staff there. Some reviews in April/may below talk about sickness at the hotel and as someone who is immunocompromised this caused me some concern and we contacted Jet2 before we went and were assured there was no known viral outbreak. We definitely did not see any signs of anyone unwell, and we had no concerns about hygiene around the hotel or any food areas. Location – good location close to shops and restaurants and right on top of the beach. We were not so keen on Arguineguin itself but it was pleasant enough and local buses are good and cheap so we utilized those and got out and about. Rooms – excellent size rooms with wonderful views and a balcony. Kept spotlessly clean with towel changes every other day. We had a two ring grill and a fridge in the kitchen area of the room with settee and chair in the living area. Lots of storage space. There is a kettle but no cups so you might want to purchase some or borrow some cups from the restaurant if you want to make a hot drink in your room. Food and drinks – Good choice of food at each mealtime; salads, cheeses, cold meats and hot cooked meals with a different theme each night. Good choice of deserts and fresh fruit available. In addition to this there is a beach bar with snacks like cooked chicken, chips, wedges, pizza etc. There is also cake and ice cream freely available and a large fruit bowl. You won’t go hungry. Cleanliness in the restaurant is very good with hand sanitiser available at each food station. At lunch time there is a staff member at the door with a bottle of sanitiser to remind those who don’t use it to use it. We don’t really drink alcohol very much, soft drinks were not very nice. Coke, lemon, fanta etc was unpleasant so we stuck to water or bought soft drinks from the shops. There are coffee machines in the restaurant and in the beach bar. Pool area – this was a bit of a nightmare, the pool area is in shade for most of the morning and the beds that get the sun first are reserved by people who must get up super early and place their towels on the sunbeds. Sunbeds are all placed very close together which is unpleasant. We mostly went out each day or went up on to the roof area as the pool area felt fraught and not a place to relax. Other facilities – good gym and solarium. Activities during the day around the pool area and there was entertainment every night. Lots of families who all seemed happy enough. There is a small minimarket selling drinks, snacks and some souvenirs. The lady who runs it is very smiley and friendly. All in all it was a good place to stay for the money paid. Good family hotel. Jet2 as always were fab, just wish they did long haul holidays!

We have just gotten back from a weeks break with our youngest, first time in Gran Canaria we absolutely loved it! Don’t read too much into bad reviews like I did because the rooms were spotless food was nice too the staff were absolutely amazing always making our 2 year old laugh while cleaning our tables they were soo friendly! credit to the ones who do go out their way and put effort in to making the guests stays that bit better only down side to this was the entertainment there could be more we ended up in our room at night or a walk out due to entertainment not being the most entertaining but that was my only fault with the stay! DONT be fooled when you got to Puerto Rico and get stopped by ANFI promise of various gifts for 90 minutes of your time we spent from 11-5 with them to realise it was a time share honestly just say no it’s not worth it for the freebies
