We are a family of 4. 2 adults and two teenagers. The hotel complex itself is nice, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are pleasant, spacious, and comfortable, making them a good place to relax after a day out. Unfortunately, the surrounding area feels quite run down, and there's very little nearby to see or do. The hotel also lacks a proper bar and any evening entertainment, so the evenings can be quite boring. Overall, it's a decent hotel if you're looking for a quiet break, but don't expect much in terms of nightlife or attractions in the local area. Be prepared to factor in extra costs for taxis etc . The town as a handful of restaurants and small bars but it pretty boring 😴

“Lovely 10 days in our 2 bedroom Apartment”

Had a wonderful 10 days here, ill start with the positives: kitchen amenities are great and all new appliances which made us happy to have dinners at home a few nights, there is a roof top pool with an additional child height separate pool which was fab and then the beach club which is a quick walk from the 2 bedroom apartment in which we stayed. The beach club is incredible, the infinity pool and shallow ends are great for adults and children with the jacuzzi seats too. Table service drinks were a bonus too, you cant use it at the weekend but if you plan your holiday to do other things it isnt a problem. The restaurant in the evening was nice too and Allesandro was such a friendly waiter, however a little bit pricey and my partner who ordered prawn skewers had only one and a tiny portion of salad and chips. We did return on our last night and it was much better. Cement factory was quite loud one evening but generally didn’t interfere with our stay, and the building work wasnt near our apartment so again didn’t bother us. The spa supermarket on site is good for things like milk and bread but we decided it wasnt stocked well enough to make proper dinners so walked to the hiper dino which is about 15 minutes away. On to the Negatives: I found the man at reception to be a bit frosty on arrival and we had continuous issues with our tv and wifi, we had someone come to look once and just out up with it after that. Was frustrating in the evening trying to watch a film and it keeping buffering though. The walk to Aguineguin isnt the most pleasant walking through a dusty carpark/shanty area and having to go past a sewage dump, however once past it the town is nice. Id you walk through the town and a bit further you will reach a cut off area of a beach with nice sand and fish that swim in it, which was a highlight of my holiday! We got a glass bottom boat to Puerto Rico from Aguineguin too which was a nice day out. A very enjoyable holiday!

Not 4 star resort. Isolated and in a ran down area. We stayed for 11 nights mid June family of 4 with 2 children. I read reviews before travelling and decided to try for ourselves and make my own judgement. We stayed in a Duplex apartment which had its own pool which was nice and had fairly good facilities, spacious. I didn’t like how my 4 yr old could just open the door and could be straight outside, not very secure. I had to brigade the door with a chair every night. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was average. Problem with flys on the fresh food at times which was a hard pass, for example the omelette station had flys all over the ingredients. The problem being is this is marketed as a 4 star resort by jet2, in my opinion without the beach club which isn’t owned by the hotel it is 3 star at best. No entertainment or bar area. Other than pool there is nothing for children. The cement factory is really ugly and either side is shanty houses/ derelict and the town only has a small handful of restaurants and really isn’t appealing. There was building work daily just behind our apartment that caused dust and we all had coughs and congestion for the duration of our stay. The noise was an issue too. We had a nice holiday but it was expensive due to added costs of taxis. Would not return.
