We stayed here in February for two weeks. A lovely holiday . Stayed in one bedroomed quiet apartment . Apartment was spotless , cleaning was exemplary clean towels most days , very friendly efficient staff, very well equipped apartment. Comfortable beds . Lovely walks around the bay . Weather was exceptionally hot , lots of sun beds around the pool area . Good daily entertainment around the pool , aqua fitness, volley ball, and occasional singers , quiet at night , but more evening entertainment at large hotel next door , short walk away. Short walk to square with lots of choice of good restaurants , self catered but ate out every night , food excellent at restaurants . Local spar supermarket easy walking distance . Tui staff on hand every day , very helpful , San Augustine beach is the best , bus stop other side of the bridge , 2 euros ,each way , livelier resort area. Will return here !

Lovely stay at Hotel. Been to Gran Canaria twice before but in the bust Maspalomas area, but decided to go to a quieter area. Decided to go self catering, this time as we do not eat a lot during the day. We had a 2 story, 2 bed apartment close to the pool area. Tidy/clean, plenty of shelves/ drawers. Great shower. Kitchenette which was well stocked. Coffee machine, toaster, microwave and hob. Paint work slightly worn in areas, but nothing too severe. Safe in the room. Arrived at the tale end of the storm that had battered the island so some electrical issues (Fuse tripped) but this was quickly dealt with. Asked for a iron/ironing board from reception and this was delivered quickly. Staff very friendly, English spoken widely. We were able to use the facilities at the sister hotel next door, which was busier with families with young children. They had a 6 lane 25m pool which could be used for a 5 Euro fee, well worth it. Gym use was free, but some of the machines were dated and need to be replaced. Treadmills, and dumbbells, and some static stations. There was a small plaza 200m away which had a number of Restaurants which we used. Great quality food, reasonable priced, friendly staff. There was a number of daily activities which you could participate in. To view just download the TUI Blue app. Some were good fun!! TOP TIP - Instead of using a taxi, down load the Global app and use the public buses, very cheap and frequent. Bus stop is a 5 min walk from the hotel and 2 x adult returns to Maspalomas only £3 each. We went further afield to Playa De Mogan on the bus and it was very cheap. Buses are clean, on time, tap and go, and they were not too busy. I did have a concern over the bus transfer to the airport form our Hotel when leaving. Bus was due to pick us up at 1pm. We were sat in the hotel foyer, no other people going on our bus, just before 1pm I went outside to see if any sign of this bus, only to see that the TUI bus just pulling out of the car park, I did manage to catch the drivers attention and he did stop. 10 seconds later and he would of been gone. He did not come into reception to collect us, and no TUI rep on hand. Due to the angle of the reception build you cant see directly into the car park. This is a worry! Plus when at airport, no TUI rep on hand. Our flight was delayed by an hour due to baggage handler "Go slow" - Poor/no communication from TUI - It is imperative that a TUI rep (a) is present at hotel reception for outward transfer to airport plus (b) present at airport to liaise with customers. On the whole very much enjoyed our stay. Thought it was good value for money (Plus TUI give you 25KG hold baggage allowance which is good). Certain parts of the hotel look a bit jaded, but on the whole is very clean and tidy.
