We recently stayed here with our 6-month-old baby and had a fantastic holiday overall. One of the standout features was the entertainment team. Not only was the evening entertainment some of the best we've seen at any hotel, but they were also brilliant around the pool during the day, creating a fun atmosphere without being overbearing. The evening shows were exceptional, with an amazing magic show and excellent Broadway-style performances from the animation team. They really put a lot of effort into creating memorable entertainment throughout the day and night. The pool facilities were excellent, with several lovely pools to choose from, including a heated pool and an even warmer splash and slide pool for younger children. Travelling with an infant was made much easier thanks to the hotel's family-friendly approach. They provided useful items such as a baby bath, microwave and bottle warmer, which we really appreciated. The IKEA high chairs in the restaurant were also a practical touch. The food was consistently good throughout our stay. As someone with food allergies, I felt very reassured by the clear food labelling. On occasions when there wasn't a suitable dessert available, the staff kindly arranged separate desserts for me at no extra charge, which was excellent customer service. The reception staff were fantastic and always happy to help whenever we needed anything. We arrived before our room was ready and they kindly refrigerated my expressed breast milk, which gave me great peace of mind. They also happily refroze our ice packs before we travelled home, which was another example of the thoughtful and accommodating service we received throughout our stay. The all-inclusive drinks selection was generally good. The cocktail menu was a little limited, but there were still some nice options available, and a different special cocktail was included each evening. The inclusion of recognised branded spirits such as Malibu, Jim Beam and Licor 43 was a pleasant surprise and helped make up for the smaller cocktail selection. Another nice touch was the included visit to one of the hotel's speciality restaurants, which gave a welcome change from the main buffet. Before booking, I had seen a few reviews describing the hotel as dated, but that wasn't our experience at all. The rooms were exactly as pictured online, so there were no surprises when we arrived. While some areas could perhaps benefit from a fresh coat of paint and the bathrooms could do with a refresh in the future, everything was clean, well maintained and perfectly functional. It certainly wasn't a negative level of "dated" and didn't impact our enjoyment of the holiday. The bed was also absolutely massive and incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep every night. The location worked very well for us. The main beach area was around a 15–20 minute walk away, but there was a lovely beach just a minute from the hotel. There was also a large shopping centre less than five minutes away, including a supermarket, which was incredibly convenient. The only real downside for us was the steep charge for the room safe. We feel this is something that should be included as standard rather than requiring an additional fee. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel, particularly to families with young children, allergy sufferers, and anyone looking for great entertainment, attentive service, and good all-inclusive value.

We returned from Elba Sara yesterday after 10 days and what a wonderful time we have had. Right from the start we were welcomed by Roberto and staff at the desk who were so welcoming and friendly despite us arriving late at night. The reception staff could not do enough for us and were extremely helpful when our little boy become unwell and they got the doctor to visit and he was prescribed medication. Christina on the front desk was so helpful with local knowledge and helping us extend our room for a late checkout. We had read a couple of reviews online and were a bit concerned about what to expect, but there was no need to worry as we have had an incredible time and we are looking at returning with friends next year. Our room was spotless the maids looked after us so well. Lovely sea view from our balcony too. Food was fantastic there was literally something for everyone, it was clean at all times, we went for dinner a bit earlier and we never had issues with getting a table, when we were leaving their were queues but they seemed to go down fairly quickly. The staff in the restaurants work so hard- Tracy was so lovely giving our little boy sweeties for eating his dinner. The pool bar was great for snack throughout the day too and self service drinks and ice cream made life easy. The Animation entertainment Team were incredible! They worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble, my little boy loved kids club and was upset when we had days out planned as he just wanted to go to kids club. A big shout out to Mr D who’s dance moves have inspired my 4 year old to do breakdancing, Alexandro who was fab DJ and Pepe! Mr Salsa and Reuben, and the rest of the team who truly made our holiday, especially my little boy who when it came to say goodbye to Pepe on our last day started crying as he didn’t want to go home. We’ve had all the mini disco tunes on since coming home too. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the entertainment team - you are fabulous! Great pools and plenty of sun beds, the splash pool can get a bit full at times and despite the sign about not to smoke this seemed to be ignored by guests and not enforced by staff which is a bit disappointing. Around the pool can be very slippery when wet and we saw a lot of kids fall over. Staff cleaned the pool area too. Stuff to do nearby a wander into Caleta de fuste is nice lovely beaches and feeding the chipmunks on the rocks is great. We did go to Oasis Wildlife Park which was a fab day out but it’s pricey, lovely experiences feeding the giraffes and camels, and the transport goes from the hotel door, they also have a fab splash park there so pack your swimwear. We also go the bus to Corralejo got some shopping in and a nice wander around the harbour area looking for crabs on the rocks. You can also get the ferry over to Lanzarote for the day if you fancy it or some boat trips. We never usually return to the same place for a holiday but we can see ourselves coming back for sure. Just a couple of minor things that I feel could help improve the hotel, firstly extra sun umbrellas around the kids pool some portable ones that people can put up on the side of the splash pool. I saw a lot of mums and (myself) with children asleep on them in the afternoon and there wasn’t any shade. Also a board with names and photos of the entertainment team and Pepe of course, as this would help children to familiarise themselves with the staff. The only issue I personally saw was people’s level of parenting, I’m disappointed seeing feral brits not parent there kids who should have been renamed Lucifier. The entertainment team at mini disco had to contend with their kids trying to jump on the team members or hit them and seeing the parents just sit back and laugh, it was awful. The team dealt with it fantastically but shouldn’t have too. Also the same family whose kid just peed against the wall next to the pool again finding it funny when they were literally 20 yards away from the toilets - unfortunately trash can get anywhere. If you’re looking for a great family holiday I’d definitely recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to returning. Thanks Elba Sara for helping us make beautiful family memories.

Just came back from a weeks stay on the 5th floor. I came with my almost 5 year old and 16 month old. We also came with my mum, step dad, brother (30) & our grandparents (70-80s). Firstly check in with a welcome drink was a delight!! Rooms: SUCH comfortable beds, incredibly clean (cleaned daily) and a lovely shower. It would be useful for a bath too for our children as trying to shower a slippery 16 month old was a task 😅… but I feel you can survive a week. Lovely having ability to have tea or coffee on the balcony with such stunning views. Air con was good, although a little noisy on the last setting but this didn’t bother me (just my husband 🤨). Pool area: kids pool was great for both the children. Smaller main pool great for my 4 year old, she was able to stand in most of it so enjoyed this one too. Slightly chilly but once you’re in it’s fine and nice to cool off after being hot in the sun! It was kept clean, plenty of space and yes people reserve sunbeds but we never did and managed to get sunbeds for 10 people daily without doing so. We did take some chairs from elsewhere for my grandparents which they appreciated. Food: snack bar acceptable - the kids and us enjoyed an afternoon snack at times. The drinks were great, no complaints. As a pescatarian there are plenty of options - breakfast you could have freshly made omelette, fried/scrambled or boiled eggs, yoghurt & fruit, cereal. I would love to see some vegetarian sausages or something but this is the same everywhere!! Lunch I often had fish (I am a bit fished out - freshly cooked prawns were a lovely addition!) and plenty of lovely options including fresh salad, cheese & biscuits etc. husband enjoyed all the meat & the kids were happy with pizza, chips, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, meat options too, pasta etc. same for dinner. We did go to the à la carte which was a nice change. The buffet food could be warmer sometimes (not a huge issue - I never felt I couldn’t eat it) but it is a buffet and can’t be boiling the whole time! Entertainment: both kids loved the kids disco, both obsessed with Pepe and we got two of the Pepe toys to which they have been obsessed with ever since. My 4 year old used the mini club and loved it, she had a great time. The entertainers were absolutely lovely with her and always seemed so happy and full of energy for both kids and adults! I was surprised at how they started the day off energetic and then did the evening entertainment with the same energy and I truly did enjoy it - best entertainment at a hotel I’ve seen 😌. The kids disco is sometimes outside and sometimes inside - it was lovely outside being able to enjoy the sunny evenings but you did have to get there early for a seat. Staff in general: really lovely and helpful. My little one needed a doctor and antibiotics sadly and I (think) the manager (blonde lady?) checked on us and reminded me they are available 24 hours if we need them. The doctor comes daily in the morning which was useful to know. My daughter also threw a bottle of calpol on the floor and it smashed, I told staff and they made me feel so at ease and a cleaner came straight away who also told me not to worry. We would absolutely return and recommend this hotel to families! Thank you for a lovely time with great memories made.

“Good but could be better”
