“Lovely couple’s getaway”

Our board: All-inclusive. Location: Brilliant location, on the beach front with lovely restaurants and shops around. You can go to plenty of excursions which offer hotel pick up - we went to Oasis Wildlife Park and a trip to Lobos Island, Sand Dunes and Popcorn beach! Room: We were really satisfied with the spacious room which had a kitchen, comfy beds and a balcony with a view of the pool and the sea. The cleaners were kind and friendly, and swapped the towels regularly, cleaned the bins and mopped up. They also changed the bed sheets and made the bed up to a good standard. There are some little chips in the floor and scuffs but that didn’t bother us. Just general wear and tear that doesn’t affect the quality of your stay. Food and dining: I was impressed with the food, I am a vegetarian and my partner is a meat eater and we found there was a good variety for both. I found the food to be fairly hot, and a great drink selection. Vegetarian dishes included, a salad bar, pizza, pasta, risotto, rice / bean dishes etc. The waiters were hospitable and prompt to clean up after people. We didn’t eat outside of the hotel restaurant as we were satisfied with the food. Great to see there were a variety of breakfast milk options including soya, oat, cashew and dairy. Pool side: We spent two days by the pool and it was really relaxing. As all inclusive we had access to drinks and snacks, which were great refreshers in the sun. The pool is clean, and there are activities around 2pm including archery which was fun and you can win prizes. I won a free pina colada! Room for improvement: 1. The WiFi connection was not strong, even in our room and by the pool. This was frustrating as I do use my phone and watch shows which I could not do consistently. 2. The toilet roll is very thin. - investing in a higher ply would mean going through less and would probably save money when bulk buying. 3. The toilet roll was not replenished at the pool side and many people had to switch stalls to find toilet roll. Final verdict: Overall I would definitely come back here, as I felt comfortable and relaxed. After being to Tenerife and Lanzarote, Fuerteventura has been my favourite canary island. I recommend this trips to couples! 🐪☀️

Hi all. We returned home recently and thought some of you might find our take on the hotel useful. If you are looking for a 5* hotel with cordon bleu food, this is not for you. There a has been an incredible amount of unnecessary moaning and a different hotel would be more suitable. However, if you are looking for a hotel that is clean, has spacious rooms, an all inclusive budget price, and is run by a pleasant team, this is ideal. It has evening entertainment but if nothing suits you, the walk to the local bars and restaurants is about 6 minutes. Everything is reasonably priced. If you like a curry, Masala Twist is really good & Shivam is great for a variety of foods and takeaways. We had the newly refurbished restaurant for the last few days, and it was lovely, clean, and refreshed with omelette, meat, and fish show cooking stations. The breakfast is plentiful and has hot and cold choices. Meats, cheeses, breads, toasties, fried eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, hash browns, pancakes, fruit, and prosecco, to name a few. Lunch and dinner they have great salad options, soup, always a fish and a meat dish. Pasta, burgers, hot dogs, veg, stews, and loads more. If you like your food piping hot, there is a microwave and never a queue to use it. The pool snack bar serves nuts, crisps, sweets, burgers, hotdogs, chips, salad, and toasties. We took a burger to the room one day for late night snacks. The separate kitchen in the rooms has a good fridge, a hob, and a microwave. Never had a problem getting a sunbed after our morning walk around 11-12 noon. The hotel does need updating, which they are in the process of doing, but this doesn't affect the cleanliness or the service. As you leave the hotel, the sandy beach and sea are right in front of you. Turn left and head up to the windmill for plenty of shops and bars. You'll come to a main road and if you cross over there is more to see such as Masala Twist, Fado Steak House, The Flower of Scotland etc. Turn left out of the hotel and follow the path around the sea for the harbour. You can take dolphin excursions, jet skiis, etc. from there. Turn right for a 10 minute walk to a shopping centre and a beautiful beach. A few tips: If you want to use the kitchen, take a tea towel, a scourer, a bit of washing up liquid, tea and coffee. Towels are a €10 cash deposit that is returned when you hand them back. If you want your towels changing for a clean one, it's €1 per towel. Late room checkout is €30 until 3pm or €50 until 5pm. We used the courtesy room that you have to book a slot for, but they get taken very early and you can't book it until your last day. We have had a great week.
