Myself my wife her daughter and her husband stayed here for a week 19th-26th may and what a lovely time we had,greeted by a lady i think her name was rebekka who had not long started working for hotel very nice and friendly checked me and my wife in.my step daughter and her husband had a problem with there booking which they had made through love holiday's who had put in the date's for september instead of May,rebekka did everything possible and with much thank's managed to sort the problem out thank you very much.everything after that was absolutely spot on never had any problems with choice of food all was lovely,omelette's at breakfast time where great and a varied choice even my wife was happy with and she's fussy with food.bar staff managed well even if it got a bit busy,everywhere was clean room's might be a bit dated but didn't bother me it's a 3 star at the end of the day your sleeping in it and getting showered/changed in it,plenty of space though comfy bed's a a mini fridge so could keep ltr bottle's of water nice and cold (got 2 in sideway's and space at top on shelf to put can's).overall we all had a lovely time which had me bog smacked because my wife said wish we staying another week so thank you again for a lovely holiday keep up the good work all of you and hopefully we might be back again at christmas time

Our holiday to SMY Tahona was amazing the location was wonderful and beautiful apart from everything was far apart and not walking distance also the location wasn’t far from the airport, atmosphere was wonderful the hotel was busy but quiet and not to much children which was lovely, all the staff were wonderful and nothing was to much for them and the atmosphere around the complex was lovely everybody staying were friendly rooms were basic but what do you expect we only sleep in the room, everything we needed in the room was there, the rooms were clean and tidy and cleaned everyday without fault the fan was my best friend especially in the nights, bed was really comfy, shower was lovely and warm, tv was excellent, the only downfall of the room was the internet was slow it really only worked outside or by the pool side, I would recommend this hotel, the value for money is brilliant and I would give this hotel and complex a 4* not 3*, we were all inclusive which was valued and good for the money, food was lovely especially breakfast, all the menu was different each day which was nice and the food was hot even if the time was close to shutting, noise level was quiet apart from the entertainment, The bar staff was amazing especially Daniel who served us all the drinks we wanted and more, the only thing we would say was not the best was the internet, snackbar and the entertainment in the evening, we didn’t want to go home and we have had an amazing week hopefully will be back soon

Don’t be fooled by the photos for this hotel .. the pool is not as nice as the pics show. Our room had a big gap at the top of the door which allowed mozzies in. Don’t be fooled by the photos for this hotel .. the pool is not as nice as the pics show. Our room had a big gap at the top of the door which allowed mozzies in. There’s no aircon just a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a standing fan in the living area that didn’t do much at all. The shower was an over the bath one, with a shower curtain that once you’d showered the bathroom floor was soaking wet even though we left the curtain in the bath. Our room was not cleaned everyday .. beds made 2 or 3 times during the whole week but no signs of cleaning. The WiFi was horrendous, you couldn’t watch tv as it just buffered constantly. There was squashed mozzies all over the walls. Black marks near the wardrobe that looked like mould. Cracked tiles in the bathroom that had just been painted over. It is in need of updating and refurbishing. We were told that our room was a partially refurbished room !!!!! Food wasn’t too bad, plenty of variety. There’s no inside bar only the pool bar, which we didn’t use in the evening as it was too cold to sit outside. It’s a good walk to the resort centre, which isn’t nothing special. It was my birthday whilst there and my daughter had asked our travel agent to request something nice put into our room to make my day special. This didn’t happen and I was later told that the hotel had emailed our travel agent to suggest birthday packages. But my travel agent assured me that they had definitely not had a reply back from their request. We like a reasonably busy resort with a bit of nightlife … this was definitely not that.
