Ive just got home and I can't stop thinking about this holiday. I honestly had a really good time here. The staff are amazing, eduardo I think his name was, he did the evenings at the bar. Absolutely brilliant guy, super friendly. It got to the point where I would give him my cup and he would just know what I wanted. He was very anal about cleanliness in and around the bar. The guy who organised the entertainment, We called him Alex but that wasn't his actual name. He was a really nice guy. He would get everyone involved in the activities and hype everyone up. The complex was actually boring on his days off and most guests went home early. He has a really good taste in music and even played one of his own. Will definitely miss his kareoke nights. The location was standard but felt much safer than the main town. There is no one around to bother you with unwanted merchandise, everyone in the local stores are really friendly. Especially the staff at the nebula restaurant. The hills were a struggle to start with but ive come home with huge calf muscles so im not complaining. This was our first holiday together and although there were a few things that we didn't really like, we made do and got on with it. The food here is average on most days but on some days its actually really nice, I guess it depends on what chefs are cooking. The vegetable spring rolls are beautiful and the chips are always crispy. Deserts are always top notch. Yes there is few choices but the restaurant isn't the biggest so they make do with the space they have. Cocktails are really nice and I 100% recommend the banana liqueur with sprite. Pools are always clean and at a really nice temperature. There are plenty of beds around the pools. The reception was beautiful, the style and the layout, just stunning. The shop next to reception is really useful if you want to book tickets to things. The ladies behind the counter are super helpful and know a lot about what the experiences involve. They are not pushy either when you are just curious. Rooms are cleaned every 2 days, the cleaners are actually really nice. We emptied the bins for them to make things easier and quicker in the heat, as they clean the rooms at all hours of the day. The rooms are warm of a night, especiallythe bedroom. We moved our beds into the living space for a cooler night sleep and we managed quite well. Yes the rooms may be slightly outdated but they still work as rooms. The images in the brochure are very accurate, so don't expect 5 star luxury in a 3 star establishment. We loved our room, the views were breathtaking with the sea at the front and the volcano at the back. Being on the corner, we had 3 balconies. The only downside to our stay was the level of noise after 12am. We were right by the top pool and the other guests were jumping in at the early hours of the morning. Not really the fault of the hotel but just something to keep in mind as you have to have the doors open of a night due to the temperature. We did hear the staff tell them off a few times but unfortunately it was our fellow English guests that were the noisy ones. We met so many interesting people and honestly despite all of the small issues here, it's been a great experience. I would recommend this hotel as a place to make friends with the guests and connections with the people that work here. I honestly miss it already and really hope I can come back again. “The noise!”

Nice enough hotel, the ground floor rooms are way too hot and someone could very easily climb in a window and high is a huge security risk, so we were moved to a second floor. Nice enough hotel, the ground floor rooms are way too hot and someone could very easily climb in a window and high is a huge security risk, so we were moved to a second floor. The second floor rooms are much cooler. But I really wish someone had mentioned the noise, because oh my god it is horrendous! It was like being in the middle of a council estate. This is no fault of the hotel but we were constantly woken up by other people screaming all night, smoking weed and being scabs! The woman downstairs from us had an almighty great meltdown that went on for HOURS. The poor security guard, I did feel for him but he should have told her to just STFU. Added to that, the bar seriously need to turn the volume down, although it went off at 11pm. There isn’t any need for it to be that loud. Other than that, the staff really were great. The food was fine, a bit samey. Nice and clean and there’s plenty of choice of pools - the bar one is full of loud riff raff. Plenty of sun loungers.
